More than one floor now has Air BNBs and it has completely changed my time here in The Louisa. Lots of traffic all night, parties, loud music, constant pot smoke and loose dogs. And sure, one can complain, and they can “send a warning” - but there’s new people the next weekend. I do not recommend it here and I used to. I like my apartment a lot but not what’s become of my floor.

The Louisa is in a perfect location within walking distance of some of the best that Portland has to offer. The floor plans are far more spacious than square footage would indicate. From my side of the building, the views of downtown and hills are spectacular.

I absolutely love my apartment at the Louisa. The layout and flooring and new details are amazing. The colors for the walls and countertops are exactly what I would pick and match my furniture well. I just wish they had a gym in the building for residents to use on days when the weather is bad and you just want to do a treadmill or elliptical etc.

I am so happy to be at the Louisa. It is one of the best places I have ever lived. I moved to the Louisa 2 months ago and could not be happier. The staff makes it - Allison, Billy, Elizabeth and Suzette are amazing. They are always friendly, helpful and cheery. The women and men that maintain the building are the same way. Friendly, helpful and responsive. For me, the team of people who work at the Louisa make it such a special place to live. The Louisa itself is located in the prime location in the Pearl. The lobby is beautifully designed and the music makes me immediately feel I am in a special place. Again, so different than other rental properties in the Pearl. The location has lots of fun things to do around the clock, but it is also safe walking around even in the late hours of the night.
The Louisa is the best place to live in Portland. You truly feel a sense of community and that your every need is met.
I lived at The Louisa for two years and I must say, the service is awesome! Concierge Elizabeth especially. She consistently went above and beyond to make residents feel welcomed, at home and supported. She was awesome!! My other favorite aspect of the building was how quiet it was! For being in the heart of the Pearl, I couldn't hear any street or neighbor noise - which was great! Hat tip to Elizabeth and The Louisa - great service and location!
