      With its wide brick sidewalks, mature trees, elegant boutiques, and outdoor dining, Downtown Gainesville celebrates its Southern charm with down-home style. There's even a historic town square with a statue and benches. Gainesville is located along the popular Lake Lanier, a resort destination known for boating, fishing, swimming, and Lanier World water park. It is also a college town, home to Brenau University and the University of North Georgia - Gainesville Campus.

      Downtown Gainesville hosts a wide variety of events and festivals. There's the Spring Chicken Festival, held on the Square and featuring an art market and live music. The highlight of this festival is its chicken -- this is the state's only official chicken cook-off. It also features a unique "Re-Hatched" market -- an arts and crafts market that features artwork made from recycled items. Other events include the Rubber Duck Derby, First Friday summer concerts, and a downtown Beach Bash.

      Love it here; it's a really nice, quality apartment with nice amenities and a perfect spot for new renters. I love the pool and on-site storage for bicycles and pet grooming station. My favorite attraction, though, would have to be the free Starbucks in the front office.

      We love living here and hope to spend many more years in this community. We appreciate the staff and maintenance crew. They are so helpful and friendly. Anytime we have a problem in the apartment, the maintenance staff is on it! It is wonderful to never have to replace a fire alarm battery! We love the amenities, especially the morning coffee. We are retired “old” folks and my husband gets coffee for me every morning. The pool is lovely and we have utilized the exercise room. You can’t beat our location and we enjoy the Midland Greenway and Wilshire Trails. The square and library also nice and convenient. We recommend The Everly to all of our friends.

      My husband and I downsized two years ago and moved to The Everly. After fifty years of marriage, this has proven to be one of our best decisions. We love living here. My husband picks up my coffee every morning and we enjoy free maintenance. It is wonderful to not worry about yard work, appliance repairs, and changing smoke detector batteries! Our unit has a beautiful wrap around porch that we enjoy for most of the year. The apartment is beautiful with nice open windows and huge closets! We travel a lot and enjoy the peace of mind that comes with locking the door and not worrying about having someone check in our house and property. We are walkers and love the proximity to the Midland park and Wilshire Trails. We walk almost everywhere… the library, restaurants, shops, and even a few of our doctors offices. It is a great place to live and we are so glad we moved here.

      I am enjoying living here! When I sold my house, I had planned to live here a year while I built my cottage, but everything is so convenient here with shops and restaurants,I decided to just stay here! My children and grandchildren love to come visit me here! The office staff are so helpful and friendly, and the custodians are amazing!!! I absolutely love it here!

      It’s been great living here! The location is great (you’ll get traffic around 8 am and 5-7pm but nothing horrendous), people are chill and keep to themselves. Gym is good unless you’re a crazy powerlifter. Not many animal issues. The maintenance guy is fantastic. The staff is helpful but can be fairly hard to get in contact with. You don’t hear much of anything through the walls or ceilings

      We love living at The Everly. The management and staff are amazing, the apartment is spacious, and you can’t beat the location. Any problems with the unit are immediately addressed by the onsite maintenance staff. Management immediately takes care of concerns. It is a great place to live. We continue to have two issues- owners or corporate management do not make necessary repairs that are beyond the scope of our maintenance staff and local management.. The cabinet doors in the units need replacing as the finish has pulled away from the wood underneath. All of our cabinet doors are affected. It has gotten worse and they won’t do anything about it. Also, our porch ceiling has had mold and water damage for over a year and they will not approve the repair. We love it here and are living with these issues, but we are paying top dollar for a luxury unit with luxury finishes. We aren’t getting what we pay for. We don’t want to move as we love the location and our unit otherwise.

      This property is beautiful. Along with that, it’s also in a great location. It’s secluded but also close to downtown. The bridge is so convenient. The property is also more affordable than most of the others in the area. I love it here!

      I have only been here for two weeks, and I have come to find that The Everly is the most community oriented place I have ever lived. The welcome I received was beyond what I could have expected. I’ve already used all the amenities here - the gym was great & had everything I needed, the pool was clean & refreshing, the study rooms have been a wonderful place for some quiet time to get work done. I really could not recommend The Everly more.

      We love living at The Everly and have recommended this apartment complex to many friends. The units are beautiful and we love the fact that we don’t have to worry about maintenance issues. We downsized last year, sold our large home, and moved here after visiting about ten apartment complexes. No joke. We enjoy walking to the squares the library, and the park. All we need is a grocery store nearby (like Aldi) and we would walk everywhere. The maintenance crew and office staff are wonderful. They are responsive to any and all concerns. We feel safe and can’t say enough good things about The Everly.

      We love living at The Everly. Our apartment is beautiful with a wonderful wrap around balcony that we use as another living space when the weather permits. As retired downsizers, we appreciate the maintenance free life and the exceptional maintenance staff. They keep everything working in tip top order. We love the amenities… pool, exercise room, free coffee and beer, and our social events. Our new manager has planned eight events for July! We also love the location, we walk across the bridge to downtown almost every evening and we walk the Midland Greenway or the Wilshire Trail daily. We utilize the Gainesville branch of the Hall County Library system on a weekly basis and enjoy all of the downtown activities on the square. All we need is a grocery store (like Aldi) nearby and we would rarely get in our cars. We can’t recommend this place enough!

      Community rules need more aggressive enforcement. Garbage/garbage cans are left out frequently on non-pickup days and at all hours of the day. Also, some residents are in violation of the no-smoking policy; smoking on their balconies and in their apartments - the hallways frequently smell of marijuana. Residents should be encouraged to keep the common areas clean! Hallways are often littered with trash and other debris. Residents should also be encouraged to be respectful of their neighbors. The other day my neighbor brushed his dog on his balcony and a huge ball of fur flew onto my balcony and into my face. He just shrugged his shoulders and walked back into his apartment. I wish the property manager would hire someone to clean the floors in the hallways; they are stained with previously leaked garbage and other spills/leaks. It really distracts from the property’s appearance. We love living here but some things (above) that could make the experience even more enjoyable.

      The Everly is the best located complex in Gainesville. Although it may be slightly more expensive than other apartments in town, it has twice the amenities and it very well maintained. The staff are very friendly and quick to help with any issues.

      Best part of The Everly is its location. The apartment design is actually pretty good but, considering the quality of the furnished appliances and overall condition of the property - rent is really too high for what you get. Expect to have to clean your apartment yourself upon move-in - ours was filthy! If there is existing damage to appliances or the apartment itself, expect to live with it since management has no interest in repairing existing damages.

      We love living here at The Everly and hope to stay here for many years. We love our apartment, the staff, the amenities, the convenience to downtown and walking trails, and the way our maintenance staff responds to any issues. We have friends who have moved here due to our influence. We enjoy meeting new people in the common areas and the gym. We hang out with friends in the lounge area and enjoy a free beverage. The Starbucks coffee machine is an amazing perk along with other selections. We downsized from a large home and haven’t regretted our decision. Our grandchildren think we live in a resort hotel and we do, too!

      Resort Living for the Retired Individual

      We could not be happier with our move to The Everly. Our unit is beautiful, closets are huge, the kitchen is modern and open, and we love the outdoor balcony area. We have a corner unit and the views are amazing. The management and maintenance staffs are wonderful. They respond quickly to maintenance requests and work to make sure we are satisfied. It is great to be so close to downtown for walking, eating out, visiting the library, and doing a bit of shopping. We love this place and are thankful w decided to move here.
