Situated a few miles west of the University of Florida, West Gainesville is the neighborhood where retail, residential, and rural collide. West Gainesville conveniently borders State Route 24, which provides easy access to other areas as well as massive retail centers. Celebration Pointe, Butler Plaza, and their surrounding plazas are all located along this road. If you’re searching for outdoor adventures, you’ll find it in town at Split Rock Conservation Area and Clear Lake Nature Park. The other parts of West Gainesville are made up of residential neighborhoods holding an array of affordable apartments.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Park
The office never returns your call. They have stopped responding to maintenance requests. It also appears as though pest control no longer comes out. Roslyfe Management is the absolute worst!
Unfortunately, this apartment offers little value to the residents. There is no way to communicate with the office—neither by email nor phone. You can only reach the management before signing the contract; afterward, they almost disappear.
I've lived here since 2015.l and management has changed a number of times, so has ownership. Parking is good and maintenance is pretty good at responding to and repairing things, especially being short staff as they are. It's safe. Overall, the property is in good shape, besides the stairs needing to be repaired. New management(Roselyfe) has taken over but the lack of communication still exists: no response to emails or phone calls, and the office is always closed. Apparently I'm not the only one who has run into this issue. Pest control suddenly stopped coming, so I wanted to inquire about that yet no way of connecting with property management. I can't recommend right now.
Overall a negative experience living here so far. A primary issue is the lack of utilities. The on site laundry room is disgustingly kept. The floor is filthy as well as the washer/dryer units, it seems as if it has not been cleaned in 6 months. They are also extremely overpriced. $2.75 per individual load for a dirty unit that leaves clothes tattered and probably no cleaner than before. Secondly is the issue of rent payments. Paying monthly rent has been extremely difficult and frustrating. We are encouraged to use the online portal, however from day one I have not been able to log in to my account on a poorly designed website. The office and manager offer no help as it is a third party company in charge of the rent portal. We now have to purchase money orders at the local grocery store. The units themselves are overpriced, they may be “renovated” but this is just the bare minimum, cheapest cover-up job they can do. Everything in the apartment is cheap and flimsy, a toy kitchen oven and explosive smoke alarm system causes daily frustration. All in all I feel as if management here cares very little about its residents and only about their profit. Don’t let the new landscaping, community name, and paint job fool you.
I have stayed at several properties in Gainesville and this is the best by far. Quiet neighborhood, maintenance is quick and friendly and office staff is professional and helpful, parking has never been an issue. Only con is laundry facility but that is being upgraded soon from what I hear
Great property in a great location. Office manager, Cherie, is an absolute pleasure to do business with. I would recommend this property to anyone.
This is a quiet neighborhood in a good location. Apartments have great space inside. The apartments could use newer appliances and air units. Also, lights inside near the sign to help at night.
