Anoka is a city along the eastern banks of the Mississippi River roughly 30 minutes north of Minneapolis. Anoka is known for all things spooky, as it’s coined the “Halloween Capital of the World.” The city held one the of the first Halloween parades in the country, and it continues to pay homage to the holiday with several parades happening through the month of October. During the other months, Anoka is characterized as a delightful Twin Cities suburb.

Terrible place to live, but affordable?
Lived here for over a year. Moved in and place was disgusting. When I moved out, I cleaned everything. They made me come back to clean more and I stupidly did. Did not get any of my deposit back. Ac almost never worked! Went to laundromats instead of their “laundry area” since it is incredibly disgusting, boiling hot, and washers did not efficiently wash or dry your clothes. So paying for 1 wash becomes 2!
