Don't live here, it's a miserable place. The amenities aren't kept up, the crowd parties constantly, and the people running the place are really unpleasant to deal with. The price isn't worth the way you're treated.

The Marlowe is NOT a resident-friendly apartment complex. The office staff is absolutely rude at times and totally unresponsive. My dog has accidentally made a couple of scratches on the walls, and I asked the office for some paint. They said they would bring it to my door, but they never did. Sadly, I had to remind them again and again, to no avail. At the end of my two-year lease, I asked the office if they would charge me for the wall damages that I was willing to repair; they told me not to worry and that they wouldn't charge for things like that. So, I was SHOCKED to find out that I had been charged an outrageous amount for something I could have fixed myself for less than $10. Money-hungry places like Marlowe make me sick.

Luxury only on the surface, but hardly a luxurious experience living here. I echo other reviewers' frustrations with the office and their odd rules. For example, I am not able to bring more than two guests with me to the rooftop pool. They would fine you, and those fines are not cheap! You'd think they have enough money to hire cleaning services to come regularly and clean the pool, especially with the many young tenants paying insane rent prices! This is just another business that tries to trap you and drain your money as much as they can.

Super great amenities with easy access to the lake. Super dog friendly.
Constant break ins, building not secure. Management blames residents for issues and does not address anything. Construction is awful. Slopped walls and doors.
Pros: -location -build amenities Cons: -Building is getting robbed weekly (cars stolen, apartments broken into) and the ownership ignores the residents and tells them to make sure to lock their door -doors can be opened with a credit card -management is rude, unresponsive, and has serious turn over problems -for the price, this is not worth it. There are way better options in Austin. Steer clear!
