The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Ridge on 34th Avenue Apartments
Very Spacious Clean and Very Nice Place To Be On Your Own or With Your Spouse Highly Recommend By Ms Kelsey Nimmons
it's at a Goldilocks location for going to University of Florida. Within easy scooter distance of class. But not right at a bunch of distraction like 13th. The buildings are ancient. The apartments are huge. Like built for giants huge. Maintenance team is pretty on fleck. Office staff are friendly and helpful.
The apartments here are as big as houses. The place is older than my Granddad, but they've got it good and patched up with duck tape and stuff. It's location is prime. Close to but not right at UF. Fast and grocery store food right here. A decent public pool right down 34th. There's only 3 apartment buildings on 2nd and 34th. So It's in the middle of Gainesville and a small neighborhood at the same time

It's great to hear you're enjoying the spaciousness and prime location of The Ridge on 34th. We truly value your appreciation for our community's unique blend of historical charm and modern convenience. Thank you for your feedback.
If you've got classes at UF, you're going to need a scooter. You could walk from here. But not really. It can be a tiny electronic scooter. It's close. Just not close enough. Building is old but patched up ok. My apartment is very spacious. I had to buy a bigger tv.

Hi! Thank you for all your helpful advice to future residents. It's such a great feeling to know that our residents are happy and we are exceeding your living expectations. We're overjoyed to see your rating. Thank you for sharing!
It's not as convenient to UF as Midtown due to not being able to cut through the corner of 34th the way you can at 13th. so it's like a 15 minute extra walk. But I know people who pay more for much smaller places (The apartments here are huge!) further away. There's a park, public pool with diving boards, and a decent movie theater close by. It's a low key area compared to the other side of the college

Old building with big apartments. Like really big. Nothing broken down. There's a Publix, movie theater, restaurants, and some shops a block away. If it was a more modern building, I'd give it 5 stars because the location kinda slaps for my studies.

I'm pretty happy with my one bedroom. Lots of space for the price. The building is old, but well maintained. The neighborhood is pretty quiet with a small string of shops, restaurants and a Publix a block away. It's on the less trendy side of UF.

Hi, thank you for your 5-star review! We are happy to hear that The Ridge has been a pleasant home in a convenient location for you. As always, feel free to stop by the office if you need anything!
I signed my lease to live at The Ridge on 34th from Texas. And I was real happy with what I got when I walked into my door. Very spacious living room. There's restaurants and a Publix grocer a block away. (Apparently, there is always a Publix a block away. Everywhere in Gainesville. You'd have to go down University Ave a bit to find nightlife. Much much less criminal sketchy types on this side of UF. Like one at a time maybe. People feel comfortable walking by themselves at night. It's a nice cozy little bit of right next to the college.

Hi User, thank you for posting such a wonderful review. Our management and team at The Ridge on 34th are committed to providing nothing less than a high-quality living experience. We hope to continue to meet and exceed your lifestyle expectations!
I have my second student in Gainesville and The Ridge is not where you want to be. We have had nothing but trouble in the first five months of the year. It is under student management and my son had horrible leaks in his apartment from the HVAC system that took forever to fix. Now, they were hit by a truck this weekend and have no power. They are being placed in other "bed space" for exam week. If it was other than student management, I might have faith but it has been a disaster since he moved in. We will not renew this lease. Signed a Florida parent who knows better and looking for new housing.

Car got a bullet through the window community does nothing to show they care about the community. The place is run down people idling in the streets.
Dimly lit streets. No security cameras. No guard on duty. My car was broken into and there was a shooting where a person was shot in the neck.
the place is ok, for what one paid before it was fine, but now they pretend that the tenant has to pay for all the renovations they want to do inside the apartment, and they increase the rent at all times, the increase in rent does not justify at all , no improvements are seen at all.
