Alisa, the community manager, has done an amazing job transforming The Grove at Southshore. Alisa has shown care and compassion as she continues to make our community safe and a wonderful place to call home. You see it in the events held for the community to help bring about togetherness, unity, and fun. This was shown most recently when she helped tenants manage through the gate transition. Even with multiple emails, notices, and communications there are still tenants who haven’t gotten their cards registered. I watched her help tirelessly and even had directions printed and placed on the gate to help ensure tenants had access. I didn’t expect to stay here longer than a year but with the care, compassion, and concern she shows for this property and tenants it’s safe to say I’ll be sticking around. The apartment is very spacious. It has a gas stove which I have never seen in an apartment and I love cooking! The community is so close to everything. You can walk to Walmart, Sams Club and Aldi. There are so many restuarants within walking distance too. Liz, Juanita and Nancy in the office are very accomodating. The Grove at Southshore is a great place to live!

I have never had so many cockroaches as roommates. Management thinks you are being dramatic and says “everywhere in Riverview has cockroaches”

My apartment smelled like it hadn't been lived in for months and there were bugs present every day. Trash thown on the ground didn't help the landscape much.

The staff is in the office is great! The property itself is terrible!!! Needs remodeling! Not worth the rent ! They don’t hire professional to fix the property. Takes weeks to have stuff fixed! They have Roaches!! You’ll never get any sleep! People are always outside during the night. Has not been a full month of living here and I Regret picking this place to move into and I’m not from Florida.

So far I have only been living here for 1 month, but I have to say the staff is very helpful and friendly. I love the view of the pond and the quietness of my neighbors. I have not had any major problems that they didn’t quickly take care of. This is a great place to live so far.

I loved the amenities of the apartment complex. The 24 hous Gym, pool, club house the doggie park. The staff was extremely nice! The layout of the apartment was not very nice. Apartment was very small. The master bedroom bathroom was located outside of the room. Which I didn’t particularly like. Also, the other bathroom looked like it was the same size as the master bathroom. The fees are also a bit much. If you want a apartment on the bottom floor you have to pay extra, if you want to have a washer & dryer in the unit that’s extra. There is a monthly fee for your pet and the dryer & stove is gas!! But the apartment was very clean & the staff is wonderful but the apartment would not be a good fit for us.
We just decided to go ahead and renew our lease to spend a second year here. Maintenance is always there the day of or the day after you request. The grounds are always taken care of. And we really have had nothing but good things since being here. We have a 4 bdrm and it works well for us.
I just move from NY this month for Florida warm weather. I went online and saw this place has good reviews. I am a sucker for good service. This’s community looks clean and organize gave me first impressions. I went to rental office, the lady who helped me was warm and friendly and efficient. I got the apartment then I walk around the area is convenient to all the shopping center like Walmart,Walgreen and all kind the restaurants. I don’t want do advertising for them,but just want to give people just move here if you don’t care where you work or live yet,this is a nice place.
I have been living here for about a year and half. My main complaint is the thickness of the walls. You can practically hear your neighbors think. The hallways and walkways are not maintained and are dirty. When they do decide to repaint or do maintenance on the building it will be at a very inappropriate time such as on a Friday at 8pm. I was told I was not allowed to leave my apartment for the remainder of the night because they whole floor had been painted. The price of rent is not universal across the board for individuals with the same floor plan. I know three different residence with the exact same floor plan with all different rent. Also if you have pets, be careful because there is a large flee problem in the yards of the complex. DON'T make the same mistake I did!
Been living here for around 4 months and it's the perfect place for me and my family. The staff members are really nice and helpful 100% ,the location is fantastic , the apartmentsame are really nice and spacious mine has a perfect view to the lake (so relaxing) and the amenities (the gym , the pool , the playground, the dog park , the BBQ area , the computer room and the Club house) we have everything in here you will never get bored! We have had some minor problems but like always maintenance responded fast. And the location it's perfect we lived near everything.
Before i moved here i was literally homeless. I left lehigh acres because of 2 breakins. I was determined to find a better place. I was in my car with my son and we was googling apts in riverview. The Grove at South Shore came up so I called and set an apt, they saw me the same day. They accomidated me in so may was that im thankful. I tell alot of people how great it is to live here all the amenities that are included future tenants cant go wring. . . My son and i are super greatful.

I love coming home to my peaceful neighborhood in which I reside in my spacious and bright apartment. I love the way the sun fills every room through the large windows. Every room is equipped with a ceiling fan and all appliances are up to date. When I feel like sitting outside, I can choose to sit by the pool, sit in our gazebo, or choose to sit on any one of the benches stationed around my complex. I can even throw a barbecue at one of the grills. My oasis on any given day.
1500 squarefoot apartment and units are remodeled. Very very nice units. New playground grill areas and 24 hour Gym and business center. Office staff are amazing and any kids under the age of 18 are not allowed in the pool Area without their parent or guardian so the pool is never Swampped with unsupervised kids...that is until the office closes than you see some kids get the pool key and hang out but dont cause trouble. Living near the pool may sound good but you will not like the foot traffic and all the noise... i love living near the beautiful pond that is fenced and has a gazebo grill area and dog park Overall love the place
For the first time living on my own in an apartment and it feels like a paradise resort. The Groves at SouthShore is serine and tranquil. I looked at many apartments before choosing The Groves and I am so happy I did. They are completely remolded beautiful flooring, cabinets, light fixtures, hardware and coordinating color schemes. They are centrally located in a very growing SouthShore area with the new hospital in walking distance along with shopping restaurant's and a neighborhood grocery store along with family entertainment. The landscaping and grounds are well maintained, very shaded trees and beautiful. Lot's of amenities, playground, beautiful tropical resort setting pool area, state of the art fitness center, dog park, carwash area and clubhouse with a room for party rentals. The office staff is awesome friendly and always have a smile on their face and the maintenance staff is top notch. Also the residents are all very friendly. I'm very proud to come home to my beautiful apartment I call home. PARADISE!!!!!!!!!!
