Property Ratings at The Grand
Do not move here. Terrible conditions, bad smells, rats, and constant maintenance issues that need fixing. Overpriced for what you get.
Do not move in here if you don't want to have smoke in your apartment. There's a lot of people smoking on balconies here and all that smoke will get into your apartment. Management is not doing anything about it. Management is just pretending this is non-smoking community.
The maintenance budget and management team are way too small for a property this old and of this size. Getting anyone to do things big or small is a major undertaking and not worth the hassle for the high prices you pay for supposed luxury
Today is the 12th water shut off in the past year. Broken entrance on Marinelli for 5 months. Repairs take months for the things big and small. Staff ignores requests for help and locks the door to the office often. Shocked at how unresponsive they are when we are all paying top dollar. Renters formed tenant association things were so bad. Fired the valets.
It is safe and convenient for living.

I have some issues with security of the building, the constant breakdown of the electronic gates on Marinelli, and lack of response on re-lining the tennis/pickleball court.

Over 125 people voted to form a rental tenant association last night because individually we could not get management to fix the 10 pages of problems we are experiencing. Maintance problems for days! Total lack of accountability and persistent cheapo attempts to fix serious problems. Staff gossips about other coworkers instead of fixing the serious problems.
Lovely building and grounds. Exceptional staff. Always a welcoming smile at the door. A truly positive experience!

Though the common areas need to be remodeled they are old. Stained and unattractive. Living here is terrific. The location is great. Services are fine and staff lively
Absolutely loved our tour of the grounds and units at the Grand, very excited to potentially join this wonderful community. We could not recommend it enough to others in the area, they have everything you never knew you wanted and more. Not to mention the location is PRIME!

Been here 13+ years and we are very happy. It is safe and well-managed. The mail room alone is a benefit not to be understated. We always get our packages. I also always see the property going through maintenance which is a good thing. A property that is not being maintained is a property in a state of decline.

The grounds are beautiful and well maintained as well as the lobby and gym. The renovated Apts. are lovely with nice balconies. But,? I?m wondering why something wasn?t done to hide the pipes above the washer/dryer. Very unsightly! Had I seen that before I signed the lease, I would not have moved in.
