I am only giving a 2 star, as the apartments themselves are nice, but otherwise the complex/management gets 0 stars. The property is now on the 3 different management companies in a span of 3 years. We were lied to upon moving in, as we were supposed to get a 1st floor apartment, but upon moving in discovered it was a 2nd floor. Thankfully we are not handy capped. Our rent has been screwed up since we moved in early last year and the management is not solving the issue. You definitely can find much better elsewhere for the same price. Parking is also horrible; we usually have to park far away from our apartment.

The community looks good on the outside, but there is a lot of gun violence around. Moved in June 2023 and found mice poop all over the laundry area, and still continue to have a cockroach problem. Maintenace is efficient if you need something fixed. Community amenities are not impressive, and you will get the run around from staff.

If you, your friends or loved ones are looking for a safe place to call home, this is not the place to move to. There is a lot of gun violence and little to no security. You will hear gunshots nearly every night from the community behind the apartment complex and verified by the Citizen app. There was a double homicide in one of the units last week (first week of August 2023). I was informed by one of the maintenance techs that my unit had previously been broken in to as well. Aside from this, the maintenance staff is professional and prompt and efficient in their service.

The Gardens is great. Maintenance is efficient, responds fast, and fixes everything right the first time. The ground's look incredible. The grass is green everywhere, greener than I've ever seen it in the four plus years I've been here. You look around at the panoramic view of the property and you see nothing but bright green grass and no dandelions. It's perfectly maintained. Hooray for the landscaping crew They do a great job. Bravo for the Gardens installing security gates The staff is being proactive to keep everyone safe. The office staff is great. Two of the managers are wonderful to work with sweet, soft spoken ,and are able to get things done for individual tenants to meet their needs. In the evening it's relatively quiet on the property after midnight. Not too many cars going in and out, no foot traffic, no dogs barking. I'm looking to upgrade the apartment I have into something better and I know that there's a nice variety of apartments which are being renovated and what's included with the rent is excellent. There are also all kinds of lease terms to fit everyone's needs; ranging from three month leases to 15 month leases. The staff puts on community events like the Cinco de Mayo,like June events, July events. They do things around the pool. They're very proactive to get the residents involved.Overall it's a great experience. It's a great property I'm happy to say that I live in the Gardens and I can see myself living here for years to come.

Moved here in July 2019. Renewed under the new company (GoldOllar) in 2020 because we had a good experience in our first year. Not sure what the new company is doing differently, but this place is just not safe anymore. As of April, there have been MULTIPLE gun violence related crimes (and deaths) here thus far in 2021. Police seem to be here every other day. The camera system out front and security guy seem to not do anything to stop it. Friends of mine in the CPD say this area has just all of the sudden got bad out of nowhere. Not sure how many more bad things will happen this year, but I'm not waiting around to find out.

The Gardens is a great location, a quiet neighborhood, and within a 5 minute drive to every shopping necessary or not that you could look for. They have an excellent and helpful staff, including maintenance worker Pete Kelly, who goes above and beyond to service the residents. Across the street is the local grocery store Giant Eagle, and just down the road are the Easton Mall, Walmart, Best Buy, and John Glenn International Airport, all within a short drive.

This was such a terrible experience, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Between not being able to leave my residence because of the only exit out was severly flooded every time it rained and the water being turned off several times for long periods of time. I honestly couldn't believe that we were paying good money to live in a place like this. Everytime the water was turned off they instructed the entire large community to use the restrooms at the grocery store that would take at least 10-15 mins to walk to, I felt terrible for the elderly tenants and people with children. It was not safe there. Many cars were broken into and my neighbors back window was smashed in the middle of the day when 2 males were trying to break into his apartment. Large groups of males would gather in the parking lots at night and make it very uncomfortable to do simple tasks like carry in your groceries without feeling threatened. The staff was awful, they had zero concern if you needed to get somewhere (work, errands, meetings) but you couldn't get out due to flooding. We were paying good money and should have been compensated in some way for the severe disruption that living there had on our lives, but "there was nothing they could do". Avoid this place like the plague.
I have loved everything about my move-in and living experience. I moved here in May from another complex that was simply a nightmare. My new lodgings has been everything the other place was not. I am very happy here and the staff are wonderful.

If I had been more discerning, I could have avoided this mess. Please, in the tour, don't fall for their used-car salesman sleight of hand tricks, and please, take these words seriously. The place is really trashy. The light switches didn't work, neither did the oven. There's grime on the walls and door frames, the pipes are held together with old duct tape, and the top of the fridge seems to be deteriorating because it's covered in a thick sticky gunk that as of yet I've been unable to remove, and the floors are gross and stained. I was told that they did steam clean them before I moved in, though the fact that there were paint chips left on the ground when I moved in and a nail sticking out of the floor through the carpet, that you would think they would have noticed in the process. There was also a dead mouse in the utility closet. The entire place smells like a mixture of rotten vegetables, cigarette smoke, and weed, in a constant, unavoidable way. I dread coming back from work, because of that first smell that hits you when you open the door. The smell never goes away, but you do get a bit used to it, and once you're in it, it's only awful again if you go to another part of the apartment that smells even worse. I've spent a good amount of time and money trying to remedy the problem, and nothing works, or the solutions are only temporary and situational. Now, most of these problems could be fixed, and some of them have been fixed. The real problem however is the maintenance team, since they don't do anything. Well, that's not fair. Sometimes they do something. Sometimes they don't. Sometimes you aren't even sure if they came by at all. It's incredibly frustrating and disheartening. I feel like the only thing I can do is just live with it. The apartments also have a pretty bad theft problem. Make sure you lock your door and never have anything delivered to your front door, because people will steal your stuff, and there are no cameras anywhere. You hear that? If you want to steal stuff and get away with it, The Gardens is the place to do it. But none of that is the problem. The problem is that none of it is actually considered a problem. There's nothing that can be done about it. That's just how it is at The Gardens. They'll say they're sorry and they want to make it right, they just can't, and so they won't. As much as this was, it's not even the extent of the issues I've had. You deserve better, and The Gardens doesn't deserve your money.
Boyfriend and I toured the property in June 2019. can’t attest to what it’s like to live there, because as soon as we left we were covered in fleas!!! This did not leave a good impression on us at all so we did not apply. Their company bulldog is cute, though. They get a star for that.
The office is rude There are shootings in the area 2 sense I moved in 5 months ago This place is over priced, not safe and rude to tenets
I am in the process of just moving in, but the staff was super helpful and worked with me since I was relocating to the area. The grounds are well maintained. I have had no noise issues. I look forward to decorating the place to be my own and welcoming company.

Look elsewhere. This complex is not a safe place to live. There are gunshots heard regularly, the police are here every day, and the smell of marijuana is so strong you would think they pumped it in. Cars get broken into regularly, and my wife has been harassed by the other tenants here. There is an enormous spider infestation in the apartments too. They “sprayed” but nothing came of it. We vacuum multiple times a week but still see them crawling the walls. There are better options in Columbus. Look elsewhere.

I absolutely recommend The Gardens. The staff is an amazing group of helpful people who go above and beyond. The apartments are well-maintained, inside and out. Maintenance is quick to respond to issues. If not for moving out of the area after my lease is up, I would definitely renew.

I absolutely love my apartment! With me being a female, I always want to feel safe at home and this community did that for me. I have no complaints at all. Whenever you have a maintenance issue, it’s always fixed promptly. The staff is friendly and inviting! I would recommend this place over and over again. Their apartments are very nice and modern. The Gardens is the place to be. Don’t miss out!

I love the location, I am close to Easton and am within only a few miles of anything I could ever need. The office staff here is helpful and awesome!

I just moved in, I am really enjoying this experience. The move in process was easy, I have to say the staff is very helpful and have been very responsive to all me questions and emails. The leasing process was super fast and smooth. I’m very happy, this community seems nice and very safe. I totally recommend!!

Will charge you a TON when you move out but won't be able to explain why when you call and ask. Tried to resign our lease twice but they were "too busy" when we came in both time. Decided to move out and got hit with a hefty move out bill to replace the carpet although we was told they replace the carpets regardless after move outs.

Apartments are like heaven and the staff makes it feel like paradise! Truly Beautiful
Very rude employees in the leasing office. Any query or maintenance issue in the apartment will be addressed in a rude manner. It takes for forever to respond to the complaints for maintenance. If there is a zero star I prefer to give them zero , they do not even deserve one start for their behavior. Behaves as if they are renting the apartments for free. Overall worst people.

My apartment was burglarized yesterday! I called the police and then called the office to let them know what happened. The response I got was not only rude but completely heartless! To ask someone who has just been violated why they're calling to tell you is just terrible! I've lived here over 2 years and have never felt or been treated this way ever! I will not be renewing my lease and would advise anyone thinking of living here to reconsider! The people they allow to live here are very sketchy and there's been way too much going on within the last few months. I no longer feel safe in my own home and now know that champion properties could care less!
I moved to The Gardens a few years ago and love it! The office staff and maintenance staff are always friendly. The community always looks great, maintenance does a good job with the upkeep. You can hear the occasional neighbor. Overall I would recommend The gardens.
This is the worse community I've ever lived in. The staff are not accessible... try calling them, you'll jump through hoops to finally leave a message on the answer machine (which they don't call you back for). Residents have dogs and often do not pick up after their dogs. The Gardens also randomly enter your home to make maintenance repairs... you would think they could get their act together so they don't disturb residents so often. They also recently got new dumpsters that take up parking spaces and if you park at a spot remotely close to the dumpster... they'll attach a large sticker on your window (which is hard to take off by the way) giving you mere hours before they threaten to tow your car... how unprofessional. I recommend people stay away from this housing community. WORST DECISION I'VE EVER MADE. New residents beware, they lock you in with penalties so it's nearly impossible to leave until a full year or more passes... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A LEASE HERE.
DO NOT MOVE HERE! Alot of the reviews are fabricated. The staff is horrible to work with and rude. Renters insurance is required because they don't salt in the winter so if accidents and stuff occur your responsible. They do very little to keep the property up. Recently a neighbor was being harrassed and a man took a hammer to her door and broken glass was everywhere the staff said the police was responsible to handle and they didn't care about the disturbance. I can go on forever don't let the rent specials fool you. DO NOT MOVE HERE the property is not monitored or patrolled. I reached out to the corporate office twice and no one responded. The staff talks around you and handle things unprofessionally like high school kids working their first job. When you come to complete your first walk through things seem ok after you sign your lease it all changes.

Looking for a place to call home with lots of convenience's then the Gardens of Easton may be for you centrally located in Columbus makes morning commutes a breeze with easy access to highways and byways, Just 5 minutes from the airport makes travel a breeze, like to shop theirs plenty of time and places for that Easton Towne Center is chalked up with fine clothing stores and plenty of food and drink definitely something for everyone's taste. Once you call or stop in at the Gardens you will find out how knowledgeable the staff is to your needs and their expertise definitely takes the burden out of moving. Some of the things the Gardens offers: Have a pet bring him to the gardens does except pets and they have a very nice dog park for him to play in and plenty of places to walk him. Like swimming well the gardens may be your place because they have two swimming pols with lawn furniture for you to soak up some of those summer rays did I mention the fitness center that comes includes with your monthly rent so don't delay call or drive into the gardens today look forward to meeting you and calling you my neighbor...
I was impressed with the leasing office. Brian went out of his way to meet with me and show me available apartments for a quick move-in date. He handled the furniture rental, ensuring the apartment was setup and cleaned and contacted the utilities companies for me. The staff in the office are very friendly and very helpful. The apartment complex is very clean, well maintained and very close to shopping and the airport. I really couldn't have asked for a better place to settle while working in Columbus. I will even forgive the fact that Brian is a Columbus Blue Jacket "avid" fan!!
The courtesy and friendliness of the staff made the moving process go very smoothly. The one bedroom units are more spacious than I imagined and well soundproofed. Very impressed by the overall look and feel of the property. I am very much at peace with my new abode.
We moved here recently and have nothing but great things to say about the apartments. We have had minor issues with maintenance but the office staff is always quick to help and Chelsea is fantastic. Our unit is laid out well and is roomy! We love the proximity to downtown and to Easton!
Love the look of the apartments and the neighborhood was also very nice but beware, you are going to be dealing with just another money hungry company who doesn't care about the people in their community. My fiance and I were told literally the day before we were scheduled to move in that our application had been canceled (though we'd paid to hold the apartment for three months and it hadn't yet been three months) and if we were to reapply there would be new fees and the cost of rent went up and we would have to pay the new amount. We'd talk to someone in the office days prior to our visit and he assured us everything was set and we would be able to move in on the day expected. This was a real inconvenience for us and very distressing and what made it worse is that from then on the office would not return our calls and we couldn't settle the issue. So just like that we were out of an apartment and out a few hundred dollars and no one who cares. Fortunately we had family who were willing to help us out, but i could only imagine how anyone else could have ended up after giving this company there money for a home and then being told that there is no home.
I've lived here for a little over a month now and so far I've been happy. The office staff made the move in process very easy and they are very nice every time I've gone in there. There was one problem when I first moved in (the porch light was not working) but maintenance was out very fast to fix the problem. I moved since it is very close to work and I enjoy Easton. I also like that they're pet friendly and I hope to adopt a dog soon.
The apartments are very spacious and in desirable neighborhood. They are very pet friendly. Easton is right by great shopping and food. Also I-270 is right there so you can get anywhere in Columbus in no time. The apartments are newly renovated as well new everything. Overall great place to live would recommend.
The Gardens at Easton complex is conveniently located between the Columbus Airport and the Easton Mall. Single ($750) and double ($850) apartments are available and have just been renovated! All appliances are available except for washers and dryers. The fitness center and pool are the cherry on the cake!
