The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Pines Apartments
I DO NOT recommend living at The Pines. I unfortunately lived here for 8 years and just recently moved out. Here are just a few highlights of our stay: -FREQUENT car break ins. This happened since the beginning and never got better. Actually was getting worse. You can't even slip up one night and forget to lock your car because there is a 100% chance your car will be rummaged through. It almost like people walk around the parking lot at night and check each doorknob. Someone actually walked on top of our car once and broke our windshield and we had our license plate stolen as well. Thousands of dollars worth of fishing and boxing gear stolen from our car. Business office was notified and as always we were just told to called the police to make a report. I have a best friend who lived at The Pines and their vehicles would also get broken into. -Mailbox was broken into. -Sewer problems (they kept trying to blame me for flushing women hygiene products although I was pregnant and not using any). They would also try to blame me for my hair clogging the bathtub drain and I have never used said bathtub. -Living in a basement level apartment and everyone above you's garbage disposal and sink residues backing up and flooding your kitchen. This happened so often that the wood below our sink was rotted to the point where little bugs lived on the wood. -Moving out after living here 8 years we were charged over $2,000 to replace the carpet, repaint the walls etc. These things should have already been expected to have to be replaced after someone lived here for 8 years. The apartment complex wouldn't even lower the amount for regular wear and tear considering we lived here for over 8 years.e paid over $65k to these apartments in the past 8 years and when you move out they still try to come after you for more. -Kids Bikes were "stolen" from under our stairs. After calling the office b/c the kids couldn't stop crying it was discovered that the apartment complex had taken them and placed them in a garage b/c they didn't know anyone lived there and thought the previous tenants had left the bikes behind (we had lived here for 6 years at that point). Do yourself a favor and don't move here. One of the 5 star reviews was left by a previous office manager I am guessing to up their rating. This apartment complex is greedy and does not take accountability for any issues as I'm sure you can tell by their response to previous negative reviews.
As a young adult, I have lived at many different apartment complexes in many different cities, but none of them have had the charm of The Pines. The staff is wonderful and they really do make you feel like you are part of a family. I have never had any problems here and I have chosen on multiple occasions to come back to this complex.
