I love this apartment. The area is awesome. The building is nice and safe. The maintenance staff is super kind and helpful. The gym is a great space to work out with nice equipment
Obsessed with my new apartment at Hume House! I love my spacious closet and the amenities are great. I've only been here three days and I've already met so many of the other residents which is huge for me since finding a friendly community is high on my list of priorities. :) And of course, we can't forget Hume's AMAZING location in Germantown. I can walk down the street to some of my favorite bar and restaurants. SO glad I chose to live here!
I absolutely love living here. I Feel like the staff is communicative and the complex is always being attended to and taken care of. We had some small things that needed to be taken care of right away after move in and the maintenance team came to our door the next day to take a look.

Love the apartment and the people who work in the community. I like the layout of the facility and the tall doors and ceilings. I also like that the parking is on the same floor and indoor/outdoor. The design of the kitchen and bathroom is mid-century modern and the pool area has a similar vibe to it.

Move in was mostly good. However, I did show up and my apartment was not cleaned and missing the washer/dryer and dish washer. I let the leasing office know and they had my appliances and the apartment cleaned in a few hours!

Nothing but positive things to say about my recent move in experience, especially with Simone who coordinated everything. She did a stellar job answering a laundry list of all my questions over the past few weeks as I wasn’t able to check out the property in person being out of state. She is super friendly with a positive attitude which makes the move in experience a whole lot better. I had the opportunity to also meet the rest of the leasing team, including the manager David, and they’re all really nice & accommodating. Communication from the office and staff could be much better and timely. I also think there should be more mirrors and the addition of speed bumps in the garage because people are often driving too fast. Overall, everything else is good.

I have lived in the Hamilton side of this building for over a year, and while the apartments are gorgeous that’s really all they have to offer. My main issue seems to be common with everyone else here - the noise. It’s absurd how much you can actually hear in this building for the amount of money you pay. I can hear everything my neighbor is doing, down to the conversations they’re having. If you value privacy and peace and quiet I do not recommend the Hamilton. Management doesn’t ever offer any real solutions to anything either, you’re lucky if you even get a response from them. The real star of the show here is the maintenance crew, they deserve 5 stars alone. Rent keeps going up here for no real reason, and it is absolutely not worth the price. You can find much more affordable and just as aesthetically pleasing rentals within the area.

My year here has been an overall pleasant one with SOME complaints. First, the staff is excellent. I feel as though they have your back and will work with you through most situations. Marianna deserves a raise ya'll! Second, this place really does feel like a home. It's cozy and has a family atmosphere about it. Where my complaints lie are within the parking and noisinesses of my neighbor. Why is there not free parking for guests? Street parking is great in all but when there have been multiple accounts of vehicle theft - I have problems. And to make our guests pay for parking in the garage. No bueno. My neighbor. It's not that he's purposefully noisy but it's the way his kitchen is set up behind my entire studio wall. Every cabinet slam, dish put in the sink/washer, I can hear and it's startling noise. I feel that's faulty of the way these apartments have been designed. Overall: Solid. I'm staying another year.

I love the building and the people, but struggle with the constant noise of my neighbors. I really wish that the building was crafted with more insulation.
A mixed bag. With how much I’m paying, I am a leaning a bit more towards unsatisfied. Firstly, the mail room is very disorganized, with packages strewn about everywhere. Other apartment buildings have more designated and organized ways for people to find their mail, and it’s kind of surprising that carriers just throw your packages somewhere in the room, making it very difficult to find your items. Secondly, the Hume house elevator had been broken for far longer than the timeframe I was told it would be fixed by, which has made accessing my apartment very difficult. Lastly, maintenance has been very unresponsive, I called over a week ago and left a message requesting maintenance, but have not heard back at all. Some members of management can be rude.

Overall a pretty good experience! Love the location and the amenities. The gym is one of the nicest apartment gyms I’ve seen! I do wish the windows were better quality in the building. On the cold days you can feel a huge draft and there is often a lot of condensation on them.

Hamilton is a great place to live- location wise and the apartments are clean/nice. Management is responsive. Only downside is high cost of rent compared to other apartments in Germantown.

Hume house is such a lovely place to live and I’ve only been here for a few days! I don’t ever want to leave. So much space here and fun things to do!

Good so far, all things considered. I will say that the issue with the lack of soundproofing, and the building being made of wood, is problematic. I can hear and feel my downstairs neighbor getting up for work or doing chores

I absolutely love Hume House! The management is the best management I have ever had at an apartment complex. The maintenance team is fast and helpful. The amenities are great, and the location is impossible to beat!

Clean, nice people, good community. If you are a dog person, you're in luck as many of the residents have fur babies and meet at the dog park around 5pm every day.

Overpriced, added monthly fees, can’t get a hold of curtesy officer after hours for emergencies and no one will return phone calls. Office staff never answers the phone and they’re extremely rude and unprofessional. Would not recommend this apartment complex.

I know that you did not want pet fees or pet rent charged for you two dogs. Like all neighboring communities, all community members are charged a one time pet fee and monthly pet rent. Really nice apartment complex with good amenities that are not always full and is in the heart of Germantown with many restaurants and bars around.
