      Happy to have new washers and dryers in laundry room! They should be locked at night though to prevent more vandalism from happening. Windows in gym should be closed at night to keep the moisture out - especially since the treadmill is right next to windows. Need a dumpster for recycle since the 2 small bins are always full.

      This was not my first choice when looking for an apartment. I ended up here by chance as the leasing office of my first choice was "closed" without listing a return time. I continued down the street and ended up at Shoreline. I was impressed with the dog park right away and knew this was a dog friendly community. The office was open and the leasing agent was willing to show me all the available units and did so in a very low pressure way. I was impressed. I moved in and ever since I have been happy with my choice. My dog is happy here and so am I.

      Shoreline apartment has been fantastic so far. Pros: -Modern single bed apartment with large living room, patio and kitchen. -24/7 gym and laundry with a Rec center in day time. -Welcoming community for dogs and has its own dog park. -Parking space Cons: -needs more 2 bedroom units. My understanding is there isn't many. Would be nice to construct more and rent them out at a premium. This place would be very competitive with additional 2bed units.

      Very quiet and clean community. The apartment is a bit old but everything is in working order. The price of rent is a little crazy for the tiny space, but overall I'm satisfied with my apartment.

      I do not recommend this housing community. I have put in many work requests and staff are not timely-do not come within the 3-4 hour time frame they claim they will; repairs have been unprofessionally done/poor quality or issues keep coming up after the repair has been made. Repair staff have been consistently respectful when interacting with me; prop. management generally polite and professional when everything is going well, though can become unprofessional when issues arise. Beautiful grounds and they do accept pets which is a plus (though you definitely pay for it).

      We just moved in about two and half weeks ago but so far we are loving everything about Shoreline! The grounds are beautiful, it's so nice and quiet, the staff is quick to respond and super helpful. We love it!

      If you are looking for s place to rent and you expect your management staff to be responsive to your questions or issues - don't rent at Shoreline @ Monterey Bay. The location is great, but thats where the positives end. The management team and the maintenance staff are the worst!

      Beautiful space, wonderful people, but it exactly what you see is what you get. I came in for one apartment and ended up in a different one due to mistakes. I hear the upstair neighbor 3am, daily, But I live in a garden next to the ocean.

      Disrespectful/mostly absent management, poor ventilation, over priced and under supports it’s current residents. Worst place I’ve ever lived solely due to management. Would type more if there was room.

      Fluctuating monthly rent is a problem. You sign one lease for one price and they rent the similar apartments weeks later for hundreds of dollars less per month.

      Shoreline should really fix their online web management paying system, its been 3 years and its has not been resolved yet. If you rely solely on pay your rent online you could end up with a late fee due to their lack of communication of these services that sometimes work and sometimes do not. Since ive been living here they've changed the link to pay about 4-5 times and do not notify you of it.

      There is no hot water

      There is no hot water in the shower at these apartments. When you try to call the management to get something like this repaired, no one answers. Their after hours emergency line has a recording that says: the mailbox is full. Difficult to live here with no hot water in the shower.
