Resting between the Colorado River and Lake Travis, Hudson Bend is an upscale suburban neighborhood. Hudson Bend boasts impressive single-family houses and luxury apartments with waterfront views. Although Hudson Bend is known for its lavish properties, there are a few affordable options available as well. Water sports are very popular in this area and many homes have private marinas, but there are public marinas in the neighborhood as well. Mansfield Dam Park on the southern end of Hudson Bent is a local favorite for swimming, fishing, scuba diving, and barbecues. Because of its excellent access to the water, Hudson Bend is a popular tourist spot and has multiple hotels, houseboat rentals, and bed and breakfasts. Hudson Bend is family-friendly with excellent schools and peaceful streets. The neighborhood is also a great place for commuters seeking a secluded slice of paradise while still having an easier commute to work.

Property Ratings at The Hudson on Lake Travis (WATERFRONT!)
It’s not worth the money. The last review was spot on. There is zero insulation between floors so you can hear EVERYTHING. I lived in a few different units and it was totally unmanageable. If you don’t have great hearing, it’s a wonderful place. The views can’t be beat.
Some residents were noisy inside and outside the apartment. When there were high winds that blew past the building, it made it very scary and even blew things off the balcony. Some balconies are not private and are right next to your bedroom window so if you want to open your blinds, your neighbor is able to look directly in your bedroom. Or if your neighbor blasts loud music on their balcony at night, it can be heard from bedroom and living room. Left because the rent price doesn't match the quality. The views are nice, but this isn't the only place in the area that offers a view.
