Property Ratings at The Exchange at Bayfront
We have been here for 4 years and enjoy our neighbors and the staff is very accommodating and responsive.
Lived here over a year and each day I am grateful for the community, nature, and property!
Overall love the community and the effort they put into making sure we are taken care of. Even got a follow up call regarding the move and how it went from Carina. She’s an awesome person, shes initially who gave me the tour and was helpful through the entire process!
An amazing place to call home. Waking up to birds and living in a diverse and family-oriented community is everything and the exchange is the epitome of a safe, secure, and reliable team to make sure the experience is as best it can be for everyone!
This October 2025 marks 5 years of living here, and I have to say—it’s been a great experience. I love the property, the management team, the location, and the surrounding community. The management has always been understanding and willing to work with residents through personal challenges, which I truly appreciate. Grateful to call this place home!
Living at the exchange is a joy! The staff and management are extremely professional, hospitable, caring, and supportive of resident needs and requests. It’s a beautiful location within a diverse community that I love coming home to and waking up in.
I’ve lived at the Exchange for the 4th year now . I appreciate the cleanliness of the place . The amenities and services are superb . I enjoy my stay after a busy day at work .
My husband and I are 7 months into living in this apartment. It's been a decent stay so far. Most days are nice and quiet; the staff is prompt and helpful, and the amenities fit our lifestyle. It would have been a perfect place to live if some residents followed the rules and picked up their mess like the others. Despite all that, I'm thankful for the staff who diligently do their jobs.
Great place to live. Building and services are terrific and the neighbors are wonderful.
The community here at the exchange is awesome , well respected, and I love it.
A beautiful peaceful environment with beautiful scenery. It’s an oasis in the north bay
This is a wonderful property. The staff members are professional, very responsive, and thorough.
What makes the Exchange at Bayfront extra special is the staff. They are responsive, professional, and caring. The property is beautiful and the location on the Bay is absolutely wonderful. I wish that these units were for sale. I would buy mine's in a heartbeat.
Great neighbors, beautiful spacious apartments, and landscapes
It has been a great experience. The staff is courteous and on it! The exchange is maintained and clean - which I love - beautiful views and set-up - neighbors and residents are chill - I am grateful to live here.
I enjoy living here. It's a clean community I love the walking trails and how it's not a busy apartment community.
It's a peaceful community, and I'm sure much is being done by many to make it a good place to live.
Our experience at The Exchange at Bayfront has been complete satisfaction. We are retired, sold our home last year, and decided to move to an apartment. We love it here and would recommend it to anyone, especially retired people our age who want fewer responsibilities and more relaxation in a very pleasant environment.
Living at the exchange has been a nice experience The place is really pretty, the neighbors are friendly. Maintenance team is awesome And nicky is very nice
The Exchange is a wonderful property. The management team and the maintenance team are truly attentive to the needs of the residents. They genuinely care about the tenants and the property. Nikki (management) and Jordan (maintenance) are jewels here.
El lugar es muy bonito!, los vecinos muy amables, los espacios muy amenos. El departamento esta lindo, se siente seguro.
We definitely would recommend The Exchange at Bayfront to anyone interested in living in an apartment. We recently sold our home, are retired, and did not want the responsibilities involved in home ownership and maintenance. The Exchange at Bayfront has more than fulfilled our goals, and we definitely would recommend living here to anyone and especially to retirees who are looking for a calm and peaceful way of life.
The Exchange is a wonderful place to live. Very modern, clean and friendly place to live. The staff is so responsive to our needs. The neighbors are so friendly. And they accept small pets.
Living at the exchange is an experience of a relax and modern place where you can spend time with loved ones and friends.
The Exchange at Bayfront is one of the best kept secrets of the East Bay. The views of the bay are spectacular, the building is beautiful, and we are right on the SF Bay trail. The JX bus tops right by the building and does a nonstop ride to the Bart. The LYNX bus stop (nonstop rides to downtown SF) is not far. This is a beautiful place to be. I wish that I could buy my unit! We have a few cute eateries and restaurants in the area too.
We have only had good experiences here at The Exchange at Bayfront.
The management team (Nikki and Jordan) are very approachable, professional and responsive. They have immediately addressed our service issues and other concerns were resolved in a timely manner. You can feel that they care about our comfort and security. They take good care of this community and we are happy that we have chosen to reside at The Exchange at Baypoint!
The Exchange at Bayfront community is an awesome place to relax and really call home, it's unbelievable awesome.
Excellent property and maintenance, terrible manager.
My partner and I recently moved here from out of state. The people here are friendly and helpful. We quickly came to speak with the manager and maintenance personnel on a first basis. The only repair we requested lead to a replacement with a new one. We've are enjoying all of the amenities, people and especially the Skybar. If you are looking for a clean, spacious place to live with fantastic views and access to the outdoors, The Exchange is the place.
Lovely apartments, beautiful community areas in the lobby and courtyard. Very responsive to repairs and of course a wonderful location. A little known gem of apartment living overall.
I’ve lived at The Exchange for 8 months and it’s been a pleasure. Nikki in the leasing offices is amazing and always so kind and helpful. The building is well maintained and beautifully kept. Noise has never been an issue for me. It’s dog friendly, and I appreciate that there is space on the property where I can walk my dog. My unit itself is modern with a great view of the bay. Overall, I’m very happy here.
I love living here. The building is clean and modern and I love the view.
The building is well-maintained and clean, staff are courteous and professional
Management doesn’t respond to emails or care about your peace of mind. All they care about is getting you in after that your history Regardless of any concerns or issues with your unit.
I love being apart of this wonderful community. The loft that I live in is very open and welcoming. The facility offers amazing family ambiance but with a very sophisticated atmosphere. I highly recommend The Exchange community.

Overpriced, lackluster management team. All they care about is getting your money, not about anything else. They do just enough to make it seem like they care but nothing more.

apartments are nice and new, however we didn't know until after move-in that there are no windows that open in our apartment!
The property is a hidden gem . Luxury state of the art living experience on the Bay .
Manager was not friendly We ended up cancelling our contract in moving day since she said we have to pay for re-painting the unite after moving out since we do not have plan to stay there for 3 years and the apartments are new. advertised 2 months free are not with listed price. She added around $300 to the listed monthly rent then gave us 2 months free. She said I would take picture of everything and put in your file and if there is even an scratches on them you have to pay for replacement since they are new. She also said we have to pay for internet and cable separately even if we do not use since they have contract with AT&T.

My wife got a job in California and she wanted to move so we found a few apartments before traveling and made appointments to see the apartments. I got one week vacation from my work and was in California on Monday. I saw the apartments and decided to rent it since it was new. Then on Tuesday I went back there and we signed the contract to move in on Thursday. I got insurance and internet and money order as the manager asked. When I was there on Thursday manager said I didn't finalize your contract to confirm something with you. She said you have to pay for cable and internet even if you don't use it because we got for all apartments. I said ok. Then she said if you are not staying at this apartment for 3 years you must pay for repainting and cleaning of the whole unit when you move out and we get your signature to accept it. She showed me a quote for around $3000 for move out. I said I am ok to pay for cleaning at move out and pay for all damages but I can not pay for repainting if there is no damage to the walls. She said no since these are new apartments our policy is charging you for whole painting at move put so we can paint it for new tenants. She was acting like she doesn't want us to move there. So we finally had to cancel it and find another place that I don't like in half a day since I didn't have time to search for another place.
