Southside Flats is one of two neighborhoods that make up Pittsburgh's dynamic Southside. The primarily residential neighborhood is located at the base Mount Washington, Southside's enormous hill. It also sits right under the Southside Slopes, the other Southside neighborhood, which runs precariously up the hillside. Residents of the Flats have convenient access to the hottest shopping and nightlife district in Pittsburgh, as well as riverfront trails and parks.
The lively neighborhood lies south of the Monongahela River and south of East Carson Street, known as the "Great American Main Street." One of Pittsburgh's major commercial corridors, East Carson Street offers 15 blocks of Victorian architecture, boutiques, restaurants, bars, art galleries, theatres, and live music venues.
Southside has experienced a residential renaissance, as older 19th-century homes, abandoned factories, and mills are being renovated into modern houses, apartments, and luxury lofts.

Property Ratings at The Revival on Carson
I recently just moved in and I couldn't be happier. The location is perfect, I am steps from Carson Street which has the best restaurants and bars. The fitness center great and has all the equipment I need. There are also two rooftop terraces and one has an outdoor kitchen with a grill, which is amazing for Pittsburgh summers. Highly recommend living here!
The apartments are beautiful and new. I love the views, high ceilings and modern fixtures. Walkable to great coffee shops, restaurants and bars. The gym is great and the rooftop deck is a great place to relax.
I toured this property with my son who is moving into town. The buildings are in very poor condition. There was garbage in the lobby and in the hallways. The buildings are not secure. The main entrances have latches, but the side/back resident entrances are not locked. You have to walk down 2 narrow alleys to get to the parking lot. The buildings are also not in a desirable part of the Southside Flats -surrounded by lots of boarded up businesses. I'm writing this review so others moving from out of town know what the apartments are really like.
