Property Ratings at The Lodge
Not all requests are the same. Every problem has its own problem.
I would not recommend a friend or family member to live at this complex. There is a significant roach infestation within the entire complex. Prepare yourself to be subjected to pest inspections without ask due to problem tenants on multiple occasions that requires you to confine your pet to a small space for the entire workday, or for treatments prepare to have to find a sitter or take off work because you and your pet need to be out of the apartments for hours after treatment. The leasing staff except Kevin are rude and disorganized. The grounds are barely upkept. The laundry machines and dryers are consistently breaking and take months or even years to fix (have never experienced this issue in past apartments). The elevators break consistently. There are immense safety concerns with this complex, the building codes are not changed every year, or at request. The building codes are the same for every building except one, so anyone who has lived here can come back and access the building(s). There is consistent theft. While they have an amazon locker, it is only accessible for delivery drivers during leasing office hours during the week until 5PM, otherwise, prepare for you packages to be placed in an area where it will get stolen. There are no security cameras in the entrance of buildings or the stairwells. The stairwells are left open by other tenants with no security cameras, its accessible and a serious safety concern. When I moved in almost everything was broken in my apartment, including the shower, the heater (which was blasting heat with no way to turn it off), the dishwasher, the disposal, shelves and drawers and the patio door. The apartment was also not clean when I moved in, while the floors and the basic surfaces were semi-clean. The cabinets, and shelves were dirty (I ended up cleaning them myself), I found dirty napkins and food underneath the fridge and the oven. The AC unit in the bedroom was barely screwed on, rusted and covered in dust. The fan in the bathroom was covered in dust and rusted, and the toilet paper holder was practically falling off. The amount of space in the apartments is nice, and the pool and hot tub (if not broken) are nice, the patio size is great, and the big dog park is a great amenity. Overall, I would not recommend living here, unless there are serious improvements to the complex.

I never leave negative reviews unless it gets bad, so here it is. This property neglects residents and their safety. THREE times in the last month the AC has gone out in the entire building with no communication. I woke up today and my apartment was 84 degrees- and again, for the third time. My AC was out for 2 months during the summer and they have no long term plan of action besides cheap fixes. Only live here if you enjoy being roasted in your apartment everyday.

It will be nice to take the carpen out at the stairwell since it’s just a walkway for everyone and there are stains from trash being dripping or dragged down the floor. Feel like concrete will clean easily.

The best thing I can say about The Lodge is that I know I made the right decision to live here. The location is perfect for me, and my apartment layout still feels fun and fresh to me. A hidden gem for an apartment. Beautiful wooden floors, very nice ammenities around the property including a year round hot tub, giant balconies, basketball court/dog run/giant green space courtyard, amazing location for the price. Overall, a great place to live for the price and location!

The lodge is the first community that I moved in by myself. They made the whole application and move-in process very efficient, and definitely was pleasantly surprised by how quickly the whole process went by. Honestly, I was a little sketch with the reviews when first moving in to the Lodge. However after a year and a half living here it will be hard to go somewhere else. The community is fairly quiet in a really nice neighborhood and location in Denver with access to literally everything. Most of all I am thankful for the management. They have been very very understanding of a hardship that I had faced and needed them to work with me, and they went above and beyond in communication. Again, very very thankful that my first own apartment has been this well. Only thing needs improvement is the team of maintenance, but I am understanding that they were short staffed for a while.

Hi, we are so happy to read such a great review about The Lodge Apartment Homes!
This place has roaches and the maintenance is horrible. If remodel 1970 unit is painting cabinets and adding new appliances then band aiding the plumbing issues, then you can call this place home. We felt like we live in a dog shelter most days with all the barking and poop in the grass. The parking roulette was super fun on snow days, especially when know had taken care of the ice sheets Infront of the buildings. I truly have to thank the tow truck that hit our moving truck as we tried to move out during the snow storm. Know in the office cared the next day, but we enjoy the charges we received on our credit report never got a bill in the mail nor a phone call. Everyone I’ve encountered as part of the lodge team has been beyond helpful and provided amazing customer service. They are present around the property, not just in the office. Maintenance has been responsive and helpful. The amenities from the gym, to the pool, to Amazon lockers and package delivery are great

Very poor upkeep of apartment grounds. Unprofessional and incompetent management staff. Large amounts of car break-ins/theft. Lots of towing in a parking lot that always has an abundance of spots available. I was told that if I had an unexpected guest show up after office hours that they would have to park on side roads or risk being towed. However the closest place to my apartment not in the parking lot is a good distance away, in a neighborhood where I have heard gunshots late at night multiple times.

I would not recommend the lodge apartments, i lived here for 10 months and everything was constantly breaking. Not only was everything breaking but it was a constant battle with maintenance to get it fixed. All of the “new renovations” are not done well and break super easily. You can definitely get more for your money, especially with them raising the rates so high

Great open space, plenty of parking, awesome team members. I wouldnt live here now though because of all the ways they try and charge you for things which should be basic human decencies (such as the crazy expensive laundry, to name one).

The Lodge is a nice apartment complex, when I have had any issues they have been fixed quickly and quite well. They are understanding and nice at the office, I've recommended this apartment complex to many coworkers and will continue to do so.

Good staff. Gift basket was great idea. Gym Key fob is very small and could be very easy to lose. I wish the key fob was easier to keep up with.

The Lodge is a safe, clean complex just far enough from the bustle of the city to remain accessible to night life but peaceful at night. Residents here respect one another and take responsibility for their pets. Management is great and approachable, and the online portal makes maintenance requests and paying rent simple!

Outside of the apartments being renovated and maintenance being wonderful I had a challenging time living at the lodge. From the additional utilities you are required to pay to the tenants leaving the place a mess I would not recommend living here.
