I’ve been living in this apartment for 2, and I can honestly say it’s been a wonderful experience. From the moment I moved in, the management team especially Kiley has been incredibly friendly, professional, and responsive to any questions or needs. The apartment itself is spacious, modern, and very well-maintained. The amenities, such as the gym and pool, have truly enhanced my living experience. The location is perfect – convenient to the highway, making it easy to get around and enjoy everything the area has to offer. The community is quiet and friendly, making it feel like a true home. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable, hassle-free living experience. Truly a 5-star place to call home!

I have lived here for four years. KILEY is very helpful. I trust her very much. I have to move out due to personal reasons for one year. After this one year my plan is to come back to R56 because of her. This is my home and I love it very much.

I've only recently moved in. I come from suburbs on the west side, so I was a little scared to move out to the East side. But this little neighborhood feels so safe! My last apartment complex never filled a single work order. I got all my work orders completed within a week here! Plus, for the price, it feels like a luxury apartment with the amenities and updates.

Been here for the last 6 years, beautiful place to live!

I've lived here for almost 2 years, and this is a very nice neighborhood. The move-in process was quick and staff was very helpful. If a problem arises in my home, maintenence staff is always quick to react and fix the situation--this was especially true with HVAC issues.

I really enjoyed moving here, there are honestly no complaints and my move in process was very swift and easy. Office staff are trustworthy, polite and understanding. :)

I’ve been here 3 years now, 1 year in a townhome and 2 now in a 1 bed. I’m happy here & Maintenace comes out quickly which i wasn’t used to with other apartments I’ve lived in. They take care of the grounds and make sure they shovel the sidewalks when it snows. & plow the main streets as well. It’s very well kept & the apartments are updated and whenever i have people over they always say they love my apartment. It’s my home and i plan to stay a while here since I’m happy here.

R56 is a great place to live. Maintenance is very fast and everyone is super friendly.

We love our space! It is extremely homey and spacious while fitting in our budget. The look and feel in our place is a perfect fit for us. They do many community events for residents which is great! We are much closer to grocery stores and retailers that we need more frequently than where we previously lived.

Just moved in, noticed the great customer service in the office. I feel very welcomed. No complaints here.

Any problem that I have I make sure to go to Penni Wilborn (leasing agent) & she assists me with anything that I have! She also helped out my family! I’m a happier camper!!

I've been living here for about 8 months. The pool area and gym are my favorite. They are so nice and generally kept in good order. The clubhouse can be rented out and it is SUPER nice and have nice appliances. I also appreciate the convenience of dog wash station. Using my bathtub is not always ideal, having to bend down, but the dog wash station keeps my pup in place and I can focus on getting her cleaned, rather than stopping her from jumping out of the water. Maintenance responses to tennant issues are pretty timely. I'm not loving the way the snow situation is being handled currently with minimal work being done around sidewalks and parking spaces creating ice everywhere, but the main street is clear, and I have seen them doing some work here and there to rectify the situation.

Since moving in earlier this year, I have loved calling R56 home. Our neighbors are friendly, our townhouse amenities are just what we need, maintenance has helped us out whenever we put in a request, and I use the gym equipment daily (so nice to have!). On top of that, their monthly newsletters with local happenings and frequent resident celebrations (ex. Thanksgiving Pie, Christmas Cocoa and Wrapping station, NYE Celebration) have made us feel truly valued as members of the community. Definitely recommend!

I recently moved into this apartment right at the end of the year. Despite that being a high volume for move ins / move outs, the process was extremely smooth and the folks at the leasing office took great care of me and walked me through everything! During the application process, I had several folks reach out to me via email and text to make sure all of my questions were addressed. There was even a slight hiccup where I had recently changed jobs so my paystubs were from two different companies; however, despite that abnormal situation they were able to be patient with me to validate my income and still process my application! After moving in, I placed a few maintenance tickets and to my surprise they were all addressed and solved within 24 hours! This property has a lot of units and with the weather being bad lately, I was really shocked and felt so valued as a resident there with that level of service! I see there are several low reviews from 3-4 years back now on this site, but I strongly urge everyone to take another look at this property. I'm not sure if there was a change of management or just a review in policies, but so far everything has been an absolute breeze!

We moved in late August and we enjoy living here so far! The neighborhood is calm, we have a gym that we can use whenever we want. I love taking my son on a stroller walk in the mornings. The staff is also nice. Issues with heat and water that were solved very quickly. We will probably renew or lease for the next year!!!

I just relocated here from Texas and I love the beautiful wooden setting of the apartments. Driving through newer streets without potholes, and exterior lighting, makes this place feel so safe at night. I know no place is perfect especially in apartment living, but I can see the changes since the first of the year, out with old and in with the new, and I have met many neighbors that I am meeting at the gym/clubhouse who love the improvements. Friendly people and friendly pets. The leasing and maintenance staff are welcoming and friendly too.

Moved in about a month ago and there has been problem after problem since I got the keys. Management and staff communication is so poor, I wrote a 5 page letter to the property explaining all issues and still had to explain to atleast 4 people what the issues were. My car was broken into a couple weeks ago. The gave us a new unit do to the first one have so many mantainence issues that they couldn't resolve them, and we were forced to move ALL OVER AGAIN. The beautiful amenities you see are usually unaccessible, as this complex has over 700 units. No exaggeration. And our AC is still not working after they were said to have fixed the "small" problem with it. It's 108 degrees out... And we have no working AC, no offer of a solution and no guarantee to safety. Save yourself the headache and keep looking.

I absolutely would not recommend living here after staying here for a year and a half! This is multiple issues going on with my unit that the property manager refuses to address. My neighbor’s washing machine keeps draining into my unit causing my bathroom to floor and leak downstairs. The maintenance decided to address this by pouring a bottle of my personal drano down the drain instead of getting to the root cause of the issue. They left a drying machine in my unit for a week, which shut off the first night. With no instructions, or any follow up. We tried to contact the head of maintenance, Rich, but he never answered or returned calls. Due to flooding multiple times the flooring has began to buckle and come completely detached in certain areas. The property has not addressed the floor repairs at all. in addition to the water damage areas the flooring across the whole unit is uneven, loosening and buckling. We’ve been trying to getting AC fixed since the end of april. The property decided that it would have to be 85 degrees for 3 consecutive days or May 15th whichever is first. I got my AC “fixed” on May 16th and only worked for 2 hours before it started blowing hot air. Maintenance came out again on the 20th and the AC only blowed cool air for 1 day. Since then they have not been out fix it. I’ve had to live in a 80+ degree house for 3 weeks. I’ve called over 5 times to have AC fixed with no avail. The maintenance on this property do not truly fix the root cause of issue they are just temporary fixes. Last year we were promised a new AC unit but we still have the old unit that continues to break. The Cabinets are poorly put together in the kitchen. wood along the base of the cabinets is beginning to split, and the door to one of the cabinets was not latched properly so the door is crooked. One of the drawers completely came apart just from everyday use. With the cost of rent I would except better workmanship, as wel as getting unit repaired in a timely manner. Please consider elsewhere to live. Residences on 56th St is not worth your money or frustration. The apartment look good at first. Once you start to actually live everyday life in the unit things start to fall apart.
