Property Ratings at The Encore SouthPark
The Encore is just a wonderful place to live. The only real complaint I would have is the elevators. They are very slow in terms of waiting to catch one, especially when everyone is leaving for or getting home from work. I don?t understand why the builder didn?t put in a fourth elevator, by itself or next to another (perhaps the freight).
I think there are a lot more positives than negatives. The building and facilities are kept clean, great amenities, very secure, wonderful neighbors. The only gripes I have with the neighborhood are very nitpicky. In a perfect world, we would have less events on site which in turn would ideally lower my rent, but I do really appreciate the option to attend these events.
Convenient location, well insulated building, good mix of people, nice amenities and cleanliness /maintenance of building.
It feels like home. Residents take tremendous pride in their community and greet one another with a smile. We feel incredibly safe and secure in this community.

The BEST apartment community and staff ever and I have lived in a lot of apartments so that is saying alot :). If the interior paint, bedroom carpet, and kitchen pendant Lights were updated it would be perfect. Staff is beyond great.
This is a terrific place. I love the location, the floor plans and all amenities the place offers. Plus, the leasing professional was absolutely great and very helpful.
We looked at 18 apartment complexes and chose The Encore for a number of reasons - location, the staff, the amenities among them, along with the apartment itself of course. Their events like food truck Thursday, free buffets, Krispy Kreme donuts, and many more proved how much they were willing to do for residents and they did it.
It is a lovely community with professional, friendly, and attentive staff.
Staff and responsiveness are far superior to any who I have encountered with an apartment complex.
Complaints and rules are attended to quietly and efficiently.
Maintenance at the Encore has always been better than other places we've lived. You guys are great!

great amenities prompt service when needed
It is a great complex with terrific amenities and a quite atmosphere. I hear very little when I am in my apartment. The place is clean and well kept.

I picked Encore thinking I would be paying for the extra amenities and security it lists. However, they never work or often break down. I have been in my apartment for over 3 months and have been dissatisfied with how much I pay and what I get. The "conference room" does not have a wifi printer and the computers do not have Microsoft, so it is useless. The gym workout technology has not worked since I have been here. Coffee machines are not cleaned regularly so in the morning there will be no coffee and you have wait on the staff to get in to work (banker hours). Way too many dogs for such a small area. Security is a joke, the first two months there were many bikes stolen from the garage and cars broken into. The last two weeks there have been quite a few officers here, one morning woke up to six unmarked cars and a CSI vehicle.

The Encore has everything you could possibly want, and then some. The amenities are amazing, and all other essential needs are within minutes reach!
The staff is fantastic, the place is always clean, and the location is central to get to a lot of places around Charlotte.
It is very quiet and the staff is great. Just needs some money put back into it to make the amenities usable.
Loved that the structure was much more than we expected in apartment living, all the amenities , feeling safe and location.

The Encore was the best apartment that we have ever lived in. The staff was friendly and quick to meet all of our needs. The complex was always clean and full of excellent amenities. Our favorite amenities included the gym, roof top pool, coffee stations, weekly brunches, and the proximity to the mall. We bragged about our apartment to all of our friends. Out of everything we could miss in Charlotte, the Encore will be what we will miss the most.
If you want no hassles, nobody entering your apartment when you are not there, your packages delivered, a great mail man who appears to know the tenant, come over and visit and you will want to move right in.

If you are sensitive to cigarette smoke, you should be careful about renting here. The complex has experienced frequent problems with smokers and has limited ability to prevent or stop them. If you decide to move in after all, be prepared to purchase a good air purifier.
Hardwood floor. Cant hear the neighbors. Open floor plan. Closet and bathroom big enough. The bathroom fixtures are good. Safe. Office stuffs are absolute delight to work with.
