Move in was easy, office administration was friendly and helpful, and when my porch light burnt out, it got fixed the next day. A dream compared to where I moved from and I really appreciate how easy it is to reach someone.
Great communication, easy move in, and even better location! I have only lived here for a couple of days but can proudly say that the community is kind, and made me feel at home!

The Northside apartments have a great location near downtown, and tons of natural light in at least my unit. The maintenance team is very responsive.
Great place to live, close to most things in Asheville. Amenities are nice and well kept. People who work here are friendly and nice. Downside is that your rent is raised every year you live here.
These apartments here are very nice. They have beautiful wood flooring and they have many windows to provide natural light in the apartment.
I think this apartment complex is a great place with a lot of great amenities. Highly recommend among places to live. Pet friendly was the biggest seller for myself

just moved in and we love our unit! working with beth was great and we're really happy with the price, location and size. bathroom could be bigger but that's a fair trade for the bright large other rooms and beautiful original hardwoods!

Clean and quiet. Comfy place in an amazing area! We just moved in so not too much to say, but we are looking forward to this adventure. Maintenance is also very fast. Just limited storage in unit is the only complaint so far.

I love my apartment! It is extremely comfortable and charming. I love the staff, they are very kind. The neighborhood feels like a community where everyone smiles & waves & knows each other. Very homey :)
Awesome place to live - friendly staff and neighbors, convenient location, new amenities. We’ve only had a couple maintenance issues, and both times, the issue was fixed within that same day.
Nice staff members, great maintenance that is quick to address any issues in our home! There are also fun residential events to bring our little community together!
Excellent maintenance, comfortable apartment though updates would be nice. Entry stoops need better handrails and steps. Management is easy to work with.

I love living here! Awesome community, friendly and diligent staff, great location. Nice gym, small dog park, billiards room, fun events at the clubhouse. Rent isn’t the cheapest you’ll find, but it’s not terribly expensive either.

The staff at Northside are super nice, very helpful and have many amenities like outdoor BBQ, it's pet friendly as well. Our neighbors are polite and very quiet and overall experience is very enjoyable

Just moved here. Big upgrade from last apartment. Maintenance and front are very kind. Love that i’m able to walk to nearby stores like CVS. Also, love the coffee bar.

Location is great! I wish the renovations were done with a higher standard. They definitely cut some corners. At this price point, I would expect more.

Living here has been lovely! I have kind neighbors, a quiet neighborhood and lots to explore in the area. So close to downtown but still having all the perks of WNC, you really can’t complain!
Highly recommend Northside at Merrimon. I think the best location around! Can walk to downtown (little over mile) or to several local spots for groceries, coffee, beer, best frozen custard, best pizza, and the list goes on. Love the townhouses with a front and back door to the outside and hardwood floors! Feels like home!!

Love living at The Northside at Merrimon. There is historic charm in every corner you look! Amazing hardwood floors, washer/dryer, fitness facility and business center too! Maintenance is wonderful and the folks in the office are super helpful too!
Office staff is the opposite of helpful. I was threatened by my neighbor who has had complaints before and has broken his contract on multiple accounts and they did nothing but offer us a more expensive apartment that we could move into after 6 weeks of living next to a violent man. They also charged me 600$ for a service I didn't ask for and refuse to pay it and have refused to fix our washer.
This is my first apartment, first time moving off campus too. I am loving it so far. I am about to start my last year as an undergrad. I am at the end of my "education fund" so it's going to be tight lasting until the end of this lease, but it will be worth it. My apartment building was built in the 1940s which gives it age and character, although the small door made it hard to fit the couch in. It's small but not too small. The people who work here are extremely helpful and gracious, I don't feel like I will be having problems with them at all. Parking is great, although I am used to fighting for a spot on campus so I am easy to please. The location is great for students because campus is walkable, bike-able, obviously drive-able and there is a shuttle that runs through the neighborhood. In my area of the complex there is a fire pit/ outdoor area, a dumpster and recycling bin. Right across the street is many food options, including The Hop ice cream shop... it's very dangerous... For what we are paying, we are getting plenty in return.
