Located directly across the bay from San Francisco, Downtown Oakland extends from 12th Street north to Grand Avenue. It includes Lincoln University, several bank headquarters, a variety of restaurants, shops, and theaters. The historic Fox Theater and the art deco Paramount Theatre both offer live performances. Sports fans head to the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum to cheer on the NFL's Oakland Raiders and to the Oracle Arena to cheer the NBA's Golden State Warriors.
Oakland's "main street" is Broadway, which extends from 8th Street to 17th Street. Leasing team were very courteous and helpful. The complex is very quiet and full of amenities. The location is very close to BART and safe to walk. Dog park is less than a 5-minute walk. I love it!

Great building, terrible management. It's nearly impossible to get any information out of Shantel, the current property manager. We have sent in many emails, over the course of several weeks, and never had a single response. Not one. We've had to visit her in person 4 times to start to get a repair for an issue that has been here since we moved in FOUR MONTHS ago. Thank goodness it's a minor problem and not severe. I have absolutely no faith that emergency issues would be handled well. Our trash has been overflowing and poorly managed during this entire time as well. That said, the building is still pretty new so the amenities are nice, the walls are thick and don't leak sound much. It could be a truly lovely complex that deserves 5 stars if the management was better. But at the price point The Moran charges, I expect better. It shouldn't be this hard to communicate about real issues.
