The management team and maintenance team are always willing to go the extra mile to do what they can to make you happy. I lived in both a 2 story and a single story unit. They are the best priced, cleanest, and most quite in the area. I would recommend them over any other in the area.

Staff is wonderful!! We moved in about 3 months ago in a rush due to a job change. The girls in the office are so sweet and made the whole process easy for me and my family. Maintenance is amazing and so friendly too! The move in experience was quick and easy. I highly recommend! Thank you!!

I have lived in many apartment complexes and this one is my absolute favorite. The staff handle everything with care and have always been respectful. They host quite a bit of resident events which have always been fun and maintenance here is the best ive seen. Their response time has always been fast and they're happy to go above and beyond.

Wonderful place to live! Ive lived here for going on 3 years and have seen changes but all for the better. New office and new maintanance people are so nice they put Chick-fil-A to shame with customer service. If i have any issues, they listen care & go the extra mile which is hard to comeby these days. Highly recommend!! Also love that it's hidden back and the cute events they hold. ??????

I'm not sure about some of these reviews because I love living here at Legends. I've lived here for about 2 years and have had nothing but good experiences. I can't make all the events because of work but I'm they seem cute. The girls in the office are so sweet. I haven't had any issues with some of the things mentioned and think it's just upset people. I work against reviews in my business and know there's always more below the surface.

The headline says it all. If you like garbage overflowing from every dumpster, feral cats that outnumber tenants, mice and roaches. Than this is your place!
The Legend at Lake Murray is located behind a commercial area. Tenants may pay for reserved parking spaces wherever they choose. The choice can be in front of another tenant's residence if desired. Arrangements have been made through the management company, with a towing company for those who reserve parking, to call the towing company directly and have cars removed. Management's overall policies do not take responsibility for promoting harmony. This is not a congenial or desirable community.
All of their homes are completely renovated, and the office/maintenance staff is ALWAYS willing to help and lend a hand! Highly recommend
Cute community, great staff, and great maintenance crew! My family and I truly enjoyed our stay here, and would highly recommend the Legends at Lake Murray.
My family and I moved here in December 2017 and we absolutely LOVE it here. The staff is extremely professional and they are very efficient and reliable whenever we had an issue, and we have only had maybe 2 issues in our townhouse in the last 6 months. We are definitely considering signing a new lease because my kids love it here. Everyone is so nice and all the children play outside together every day while owners casually walk their dogs around the community. The grounds are beautiful and the pool area is one we would actually pay to enter if we had to, we really enjoy it here. We definitely recommend this community to renters looking for a new home.
Love the location of my new townhome. It's a very quiet community and the dog park is perfect for my dog. The girls in the office are super nice and made the process of moving from out of state really easy! Definitely will recommend this place to my friends.
***BEWARE DO NOT MOVE HERE**** I moved Sept 2017, the model was very nice. When I was assigned my townhouse #708 I was in complete shock. There were rat droppings everywhere. The roaches completely took over the apartment, I had to swing the door open and look around to avoid a roach from jumping on my head, a complete nightmare. I called numerous times for pest control, it became a weekly occurrence. One morning I woke up, my daughter was surrounded by thousands of ants!!!! ( Looked like something from a horror movie) The ants then migrated from room to room. My neighbors complained of the same issue. The final straw was rats!!!!!! The only resolution the office gave me was to move out on Feb 8th, but they made me pay the full month of rent which is completely unfair!! They said they will waive the moving early fee and the last few months of rent. If you guys didn't put me in a jungle I wouldn't have to move early. The office still refuse to credit my February rent. I ask for the owners numbers and they refuse to provide!! RUN FAR AWAY FROM THESE APARTMENTS UNLESS YOU WANT TO LIVE WITH ROACHES, RATS, AND MICE!!!!!
Great Staff! Great Location! Beautiful Complex! Awesome view from my 3rd floor balcony! Great schools! Very comfortable living environment! Could not have picked a better place for us to live at in the Lake Murray/Irmo area!
There was only one apartment left when we toured and fell in love with this quiet community. It is so peaceful and gorgeous with homey touches to the sleek renovations. So thankful we were able to get in from the waiting list. High quality apartments and people! Compared to all the other places (7) we have seen, this one is by far the best for your money, best location, best people and the only town homes in this high end area by the lake. We love the walking paths too!

My wife, kids and I have been staying here while our new house is being built. We love it, it is more than enough room in our 3 bedroom, the renovations were tastefully done, and there is a lot to do. The staff are so friendly and do a lot for us. Wine nights and resident appreciation week are a blast! I love to stop by to get morning coffee and use the wifi. I have never had a problem and would recommend to all my friends/colleagues. I will even miss the immaculately maintained grounds that I don't have to mow!
I have been here for a year and my family and I love it!!! The townhome is gorgeously renovated and they gave me a free brand new washer/dryer! IT is so peaceful with the private road and the gym is never crowded. I love how the made everything brand new and the price is great making my life so carefree, my kids love the pool year round and playing horseshoes/corn hole!
I would not give my money to aspen square management. The front managers lack empathy, I've a 2 yr old and they refuse to put snake away when I killed a snake in my apt. Scorpions cannot be eradicated and the manager refuses to schedule a monthly pest control. You have to request for one...
We relocated to Columbia in a corporate move and are waiting for our out-of-state house to sell. The things I love about living here the past month are: 1) We got a small end unit that is one story, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, which is the perfect size for an empty-nest couple with a small dog. 2) It's quiet. I love the quiet. 3) It's very dog friendly, and we have easy access to the yard right out our front door. Residents are respectful and clean up after their pets. 3) The hardwood laminate floors are easy to keep clean and look nice. 4) The appliances are stainless steel and new. 5) We get lots of light with large windows in each room (except the bathrooms). 6) We have parking close to our front door and there's never a parking issue. 7) Full size washer and dryer provided in our unit. 8) The grounds are well-landscaped and maintained. 9) The maintenance man, Daniel, is talented, efficient, courteous and kind. 10) The staff are friendly and respectful. 11) We are close to the most amazing park--Saluda Shoals Park--and also Lake Murray dam...and there's a Kroger grocery store super close, as well as Costco, the Harbison shopping district, and many restaurants...yet it feels like you're in the country.
The Legends at Lake Murray is in a great location for those who want to live in the city but have a suburban lifestyle. Nestled in-between the Lake Murray dam and the shops of Haribson and Columbiana Mall, its the perfect place for those folks who are looking to stay active with nature but also enjoy shops and restaurants. With a newly renovated clubhouse, complete with business center, resort style pool and a fitness center its great for those who are homebodies as well. And this place is perfect for four legged friends, they just designed and installed a dark park!
We toured yesterday and totally fell in love. Hardwood floors and finally a yard for my kids to play in. BCH
