I lived in The Reserve from 2016 to 2024. There was a lot of changing of management in the eight years that I was there, but all in all it was great. The last set of leasing agents when I left in 2024 were all great. The apartments were nice size decent, and affordable prices. Pet, friendly, and all in all a good community to live in.

Aside from the pool closing too early for working adults to enjoy it, the complex is decent. It's been a lot of improvement over the past year or so. Pest control has been consistent, maintenance has always been responsive, repairing of the pot holes and a couple neighborhood events make this a decent place to live. I hadn't had any problems and the rent is very reasonable. If we could get the pool to stay open until at least 9pm to avoid the unbearable heat during the day and enjoy just sitting by pool, that would be awesome.

This place is the worst I’ve been living here for 3 months and still my AC does not work among a lot of other things. The up keep of the grounds and buildings are NASTY dog poop and trash every where and the Manager does not care. I truly hate it here!!!!

I contacted the office to get more information about the apartment homes and a lady answered the phone by the name of Tia. She completely rushed me off the phone, I could barely ask any of my questions, she was talking over me, and wouldn’t even allow me to finish some questions. As a person on the market looking for an apartment professionalism is everything and it was NOT demonstrated what so ever.

I've been living here 3 years and I promised this is it!!!! You pay for what you get is true. Management does not take care of landscape and breezeway. They only take care of model unit. Only a few apartments are renovated so make sure you ask for a renovated unit. Please make your last choice or move in 500 building.

They act like they care and want you live there, then you start moving in and see a family of roaches!!!! When we told the manager he acted like her knew the whole time and that it was normal. Gross gross gross. Neighbors knew about the problem and said they are having issues as well.

Pros: nice upgraded features in some floorplans, quiet for the "most part" Close to I-20, for the price pretty decent space. Cons: management can be slow at times, crime i.e shooting, domestic disputes etc. no washer/dryer or dish washer in some units. Overall, I think the apartments are pretty nice for the price and the area. If you get an upgraded one, you'll have nicer features like granite countertops and custom color. I have a studio, but it has a door so it doesn't feel like one. It doesn't come with washer/dryer connections or a dishwasher and the closet is really small. Despite all that, I loved them until I had to deal with suspect neighbors and a shooting a couple doors down. I mean it isn't Buckhead, but for the price they are the better looking apartments compared to other ones for the same price in that area. Also, I never dealt with a pest issue while I was there.

An ok place to live. I like the convience to the highway, restaurants and Quick Trip. Only a few apartments have been remodeled with new cabinets, flooring, and applicances. They could take better care of the grounds and landscaping.

The Reserve, located in Lithonia Georgia, is an overall decent complex...it's very quiet and I feel very safe living here....I've been living here for 3 years now and I haven't had any major issues...the apartments are pretty old/outdated and the complex amenities are lacking or could be considered mediocre at best... management has changed many times over the past few years but I must say the latest crew has been the best...repairs are done quickly, the grounds are maintained and the office staff is very professional...the best thing about living in The Reserve is the convienient location...its located by lots of restaurants, grocery stores, a hospital, the expressway, and Stonecrest mall is only a few minutes away...I would recommend these apartments to someone who is living on their own for the first time who wants to stay in Lithonia on a reasonable budget...

This community is not as nice as it may seem. I have lived at this community since August. My experience has been horrible. The apartments look nothing like the model as far as the amenities they are not fully functional. Office staff is respectful but non-responsive to issues or even phone calls. Water and plumbing problems. There were leaks and sewage backup problems and for months I did not have water during business hours. I have had many maintenance issues that are still unresolved to date as of June. If I were not under contract with a lease agreement I would have moved away within days. The swimming pool and laundry facilities are closed due to construction that has lasted for more than 6 months. Good Luck but keep searching. This property is overrated.
