I've been residing here for 10 months and just renewed my lease for another year. I'm absolutely enamored with this complex and look forward to renewing annually. The office staff and manager are exceptional and empathetic. The maintenance staff are respectful, and any concerns are addressed in a timely manner. It's a small community, not an expansive apartment complex, which suits me perfectly. I appreciate the personal touch that comes with a smaller community. The maintenance of the apartments, the surroundings, and the common areas is top-notch. My experience here has been entirely positive, and I feel secure at night. There's a variety of daily activities. Even my 29-year-old daughter says she wishes she could live here. The residents are friendly and welcoming from the start. I have been living at the Residences at Monterra Commons since April 2023 and couldn’t be happier with my choice to move here. The complex is stunningly beautiful and well kept. The front office staff was so helpful in making our out-of-state move a seamless one. All of the move in paperwork was done online in a very easy to use resident portal. All of the staff are very professional, courteous and helpful. This complex has all the amenities you could ever want in a rental property: Pool (heated/salt water), gym, sauna, theatre, crafts, pickle ball and more. And there is always a calendar full of community events where you really get to know your neighbors while having a blast. Wine down Wednesday is a personal favorite. It is truly resort living! The apartments are spacious with high end finishes and appliances. From the minute I moved in, I felt at home.
Terrible management will not return calls, emails or communicate with you after you signed a lease that is 40 pages long. Water is putrid, black dirt coming out of faucets and smells like rotten eggs. We had to put in water filters under each sink to be able to drink the water and they charged us $250 to remove them. Expensive decor, and doors to each apartment have large gaps under the door so that in the event of a fire smoke will fill all apartments…..don’t go there….
