Property Ratings at The Shelby
I’ve been a resident since 2023. AT FIRST, there was leasing office issues (hard to reach someone, maintenance requests took long to be resolved) BUT NOW this is becoming a solid place to live. Building amenities are now accessible, and, there are grocery/smoke shops, restaurants, social places and public transportation nearby. The property manager T. Wiggins is always reliable and communicates effectively. 4 stars for street parking; a minor hassle when there are events in the area. Nonetheless, tour & book!

I've been here now for 3 years. The building is clean and secure, the location is great (you're right next to Schnucks and there's a parking garage across the street). Trevion, the manager, is nice and very accommodating.

Management is nonexistent. They are unresponsive and never in office, the owners are the same, save yourself the headache.
Not worth your time or money...they just want the Air BnB revenue.

(Resident from May 2019 - Jul 2020) Mostly had a great experience here. The management and maintenance were very competent in my experience, and it's a new building so everything is in good condition. My only complaint is that a few of the other residents weren't the kind of people I want to live near (smoking in their rooms, loud music, leaving trash in hallways). These people were the exception, thankfully, at least when I lived here.
