Last minute notifications (such as a late Thursday evening text to say the complex is sold and resident portal will close THE NEXT DAY with no information on how to make sure rent payments are set up for next month) are poor management, rude, and leave a sour taste for whoever did buy the complex…

Pretty decent apartment, nice location. Amenities are nice as well and staff is very helpful. Tent is not too bad here. We’ve been here for two months now and we love it.

Horrible smell coming out of the sink. It was Sulphur in the water. We were told to flush the water tank and that should resolve the problem, but it still is producing that horrible smell. I understand there are multiple residents who are experiencing the same issue. I feel that the Leasing office should have disclosed this problem prior to us signing the rental agreement. Let us make that decision if we wanted to live with that SMELL or not. The stairs are extremely dirty. I am ashamed to have anyone visit. I requested for someone to clean the stairs and it took about 3 weeks to respond and then they did a horrible job at what you would call pressure washing. We are paying luxury prices to live here and I feel that they can do a better job at making the property into what they boast about it on their website. "When it comes to luxury living in Jacksonville, The Point at Tamaya offers its residents an unmatched life style." Be accountable, and stand by what you say!!!

I only have great things to say about this community. The workers are wonderful. They really care about their work and the community. The maintenance workers are always on point. The front office and administrative staff and are always in communication with the tenants. The tenants are very friendly and look out for one another. The community is within minutes of beaches, shopping centers and malls. If you’re looking for a true sense of community, look no further. I highly recommend The Point of Tamaya.

It’s been good so far. The windows let in a lot of noise, but it also lets me hear the water fountain. Staff is great. Trash valet is also nice. Very informative on what’s going on. Great engagement opportunities.

Regarding the issue with trash collection on weekends, we do offer valet trash services from Sunday to Thursday. It's mentioned during the move-in process to ensure all residents are aware of this schedule. While we aim to accommodate our residents' needs to the best of our ability, unfortunately, we do not have pick-ups on Fridays and Saturdays. As for the frequent texts about community events and activities, we apologize if these communications feel excessive. We understand that preferences may vary, and you are more than welcome to opt out of receiving these messages at any time. Please let us know if you would like to adjust your notification. We take your concerns about maintenance and rent pricing seriously. Our goal is to provide consistent and reliable maintenance services, and we apologize for any inconsistencies you may have experienced. I just moved down here about a month ago looking for a nice place to live. I have learned how to take care of myself through this place. It is very quiet and the privacy is wonderful. I am very satisfied with my move in experience and the shared spaces by the pool area are a great place to take your guests!

I found home! Love the community here at the Point of Tamaya. The rental process is very easy. Staff is wonderful and very helpful. I spent a ton of time looking at different communities and while they all had similarities on price/amenities, it was the staff that made my decision for me. People and customer service will always be the difference!

I love the community. It’s really nice and I feel mainly safe. It’s close to the beach which we love but we are also pool girls. We go to the pool quite often so I would like it to be more clean for my baby.
