Despite me documenting damage that was already present in the unit on my inspection sheet i was charged for them upon move out.

Disgusting

This place is absolutely disgusting the reviews regarding “no roaches” is a lie they do not address the valet trash vendors leaving trash behind. The laundry rooms are VERY dirty all the time I’ve never seen it clean majority of them do not even work & they do not fix them. If you come in to tour have them show you so you can see it yourself. Laundry rooms are always unlocked for anyone to come in. Parking is terrible they have so many unused covered parking space's cause they claim they have assigned parking but don’t even know who has what. Don’t even think of leaving when you have an uncovered parking cause you won’t have a parking space they prefer to not tow vehicles that have been sitting for months than tagging them & getting it removed cause they do not want to walk the property. Even right infront of the community the area where prospects come in to view the property parking have so many unmoved vehicles Leaving residents with 2 vehicles to figure it out & you have ghetto people who stand in an empty parking space until someone they know comes with a vehicle to take the parking spot. All because they don’t have control of the parking. Even though on the lease agreement it clearly states “ unmotorized vehicles will be towed within 48hours” that’s not the case. When we first moved in the apartment complex it was decent now you can forget it. Office staff NEVER answers the office line, you have to personally take time off your own Job to show up & get assistance once I was there the phone rang multiple times & there was 2 office staff & did they bother answering the phone ABSOLUTELY NOT. Emails? Ha don’t even bother. I wish a regional manager can get control of this property. I CANNOT WAIT FOR MY LEASE TO BE OVER! I will definitely be updating you guys if they even care or any improvements.

living at The Halifax

First of I can start off with I love living here!! Candi is absolutely amazing. The living community is beautiful and maintained daily. The community has family areas for outdoor meals and outdoor fun. And guys everything is included in your rent!!! Aps, Gas, Cox cable, Cox Wifi, Water, a nice gym even valet trash service! Literally cannot get better than that!

Luxury Roaches

We moved in to our current unit mid-July. We have had roaches the entire time and have contacted the management office about it several times and they do not care. They add a monthly pest control fee to your rent. They threaten to fine you $50 if you have any item in the walkway but there has been bramble and grocery bags and a baby bottle in our walkway for months.

ZERO insulation between floors

This is by FAR the worst place I’ve ever lived when it comes to noise from the upstairs neighbors. From talking with numerous neighbors and maintenance workers there is NOT any insulation between the floors, it’s just wood. That being said you literally hear EVERYTHING. Whether it’s banging, stomping, coughing, talking, etc. you hear it all. I’m only 2 months into my lease and am already actively looking to break it as I absolutely hate how noisy it is. Take it from me, I’ve been miserable ever since I’ve moved in.

Best place to live

I have lived here since June, management and the leasing agent always go above and beyond to meet my needs. Maintenance staff responds quickly to take care of any issues. The amenities are lovely. The community has so much to offer. If you are looking for a great place to live-you found it!

Managment can't do anything about the noisy neighbors

Ever time you complain about the noise from the neighbors, they just tell you that it's appartment and it's very common to happen while my walls are shaking from the loud music, very happy that I already left.

Prices are NOT ACCURATE

Went there and was unable to view a model. The prices posted are FAR below what they really are. The posted prices are for the OLD suites where you are expected to go on a month to month lease for 4/5 months and THEN move AGAIN and pay the upgraded price. I don’t know about anyone else but I hate moving.

Econimically liveable

I have lived in La Mirada for 8 months now and the only bad thing is the walls are kind of thin and the kids are a little loud in the apartments. Really other than that its a nice place. I have not seen one bug inside my apt(contrary to other reviews). Management is always nice and helpful and they seem to be really making an effort to make the place a much more appealing place to live. This place is pretty cheap on rent and includes all utilities as well as apartment wide wifi through a third party that is cheaper than anywhere else. Every morning the maint. guys are out cleaning the pool and sweeping rocks off the sidewalk( EVERY MORNING :) ) It is close to the freeway and there are plenty of local food spots within a two mile radius. I have not been disappointed at all living in these apartments and you cant beat the low rent with all utilities included.

My Review

So I moved in almost a week ago and im very happy and grateful to even have a home to call home. I live at the la Marada and I have read so many nasty reviews down to roaches, bad maintenance, rude staff, noisy neighbors, bums everywhere, bed bugs, the whole nine yards. This place was a blessing for me considering my financial situation. The staff was nice, neighbor's are helpful, I only killed one roach since I been living here. I have no bed bugs, or no issues with the maintenance. I would recommend a friend.

The best place to live

I love my apartment because if anything goes wrong from plumbing to bugs, just call the office and the problem is fixed as soon as humanly possible. Everyone is so nice and polite as well. When I first moved in there was a rash of break-ins and when management found out they hired off duty police and sometimes the police patrol the apartments. Now, I love my neighbors as well as the apartment I live in. I am supposed to move to a bigger place but I haven't really been looking because I love my apartment!!!!!
