The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Fairfax
I have lived here sine the building opened 6 years ago and don’t think I will ever leave. It’s everything you would ever need as a single person in this fantastic neighborhood. The maintenance will always have wear and tear issues but I have always been met with a resolution to a problem. The building is amazingly clean and well kept which speaks to the quality manager Natashia who always goes the extra mile to make this a wonderful community to be a part of. Don’t miss her rooftop events as she spoils us!
I disagree with the previous review and absolutely love living here! My apartment gets tons of light, has high end finishings and beautiful built ins. I love the touches like automatic light shut off in the bathroom, storage in the entry way, various lighting options and built in blinds. Given the location, it is also surprisingly quiet! Speaking of - the location is unbeatable. Right in the middle of things, with the ability to walk to nightlife, shopping, movies and dining - rare for LA! What really sets this place apart is the service. The building manager, Natashia, is so thoughtful, decorating the lobby for the holidays and caring for the rooftop gardens and occasional events. Her efforts make it feel like a home. Service requests are easy to submit and I have never had to wait more than a day or two for a problem to be fixed. TLDR: Highly recommend this building!
The majority units are around 400 sqft of usable space. Its a lot of money for stuff that breaks a lot and maintenance fixes in a glue and tape kind of way. If amenities break like rooftop fire places its previously taken months before fixed. The parking gets old very quickly when you want to immediately leave but you have to wait for the machine to get your car. Unless your car can be charged then you don’t get to opt out if using said machine either. They will raise your rent after a year and if you choose month to month then they charge you a 10% base rent fee. They’ve raised the monthly parking fee too so be prepared for that happening again. They will squeeze every penny out if you that they can. I feel like the neighbor turnover rate is also high because people quickly realize these apartments aren't really great. There is also the issue of sound: doors slamming, people in hallways sound echoing in the middle, paper thin walls depending on your unit.
Natashia. What to say about this charming woman? Incredibly knowledgeable, patient, kind, and funny! Really took the time to sincerely listen to my specific needs and went above and beyond to find a way to make my price point and specific needs blend. Cares for the property AND its tenants. Come through !!
