The Glen

I have been a resident at The Glen Apartments for over a year, and my experience has been extremely negative. Issues ranging from roommate conflicts to maintenance requests have been exacerbated by an unhelpful and, often, rude front office management team. One particularly alarming incident involved discovering a bed bug infestation in my unit. I promptly reported this serious health concern to property management, only to have my request to transfer or terminate my lease denied. This response demonstrates a lack of concern for residents’ safety and well-being. The presence of bed bugs is a significant health risk, and the management’s unwillingness to address the issue effectively has added unnecessary stress to an already challenging situation. Furthermore, property management stated that I would have to find someone to assume my lease to move out. I do not believe it is ethical to relet a bed bug infested apartment to anyone. I hope they will make this situation right by allowing me to pursue safe housing accommodations. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend The Glen Apartments as a safe or healthy living environment. Potential residents should beware.

I absolutely loved living here!! Honestly you could never find a cleaner apartment complex anywhere, 100/10 recommend I wish I never left!! This is literally the most outstanding complex I have ever toured for such an affordable price

When I first started college at CSUSB, no place felt like home. Until I started living at the Glen made it feel like home! From the tons of options of places to eat, safe and reassuring safety, accommodating amenities, and the friendly environment continued to continue my lease here! I would recommend the Glen to anyone looking for a nice and safe environment in San Bernardino. Go Glen!

They made super easy to understand everything in the paper work, they didn’t beat around the bush with the prices and fees. I was told exactly what I needed to hear. Just never been so easier to apply for apartments until I applied for these, so I highly recommend these apartments complex.

I had an overall nice experience here at the Glen, although my roommates definitely felt like strangers, they were chill for the most part, I loved how close I was to the school as well as many food locations and the printer in their study room being free, was so much better than the school because they literally charge you like 55 cents for one page now.

The Glen is an excellent place to live! Great walking distance to the campus and love that it’s pet friendly, highly recommend!

Lived here for a few years and was a great experience. Loved all the commodities that the Glen was able to offer and felt truly as a safe and secure space. Loved the friendly people and students from all around the community as well and the location is a plus.

I've lived here for a few years and can confidently say that for being in San Bernardino, it was much better than I expected, I go to CSUSB and living across the street is very convenient for me and miles better than having to commute. Although the apartments themselves aren't the cleanest, they are definitely better than I expected from apartments in San Bernardino. Overall nice apartments, probably staying here until I graduate.

I've been living at The Glen for a few years now, and they have a lot of resident events that bring the community closer together! I met one of my neighbors through these events, and now we're besties! I recommend this place to all my friends because there are so many things to enjoy (like my walk-in closet and private bathroom).

I have really enjoyed living at The Glen. The amenities are amazing and the home itself is furnished and with good appliances. The staff is very friendly and they go out of their way to interact with the tenants. The environment is fun socially and it's great that campus is right across the street. It is surrounded by restaurants, hang out spots, grocery stores and so much more! The area feels very safe as well.

This property is very beautiful. The landscaping is done well, a location is great. And the management staff is excellent. They are doing their greatest to make sure that the living experience is fantastic. The staff is on point and does whatever they can to assess and resolve issues in a timely manner. This is a good place to live, and I would recommend it.

Such a great place to live, they really do care about all your concerns. They keep up with maintenance. Great pool and gym!! Would 100 percent recommend living here! If you go to the university across the street it is a great walking distance and the have great restaurants/fast food places on the property!

It’s a pretty relaxed complex. You get a washer and dryer. Additionally, if anything breaks Maintenance is pretty fast to fix it after you submit a request.

This property is not taken care of. You cannot walk around the complex without seeing lots of dog poop, rats, over flooded garbage, and people smoking weed. My apartment has been infested with German roaches for months and the management has been slow and difficult to get help. This is not a safe community!

This place is a great place to live. Maintenance is fast and the staff in the office is helpful. I would renew my lease again if I wasn’t graduating soon! Only downfall is you don’t get to meet your roommates before they move in, but luckily I’ve had great roommates.

My daughter lives at the Glen and loves it here. She enjoys all the amenities and how close it is to little shops and restaurants. My daughter and I both have had nothing but wonderful experiences with the whole Glen team, especially those in the leasing office!! They are always very friendly and are willing to help no matter the problem. Ms Julissa is is the best as well, very kind and knowledgeable about everything. Highly recommend!

Haven’t had any problems living here, it’s convenient that there are tons of places to shop or eat near by as well as the university to go to,, I like that it’s quiet but lively at night and a good place to walk around and think. Haven’t been to the gym or pool yet but I’m sure that’s cool too.

My daughter moved into a unit that was not ready to be moved in. It was vacated from a previous resident who left all their rotting food in the fridge, stove was a greasy nasty filthy mess, lounge area was dusty and dirty, blinds throughout the unit needed replaced, her carpet was nasty and destroyed! Her bathroom was disgusting! There was absolutely no cleaning done before she moved in. They don’t answer the phone. They don’t respond to emails. They work with a towing company who drives around towing cars! It’s insane! All for money! Parking is NOT free which is absolutely a rip off! They sign your lease over EVEN IF YOUR LEASE ISNT UP!!! They ask what are your roommate preferences but that’s a joke because they stuck my daughter with the total opposite of what she preferred. This place is a circus and the office staff are clowns

I have never thought I could hate a place so much. If you hate place like a lot of the residents do you can not leave you are stuck in your lease for the whole year unless you can find someone qualified to take over your lease no matter what. They had so many management changes over the years I been here and still suck. They replaced "security" and or had talks with them because of how bad they are at doing their jobs and not even that got better. They loose packages misplace them in wrong mailbox and or give you someone else's packages. The only thing the glen cares about is their money. If you have any issues with roommates they don't care if you're being harassed they don't care they'll say call the cops nothing we can do. They allow aggressive dogs in and do nothing about it. You pay for garage parking but everyone in the unit uses it for free. If you want to speak to a manager you have to make an appointment and send a email that they take their time responding to. Wifi is alwayssss going down! Not enough parking for everyone. The ONLY staff member that was good was Jomel. I would have gave it a 1 star but it got a 2 star due to the fact at the time I moved in it was cheap and convenient...you get what you pay for. Don't recommend unless you're desperate

I like being directly across the street from CSUSB. Super convenient for students, and the maintenance team is SO nice and fast at fixing things!

I have lived at The Glen for 5 years and it is in it's prime right now! The new management is amazing, the property has never looked so clean and they are always so nice and helpful to myself and my roommates. Maintenance is very attentive it gets to your issues very quickly. I would recommend this place to anyone it's wonderful!

Website said there were summer leases available (May-July) so I started doing all the research, application process, and scheduling a tour. The day of the tour (after all the paperwork was submitted) they told me me there were NO summer leases available. They claimed there was no promise made when we started the process and the final paperwork was not 'completed' so they could change there minds. However when you put effort into something like this you expect the company to at least allow those in process to continue with the terms they were offered, or at least be notified before the day of the final tour that things have changed. To add insult to injury, on the same day they said they would not honor their original offer, the website continued to offer the summer lease! Beware of a company that markets a promise (makes you an offer) and then fails to honor it.
