Only been here 1 1/2 years but feel at home. People are nice and friendly always willing to stop and talk or arrange activites. Certainly an active community if you use it.
I love the maintenance free commitment from Paul and Brandon. My occasional complaint is fixed almost immediately with good nature. I love the feeling of safety and trust.

My wife and I moved into the community in late 2023. Over the next year, we noticed a decline in the overall sense of community. Fast forward to 2025, and things have changed for the better. The management team is more receptive and eager to create that sense of community that was lacking before.

Moving from Hawaii, some have questioned our reasoning. It has been said that Hawaii is paradise. However, I can assure you that the Grove is paradise, and South Carolina has been nothing but welcoming, hospitable, friendly, and wonderful to us. Every day, my wife and I pinch ourselves, praying this isn't just a dream. We have moved frequently during our marriage, but we are both hopeful that this is our final stop. Why would we ever want to leave? Every detail of this establishment has been carefully and thoughtfully considered with the tenant's interest at heart. I can feel that. I know it to be true. Nothing was left to chance or skimped on. We cannot thank Greystar and The Grove enough for providing an oasis to those who have traveled far and wide, and to some, an escape from the deserts of life.

Going on 7 months…..I have no complaints so far. Staff, maintenance, are very professional! Residents are all friendly and enjoyable to talk to. The pond that I view has issues, but according to staff they are working on it.

Really pleased when I moved in and loved the idea of my first senior community. Now I don't feel safe and every month more amenities are taken away. It has really gone down hill since the change in ownership.

Since taking over this beautiful community, we have hired a full time Courtesy Officer who lives on site, we are bumping up your live fitness classes from two per week to 4-5, we are working on adding a putting green to the bocce area, we ordered fun agility equipment and extra seating for the dog park, just placed an order for more pool umbrellas to kick off spring and summer, we hired Jada, our full time Lifestyle Coordinator who works in the front office five days a week planning your calendar of events. We are continuing to add more and more to this already amazing community and are very excited about the future of The Grove at Coastal Grand.
