Property Ratings at The Horizon
In my time here I had to deal with bedbugs, cockroaches, and some type of tiny bugs that nobody ever bothered contacting me back and telling me what they were. They do no preventative spraying for bugs. The apartments are old and shabby inside. Leasing office is aloof and rent is overpriced. Don't bother with this place.
The apartment is nice looking inside and out. The main room is pretty small like the rest of the apartment. But there is a nice big window in the front. My favorite part is the bathroom. It is clean with a good shower. The apartment has good storage space in the attic. The kitchen is small. It only has a mini freeze with no freezer space and no microwave. The carpet is brand new but there were lots of tiny ants when I first moved in. Overall is an okay place to live.
I couldn't feel more comfortable or safer in my apartment. My neighbor just told me that our complex is probably the "quietist in the city". Access to a pool, recreation center and laundry just for residents, a short drive to campus, a quick jaunt from Downtown. Free parking! All utilities included but electric. You're allowed to do what you want with the little "yard" as long as you keep it pretty. My one-bedroom place has become my own home, not just an apartment.
