Property Ratings at The Grove on 79th
We recently moved into this place with high hopes, as we were impressed by the pictures of a beautifully renovated apartment. During the initial showing, we were only shown one furnished classic unit, and of course we thought the renovated units would be even better. We specifically requested a renovated townhome, despite its higher rent, because we were seeking a new, modern living space. To our disappointment, on the day we moved in, we found that the apartment was not clean at all. The only "new" aspects were a few appliances; everything else appeared old and had been painted over dirt. We were then informed that the apartment was only partially renovated. We had to move in anyways cause we need it the place but we signed an agreement with management that promised would change fixtures and address numerous issues to make the apartment look newer. However, the maintenance team failed to follow through. They repeatedly postponed scheduled maintenance dates and made excuses for not completing the work. We experienced a flooding incident due to malfunctioning toilets, and the management did not take any action to resolve the issue. Thankfully, the toilets unclogged themselves, as we could not depend on the maintenance team. We have lost trust in both the management and maintenance teams. They have been unresponsive, unreliable, and all they make are fake promises. Do not consider about renting this property to avoid similar disappointing situations. We are currently seeking for legal advice, to put their hands on the situation

Ever since new management has taken over I’ve seen major improvements. Deborah and Ruby in the office are super helpful and go above and beyond to solve any issues. I love living here!
The office and maintenance continue to ignore my maintenance requests. I have mold growing in multiple places in my apartment yet they won’t do anything about it. They even tell people to leave good reviews for a discount. All that, while raising the rent, making the discount redundant. Their office closed which forces us to go to the next apartment complex’s office. Whoever answers the phones there never solves a situation but are kind and don’t act rude. Although they are sweet, they don’t get anything done. Everything in this apartment is falling apart! Trash everywhere. Dead cats. Pool also was never open during the summer. Disappointing experience as I had high hopes from these reviews.
I'm really loving my apartment maintenance is really great they get it done quick .Close to all the shopping centers grocery stores and restaurants I would recommend my apartments to my friends and family and anyone who's looking for a great place to live and peaceful.
I enjoy living here. It's in a good location. Good price for the amount of space you're getting. I have not had any major problems. The management is great. They always check in and make sure everything is going okay. The maintenance is very fast and fix your problems well. The only problem I have is typical, which is that you can hear your neighbors. It's annoying but not enough to make me want to move. Overall, this is a decent place to live and I'd suggest it.
