Southside Flats is one of two neighborhoods that make up Pittsburgh's dynamic Southside. The primarily residential neighborhood is located at the base Mount Washington, Southside's enormous hill. It also sits right under the Southside Slopes, the other Southside neighborhood, which runs precariously up the hillside. Residents of the Flats have convenient access to the hottest shopping and nightlife district in Pittsburgh, as well as riverfront trails and parks.
The lively neighborhood lies south of the Monongahela River and south of East Carson Street, known as the "Great American Main Street." One of Pittsburgh's major commercial corridors, East Carson Street offers 15 blocks of Victorian architecture, boutiques, restaurants, bars, art galleries, theatres, and live music venues.
Southside has experienced a residential renaissance, as older 19th-century homes, abandoned factories, and mills are being renovated into modern houses, apartments, and luxury lofts.

I have been living at The Park for just over a year now and have absolutely been loving it! The building is brand new with tons of modern features, making it feel luxurious. Staff is super friendly and always has fun resident events to attend! One of my favorite things about the community is the walkability. Everything you could need is within walking distance: including Aldi, a wide variety of restaurants, multiple coffee shops, and SO much more. It is also located directly by the Three Rivers Heritage Trail that connects to so many locations throughout Pittsburgh - which is extremely convenient. Overall, I have loved my experience and just renewed!

As a resident at The Park, I would give an overall rating of 9 out of 10. It is one of the newer buildings in Pittsburgh and offers a lot to young professionals, older professionals, and retirees. The location, amenities, excellent management team, and overall vibe of the building are all outstanding. The walkability is excellent, and there is plenty to do in the surrounding area.

We have a beautiful unit at the Park with an abundance of windows and an amazing view. The staff is highly responsive and very friendly. The building is generally quite quiet. The neighborhood is a treat. We have survived without a car because there are so many amenities within walking distance.

It’s been seven months since I moved into The Park Apartments. What I enjoy most is the cleanliness of the building, the immediate response to concerns or questions, and the comfort of my apartment. My experience so far living at The Park has been positive. The neighborhood, walkability, restaurants, and activities are truly all a plus to living here. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a residence with great amenities, wonderful staff, a safe neighborhood, and beautiful views of the city. While the cost is a bit more than I would prefer to pay, you definitely get your money’s worth.

I can't say enough great things about The Park Apartments! From the moment I moved in, I've been impressed by the exceptional amenities, friendly staff, and the vibrant neighborhood. The amenities are absolutely exceptional—they're always clean and well-maintained. Each area has breathtaking river views. Whether it’s the recreation lounge, the modern gym, or the relaxing outdoor spaces, there’s something for everyone. The staff here truly go above and beyond. I have lived at The Park for a few months now and truly love being here in the Southside. The views from the building of the water make you feel like you aren't even in Pittsburgh. The Staff has been so helpful to everything I have needed since day one. When I was moving from out of state, I looked at so many different places. The Park is the only one that followed up with me every step of the process and made sure I felt comfortable making such a big decision. I love being able to take my dog to the community dog park right out the front door or even grabbing a drink after work at Pins. So grateful to be able to call The Park home.
