Better off staying in a hotel. Management is poor and maintenance is lacking
I have lived at The Hamilton since October of last year. Maintenance is on top of work orders and has completed anything i’ve put in within the same day. My dryer stopped worked and they came out and cleaned my vent and it works perfect now! My neighbors are super friendly and there is an overwhelming since of community here.
I applied for an apartment and I made double the income, they said I needed a co-signer. My boyfriend said he would co-sign for me. He turned in the paperwork and they said that they never gotten it. He turned it in for the second time and they said they didn’t have his paperwork and a missing piece of mines. We both turned it back in and we never heard from them.
maintenance guys do nothing but drive around and act like they are working. I’ve put in 2 work orders while I have been living here and they have yet to be fixed. Not to mention that the main maintenance guy thinks he knows it all and has issues. Glad I’m leaving
i have been looking to move to this area for a few months now and identified a apartment complex that was a little cheaper (not at the Hamilton). That was a mistake, you get what you pay for and the bad service came with. i had a friend that stays at the Hamilton that i was staying with because the apt. was not ready still 10 days after they said it would. i really enjoy this property(Hamilton), it's well maintained and the Staff has the best service that i have encountered. i went to the office and fill out application here at the Hamilton and moved in the same day!! thanks!!

The Hamilton at Turman Farms has stellar reviews across the board, so we had to see for ourselves. They did not disappoint! I spoke with Katie over the phone, and she was willing to stay late to show us an apartment. The complex was extremely easy to find, which was huge for someone new to the area. She welcomed us with a friendly face, toured the entire property with us, and answered all of our questions. The property is beautiful, the apartment is spacious with great appliances, and the amenities are top notch! We even met some residents in the gym who had great things to say about living at The Hamilton!!! She has been very patient with us, as moving has taken longer than expected and been available via phone and email. We are excited to be calling The Hamilton at Turman Farms our new home! First off, when you put in your application you get a fee waived by writing a review, which is how this complex has a 5 star review. I'm sure if Apartments.com knew of this they'd be less than pleased. Anyway, here's a story of how The Hamilton at Turman Farms got rid of a major amenity without any warning. I shopped around a lot for this apartment. Went to bunch of complexes and took a look at the Hamilton. After being sold on the apartment, which was partly due to the amenities of the property such as the gym, pool, and grill, they mentioned the office would be able to receive packages I could then pick up after work. This was a major reason I wanted to live here, since I work during the day(as do most people here), and wouldn't be able to receive packages any other way. They just announced that they have chosen not to receive packages in the office anymore. After the leasing consultant's assurances that this was an available service and giving no indication that it was planned to be withdrawn, they decided to get rid of one of the most attractive amenities they have. It's absurd, and begs the question: what other amenities are they planning to get rid of now that they've gotten rid of the most popular one?

I am sorry for your frustration. However we are still taking packages and holding them in office for 5 days for all residents to retrieve them. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to correct your experience here.
I’ve lived at Hamilton for two years. The office staff are always friendly and quick to handle maintenance issues. The pool area is nice. Grounds are well kept. Apartment is close to shopping areas and restaurants. My only complaints are that the gym is small for a complex this size (should be an additional elliptical and remove the bike) , and the trash receptacle is inadequate as well. There’s one large bin for 400+ unit complex. We have to store our trash in our apartment which smells then walk or drive to the bin in one trip because of the distance. We have never had an issue with noise until recently. We have some new neighbors in our building who love to smoke and talk on their cell phones while in the walkway and sometimes in the parking lot on a daily and nightly basis. They don’t realize or care that everyone can hear their conversations. Some people work and value sleep as well as clean air.
I called to inquire about leasing options at this property. Sarah was very personable, professional and attentive to my needs. All of my questions were answered in detail and I felt confident that this would be a great place to call home.
Apartments ok. The floor between the apartments creak and are way too thin. I can hear my upstairs neighbors every step. Their kids are beyond loud and noisy. Run and jump from before 7 am to after 830pm. Offices response is to call the courtesy officer 3 times for verifications before they’ll act. After the verifications still no resolution. Luckily being allowed to Move out early due to disruptive noise and unable to relax and sleep. Can hear other neighbors music playing. Just not quality built for privacy or relaxing.
The staff here is very nice and respectful, the building here is clean and the maintenance is always here on time to get any appliances fix or replaced. Every staff is very efficient, and I must say that this apartment is top notch.
Too small for the price. No patio, main window facing nothing. I like split bedrooms. 2 bedroom down stairs plus but Upstairs noisy. I hear when they walk, toilet flush, shower. Cannot sleep due too noise. Too many speed bumps, streets are not in good condition. Amenities are few and all piled up at front office.
This apartment is in a good location only a few minutes from anywhere in Southaven, MS. The pool area is beautiful. There are available storage units or garages for an extra fee. Exercise room is OK, with fairly good equipment, but the remotes to the equipment mounted TV monitors sometimes change other people's channels too. The interior of the apartments are very clean. The only negative on the interior of the apartments is the noise from the apartment above you.
Very spacious, clean, and well built apartments. Very nice people living in the complex and very nice and helpful management. Huge beautiful pool, and a new remodeled gym that's extremely spacious. Love the Hamilton Apartments!!
