The Northern is an amazing complex and truly resort style living! I am so happy I live here. I am in a furnished apartment that is clean, has beautiful furniture and in a locked/secure building above retail. I love that there is retail on site and so many amenities like the pool, the clubhouse, the gym. There is also an Amazon locker here which makes receiving packages easy. The management is great and responsive, I love the different events they put on.

I enjoy the staff they do a great job. High turnover but they do great. The construction is far below par and have ran into many issues with noise, appliances and air quality due to appliance malfunction and installation

Great experience at the Northern! The leasing and management team made our move-in seamless and very easy, and everyone was friendly and helpful. The units have great layouts and the facilities and grounds are very clean and well maintained. The gym is great and has everything you need. We loved our experience here!

The Northern apartments are nice! There is much to do and see here. Luke showed me around and I couldn't believe how nice everything was and all the things there are to do here. The pool, the gym, a heated outdoor bbq to chill with friends at, and the awesome dog Community are only some of the things I looked forward to enjoying. Luke was very kind and able to help me with all the questions I had. I also met and spoke to another management member, Desirae. She was incredibly nice and answered some of my questions as well. The staff around here is very welcoming!

The Northern is such a wonderful place with an excellent environment. The amenities it has to offer are quite lovely and everything is well kept! The staff is always willing to help you with any of your needs. Getting In touch with the leasing office was so easy! Luke was amazing and helped answer so many of my questions. He had a wonderful personality and made me feel so welcomed. I was able to meet a few other staff members in passing, Desirae and Tony. They always had a smile on their faces and asked if I needed help with anything.

Beautiful pet friendly lawns with ready access to paved walking and biking, community rules maintain a lovely family friendly environment. The staff and Luke especially make the office a welcoming place. I highly recommend these apartments! Very efficient heating and cooling systems keep the electricity bill low!

I’ve never written a bad review before. But I feel like something needs to be said about the management’s poor communication, unprofessionalism, and lack of empathy towards their own tenants. I’ll share my experience this past weekend along with eight other people who unfortunately had their vehicles towed and lost $600. As most of you already know, the parking situation at the northern is terrible. You get one assigned spot per unit. And the guest parking is very limited. There’s a small circle that can fit about eight to ten vehicles along the curb where my girlfriend lives. She has been living here for seven months and we have never seen a vehicle get towed there. Now if you don’t want vehicles parking at the circle, there are quick and easy preventable steps that should’ve been taken. Instead, management decided that calling a tow truck without ZERO warning on eight of their own tenants was the best approach. Heres some examples of what should’ve been brought to action. 1. Write a quick email to all tenants stating that all vehicles need to be moved from the circle. It takes five minutes 2. Put out some cones at the circle in the afternoon so people know not to park there when they get home from work. It’s cheap and takes 3 minutes 3. Knock on tenants doors to let them know that their vehicles will be towed if they don’t move them. It takes ten minutes Giving a minimum 24 hour notice goes a long way. It lets people not only be better prepared but it also lets people know that you care. These people do not care. The manager was silent and stared at his laptop when we gave him a chance to make this right. A lady in the office recommended that we park on the opposite side of the northern which would equate to about a ten minute walk to the unit. There are so many more issues with this place that I won’t dive into. But as of now, I would recommend that people do their research before they sign a lease to this place. Only when they fix their issues would I recommend this place to others Let’s be more kind towards our fellow Americans and neighbors

I came to The Northern at Coeur d'Alene Place desperate to find my mother a safe place after some unfortunate circumstances. The staff was compassionate, professional, and ready to meet our unique needs. They responded to the situation clearly and very qui. I did not anticipate living in an apartment after I recently sold my home, I thought the Northern would just be a temporary situation, but I am enjoying the lifestyle and amenities and friendly staff so much that I have decided to make this my home.

Not a bad place to live at all. My only real issues are that the walls and ceilings are a little thin, and there are a *lot* of dogs around, but that's it. Everything else works great and I have no serious complaints with management or the property. The only other thing to note is that the bus routes in the city stop right by the campus, but they only go North at that stop, meaning its impractical to take the bus to downtown without a 30 minute detour to Hayden.

Staff is unhelpful and least friendly to work with on finding resolution to dealing with loud and obnoxious neighbors. The cost of living here should reflect a helpful staff to try to accommodate or provide a more enjoyable living environment for all people. There resolution is to upscale the cost of living to us by not allowing us to transfer to another apt with a lock in price of our lease nor will they try to speak to our neighbors.

I love the Northern at coer d' Alene our apt is pretty and cozy, I live the sense of community here. Residents ranging from young singles to young families and people of all ages,. Love that there is a community garden and barbecues you. An use. Lots of nice amenities. Last week they showed a movie outside and had music and a food truck and popcorn. Love the spacious master bedroom and walk in closet. It's a nice place to come home to everyday after work!

This place is clean; well managed and maintained. Staff is attentive and listens to concerns - and there are few concerns. Landscaping is pleasant. Parking a vehicle can be problematic if you don't pay for covered parking or a garage.
I love living in this community. The property is maintained very well and the amenities are great.
