Property Ratings at The Metro Apartments
We lived at Metro for many years, long before The Battery was even built. There has been at least 4 different management companies during our time there with the current management being the absolute worst we have seen not only at Metro but any apartment complex. Anyone who has lived at this complex for a long time surely can attest to how much this management group has destroyed the essence at Metro. They are very money hungry, almost to an immoral level. When they first arrived, it was nearly time to renew our lease, they unapologetically raised rental prices upwards of $400+ without notice for my elderly mother who is in her mid 70s. I have never seen such an abrupt increase in my entire life. According to them, this was in line with the market value of the area. However, make no mistake, these apartments are very OLD and no improvements to the apartments were made to make them in any way comparable to the brand new complexes in the area. These increases caused many people to have to leave their homes. We were also shocked to read the new property manager’s first email to residents…it was cold, unwelcoming and threatened evictions. We have since moved from here and are so incredibly happy to be gone. It is not the same place we fell in love with so many years ago and we would now never recommend these apartments to anyone especially when there are so many brand new alternatives in the area. If you are considering this complex, just know that this management team does not care about its residents.

DONT MOVE HERE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! I have been here about 8 months and this was the worst decision I have ever made in my life. Office staff is IMPOSSIBLE to contact. I honestly don't think anyone is even in the office. We pay $25.00 a month for valet trash and they come maybe twice a week. If you have packages delivered here THEY WILL GET STOLEN. We have a locker room WITH LOCKERS for packages but they just throw all your items in a pile in the corner of the unlocked room that is open 24 hours. Free for thieves to just take all our stuff. And management could care less. Apartments are expensive but soooo not worth it. They are old. And appliances barely work. Do your self a favor and RUN like forest gump!
Great place to live with plenty of amenities. Close to everything and interstates.

Choosing Metro as my home turned out to be the best decision I made upon moving to Atlanta. The community is small and peaceful but the apartment affords all of the luxuries of a large complex; plus, its nestled into a beautiful area in Cumberland close to The Battery.

We have the most thoughtful and friendly manager. Preston is the kind of manager every tenant hope for when living an apartment community. When you have a good manager and maintenance team most tenants will be long term residents. I would advise getting the trash situation under control fast, and sprucing up areas for the amount of rent that is being charged for the apartment. The door underneath the pool is rusted out, its a sight for sore eye and very dangerous.

The Metro Apartments are quiet and most of the are people generally friendly. One of the impressive thing to me is our apartment manager Preston. He is a rare individual, good at his job, friendly and never to busy to listen. He even walk the property, this really impressed me. I think we have a winning team at "The Metro"

DO NOT LEASE AN APARTMENT HERE. Our apartment was infested with bed bugs. They refused to let us out of lease or replace our belongings that we had to throw out. They ignored our calls and act as if they don't care. Having to hire legal counsel for bodily injury and property damage from the bed bugs. TERRIBLE PLACE. TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT

Really enjoy the staff and the atmosphere
Amazing community but horrible maintenance team.
My emails are rarely answered by the front office. I have had several issues since moving in that I was told would get fixed but are not getting fixed. I can hear EVERYTHING my upstairs neighbors are doing. The tennis courts are closed and now the pool is closed. I will not be recommending this place to anyone. Counting down the days till I can leave!

We need to ensure that dogs are not left unattended during the night hours. The barking keeps people awake in the night.
My experience here has not been the best due to the noise I have to deal with daily from the tenets above and the faulty air unit in my apt.
My experience thus far has been good. I was very impressed with the professionalism and assistance received from the leasing office.
I've been here for almost 3 years, and LOVED the former management. Since the new management came in, they raised the prices by more than $200 per month and lowered the service to zero. I love Ronaldo and Vince- they are extremely helpful. However, most calls and other communications are not returned. They went from 3 maintenance staff to one so you can imagine. In the last 2 weeks, they've closed the pool "until further notice" for the second year in a row and closed access to a parking structure. I get home from work around midnight and have a very hard time finding parking. The puppy potty spot isn't stocked with bags anymore. There is a lake behind my building that used to have the fountains on from March-Oct, but after repeated attempts and requests to turn them on, it's July and they still aren't on. The apartment itself is adequate; it was renovated before I moved in. There isn't much storage space so that an issue. I thought that the lack of landscaping was due to the place being new when I arrived, but 3 years later, still no decorative flowers or bushes in front of the buildings. I won't be renewing my lease.

I've been living here for almost 3 years as long as Renaldo and Montechia are in the leasing office I won't leave. When they leave I leave. I've never lived at a property where the whole team was AMAZING. I don't plan on leaving here no time soon. I love Metro!

Metro Aparements have provided an amazing experience location wise for me in work and school purposes. As a resident, I am surrounded by many of my necessities and entertainment options such as the Braves stadium! Unfortunately, my apartment was not considered move in ready due to a missing washer/dryer unit, large visible paint stains on the restroom walls and a huge rust stain in kitchen sink. These are items that I believe could and should have been prevented. Almost a week later and only one has been resolved. Hoping and looking forward to feeling like more of a value as resident in attentive service to all concerns.
I am exceptionally please with my recent move into Metro Apts. I have not been here a full week yet but I am sure my feelings wont change the longer I am here!

I looked at dozens of communities in this area and nothing else came close to the quality, convenience and asethitics that the Metro Apartments offered. Combine that with the helpfulness of the staff and community amenities that made this property the best place for me to call home.
