Property Ratings at The Parker Apartment Homes
These apartments are awful.... the only pro is the location so close to the highway. Full disclosure, I did take over someone's lease and they had been there for a couple years at the point when I took over for them, so I can't speak to how the apartments look when they switch over to a completely new tenant. But I will say that the apartment I was in looks nothing like the pictures, like not even CLOSE. The appliances are so cheap, the toilet would get clogged super easily, the windows/doors are not sealed properly so bugs get in constantly, and the walls are SUPER thin. On top of all of that, the built in bathroom cabinets had to be replaced because they were completely rotted out from water damage. It took forever to get someone out there, and when they did finally come out, they replaced the built in cabinets with just a cheap free standing they got from Lowe's. Then, it was a whole new fight to get them to come BACK because after they put the new cabinet in, they left the floor missing where the built ins were. and THEN, they replaced the floor where the cabinets were with a completely different type of vinyl than the rest of the bathroom which looked even worse. I had to call them back ANOTHER time to get at least the whole bathroom the same flooring so it wouldn't look as bad, but it still looked sooo trashy at the end. The bathtub finish was almost completely peeled off, paint was chipping, the floors were warped from what I assume was water damage that was never addressed.... Thankfully, I didn't see any bedbugs in my (short) stay, but given every other thing about this place I believe the reviews that say there were bedbugs. The parking lot sucks, the pool smells like pee, and the apartments are literally falling apart. Don't rent here!!!!

Bed bugs, no where to park, cheap work, everything breaks , AND ROACH INFESTED they spray for bug yet they are badly infested
Management is horrible. Mercedes is always rude and snappy. Pool is never open and the one day it is, its nasty and unclean. I've heard multiple people say they have bed bugs some how. Craftsmen ship inside apartments is super cheap. Not worth the money. Drug paraphernalia in the kids park

I just moved into this community and my experience so far has been wonderful. The residents are nice and friendly. The people in the office go out of their way to be helpful. Being physically disabled, I was a little worried about moving into an apartment but the folks here have been very accommodating and welcoming!!! My apartment has wide doorways and roomy bathrooms to fit my wheelchair. Great place to call home!

I highly recommend The Parker Apartment Homes. These were our first choice for living as we were moving from out of state and the complex looked so inviting and the reviews were great for families! The process was so simple as Janelle and Kayla answered ALL our questions from measurements of the rooms and living spaces, to the area around etc. I’ve never had such amazing customer service even though I know we probably bugged them more than ever. Janelle helped me find storage units, helped us with our application difficulties and were always there. From the community contests, to the pool parties and including animals as family, I couldn’t be more excited that we get to call this place home.

I've been living here for a year and a half and the staff has changed constantly. Jeff is the main manager and I hardly ever see him. The staff always acts really nice but they hardly get anything actually done for the residents, they are obsessed with increasing the property value. My biggest complaint is the bug problems in the buildings. They are everywhere! And impossible too get rid of
I have enjoyed my stay here. They have routine pest control which is nice, security, and a nice pool and hot tub. Fitness area is great and the staff is nice. I love the maintenance crew! I would recommend to a friend!

I love living here. Its quite for the most part. The grounds are really pretty. I love how they keep up everything. The maintenance guys are really nice and everyone in the office is as sweet and helpful as can be. I have had no issues with any parking or bugs of any kind as a few of the reviews have stated. I have lived here for 4 months now. Excited for the pool to open. My dogs love the dog park as well.

Living here has been wonderful. A safe and friendly neighbor hood thats not too loud, with management thats always happy to help. The rooms are nice and any issues you might have the maintenance team will take carer of.

My initial response to living here was not good but the staff is amazing and will get your issues fixed ASAP. Problems I had were loud neighbors and kids running around unattended, trash under stairways and on the grounds along with dog poop not being picked up, people speeding through parking lot and upstairs neighbors with dogs that wouldn't shut up. Since I moved in a little less than a year ago, they have corrected all of these things for the most part. Also, maintenance is very quick to attend to your problems inside your apartment. People that live here don't seem to care but that isn't the staff's problem. Good thing about this place is that its under new management and they are correcting all of these issues and getting people into these apartments that care about the living arrangement and surroundings. Just taking some time. Also get a garage because parking is an issue. Wish I had an automatic garage but they don't have any available. Pros: Great staff (Janelle, Kaylyn and Jeff), nice modern apts (you have to ask for a newly remodeled one or you wont get it), great tennant interaction (parties, contests, etc), great maintenance (Ian), they will listen to your concerns and work to correct them, refinished parking lot Cons: Loud neighbors and kids, dog poop and trash on grounds, parking is an issue. Update: Still loud kids with no parents around and now people in the pool late at night being very loud. I had to call security

We appreciate your review and we try our best to anticipate any issues that may arise here at The Parker. With that being said, we have signed a new contract for a new Courtesy Patrol to respond to any issues that may arise with noise disturbances and parking issues. We hope to stay ahead of the game with strict pool enforcement once the pool opens to eliminate any noise issues. We have recently hired a full maintenance team who are working diligently on the overall appearance of our community and removal of dog feces. Our gates will be fully operational on Monday which we hope will deter some of the driving concerns you have mentioned. Please let us know if we may be of additional assistance.
Great place for families and UCO students! Close to all of the shopping on Broadway as well.

DO NOT BELIEVE THESE REVIEWS. DO NOT LIVE HERE. Please please please do your research on other websites about this disgusting, terrible place. Just a few words. Roaches, bad management, terrible maintenance, roaches (yes I meant to put this twice), mold. Don’t make the same mistake I did. I can’t wait until the lease is over. I should file a breach of contract because this is not a safe environment to be living in. Luckily I don’t have kids or they might be subject to the dangers of mold and a roach infestation. Stop forcing us to empty our cabinets EVERY month. Whatever spray is used isn’t working! This place needs to be shut down and demolished. Maybe then, the roaches will go away :)

Management is kind upon move in but after are extremely rude. Issues must be mention to them multiple before being fixed. Advertised as gated community but gates do not work and management has made it clear that it will not be fixed. Parking is over crowded and sometime have to park on opposite side of complex. I've also had my vehicle stolen from the lot. I had my motorcycle in a garage, Now being my only transportation to work, and the lock broke and and they said they could not fix till later in week. My girl friend lived in same complex and her unit was burglarized and managment showed same lack of empathy and urgency to install measure to prevent it again.

Parking is a bit tight, but spring for the garage and this isn’t an issue. Staff is fantastic, maintenance issues get resolved quickly when you submit them through their internet portal. Do yourself a favor and check out one of the best values in Edmond.

I would give these apartments zero stars if I could. The parking is horrible, there are cars blocking others garages, garbage underneath the staircases that have been there for 2 weeks now, gutters falling off the roof onto balconies, the building are falling apart. I'm not sure if they are doing the proper screening on some of these people that move in. Walk outside and all I can smell is marijuana in the breezeway. The police are visiting this property on a daily bases. There are pop holes in the roads that have been there for months.I no longer feel safe in this environment and my daughter and I will be moving out SOON. I've been a resident here for years and I've never seen it in this bad of shape. I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone.

Building structure horrible! If you don't mind hearing every step upstairs neighbors and their KIDS make for 12 months, then this is the perfect place for you. You can hear everything going on outside, people going up/down stairs, the walls are so thin. There's not enough parking and you get ticketed if you park anywhere else. Upstairs flooded and leaked into my apt several times. Plus get ready to be harassed by their on-site police officers. They make you remove everything from all cabinets and closets for pest spraying but only give you 24-48 hours notice, hope you don't have any plans or get ready to be fined.
I just moved in and so far this apartment is perfect for me. It's a good size, comfortable, and the community is quiet for the most part. There is a nice swimming pool and workout facility. It's close to my university, so I find it quite suitable.
I love my apartment and my service here. And I am broke and work full time and take 18 hours of schooling. Please help me.
