Three small, upper-middle-class neighborhoods, Middletown, Woodland Hills and Douglass Hills, and Anchorage, an upper-class community, make up the Outer East End of Louisville. Nice living area with well built condos. Excellent service and nice workers. Needs to come up with a different plan for deliveries. Putting all packages in a little room is not efficient and very cumbersome for tenets.
Louis has great amenities. The staff is friendly and responsive to any concerns. Very quiet area with spacious bedrooms, modern designs and reasonably priced. Also, has great access to restaurants, stores, shopping.
The Louis as been very welcoming and a place that I can call home. The management is always helpful when needed, as well as the maintenance teams. With a few minor adjustments I will be able to continue calling The Louis my home.
The Louis is the perfect place for us at this time. Quiet, clean, great deck, affordable and nice amenities.
I have loved living at the Louis. Great place in a great location. Maintenance is taken care of in timely manner and done well. Wonderful place to live!

everything always broke for these to be new apartments, this supposed to be private but anyone has access to the residents been here 2 years on 4th property manger

This community is well-kept and in a great location. The 24-hour pod store is a nice amenity. It is safe and neighbors have been great. I have enjoyed my stay here.

I’ve had a good experience so far living at The Louis. The location is hard to beat. It’s a quiet community and offers some pretty nice amenities as well. The office staff is very helpful and maintenance request are handled efficiently.

In my short time here, I have no complaints. It’s very quiet and the few maintenance request that I have submitted have been completed very efficiently. The office staff are all so nice and helpful.
For a luxury apartment there were many issues I’ve dealt with. From the gate being broken majority of my lease, very thin walls.. I can hear my neighbor snoring! No exaggerating. When I first moved in I had issues with my kitchen faucet and 2 drawers, which maintenance did fix. BTW if you have a unit facing the highway, you can hear all the cars pass by. The amenities are nice, as far as the pool, gym & clubhouse. Now the mail/package room? A mess!!! Packages are always lost or damaged. Towards the end of my lease, both apt buildings had bursted pipes, which caused huge damage in the ceiling near the gym. But overall I personally feel like it wasn’t worth the price to be dealing with all of the inconveniences, mainly coming from a luxury flat apartment.

The apartment itself is nice and maintenance requests are typically resolved quickly. The walls to are a little thin and you can always hear kids in the courtyard. The biggest issue is the gates and key fobs not working consistently.
I have had a very positive experience at the Louis since new management has taken over! It’s a Fabulous place to live! I highly recommend this luxury complex!

Great place to live with many amenities for an affordable price for the area. Parking is a struggle but if you’re willing to look past that, it’s a great place to call home.
These apts are very pretty. I'm surprised at how much I love the updated features like the elevator, big bath tubs, pretty lighting, the sink and counters in the kitchen. The pool are and light are beautiful too...so far people here are very friendly...oh love the gym!! I have no complaints!!!
This apartment looks wonderful at first, but quickly bringing unsafe living environment and well over priced. Untrained maintenance staff to manage typically / reasonable ware & tear. Management states there is security /courtesy patrol but it is a non existent service. The management team lacks urgency to resolve major living related issues from resolving package / mail room repairs, enforcement of quiet times, attention to detail when coming to following up on maintenance/ upkeep of the apartment complex. Please save yourself the time, money, and frustration and find somewhere else to live.

The Louis is a beautiful place to live. There are many different floor plans to choose from. The staff in the leasing office are very welcoming and attentive. If they are unable to answer the phone, they are great at communicating within a reasonable time frame. The grounds are well-kept. There are various amenities that residents can use. I have only lived here for a few weeks, but I’m already loving it. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family who are looking for an apartment.

Overall my experience has been great at The Louis. It’s a nice community with fantastic amenities including a heated outdoor pool open all year, valet trash, a community store, and more. It’s a clean community with a very good maintenance and cleaning staff.

If I could rate it 0 star I would… 10/10 would steer clear ever since new management took over it’s gotten progressively worse they claim gated community but many go in and out without the need for a fob. The apartments are cheap can most likely get the same thing across the street for half the cost. They talk about 1 spot per apartment yet many times it’s over populated and limited on parking for residents not to mention the inconsiderate sleeper rig taking up front parking. The amenities are a joke the maintenance is lacking when you submit anything it seems to just fall flat or what she claims lost in emails. The place is pathetic and overpriced RENTERS BEWARE!!!!!! Stay posted I’m sure there’s more to come…oh let’s not forget the cleanliness when it has become a dog park everywhere which originally was a designated area and the accidents in the pool…
For the amount of money an apartment costs to live here, it does not feel very exclusive or secure to outside activity. I have noticed multiple people that do not live at the property using the amenities and abusing them. Essentially ruining the experience for the paying tenants. The units are brand new, but seem to have been built in a hurry and pretty cheaply despite first appearances. Not worth the price of rent unfortunately.
I’ve had a very bad experience with the Louis Apartments so far. About a week after moving in there was a really bad leak from the upstairs apartment which damaged the kitchen ceiling all the way across, and the area above the sink. Instead of cutting the drywall and repairing it properly, they simply painted over the damage. The watermarks still show through. I have children who are allergic to mold and this is a major concern for us. (I will say however I don’t think this was the maintenance team’s fault. They have been very responsive and kind. I don’t believe the decision to paint over the damage was based on their recommendation. “Z” on this team has been great to my children and I both and I have a only nice things to say about him). They also offered a 6 week free promotion and a gift card to cover internet for a year. After moving in serval residents asked about the gift card and we were told they hadn’t been delivered yet. I just received mine after having to ask for it and I’ve lived here 6 weeks. They also repeatedly told me I would get the 6 weeks free and instead only gave me 4 and told me the promotion had ended days prior to me filling out my application. I had trouble accessing my account and had to call to have the password reset, and was still assured on the phone I would receive the original promotion. I then had a second area of water damage as water was running inside my front door, damaging the paint and pooling on the inside. They believed this was due to uneven weatherstripping and condensation. My car was broken into a week ago right in front of my building. This is supposed to be a gated community but the gates still do not work. We received an email the gates were in working order a few days ago, but they still are not. Lastly, while I will say you cannot hear the neighbor’s next door, potential residents should be aware that they can hear every footstep and conversation from people upstairs. It’s very difficult to sleep with the noise if you have neighbors who stay up late as mine do. Overall I expected more, and hate to report its not been a great experience. The units themselves are beautiful and the layout is nice. I do want to say Cassidy in leasing is very kind and has always been helpful.

Management and staff at The Louis Apartments have been courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. I am a new tenant and appreciate the personal attention the staff has provided for me. The quality of the architectural layout gives one a feeling of vacationing in a resort. It has been a fun and exciting experience living here, as The Louis has a fun event planned quite often, including good food and delightful drinks. I would highly recommend this charming apartment community due to the floor plans and amenities it has to offer!
