Property Ratings at The Element @ St Andrews
We moved in the Mid-May and still waiting on an AC issue and water leak with possible mold issue, maintenance is very slow to complete the work. Had to call the management office again today.
I’ve only lived here a few months and it’s so far so good. There are a few things that are not the best but I learned to work with it

Thank you for your feedback. We are happy to hear your first few months have been positive overall. We strive to continuously improve our community.
The staff is very accommodating and my overall experience living here has been pleasant. The rent is affordable for the area and you’re close to everything you need to be in town. My unit was recently renovated and they have always been helpful with any maintenance issues. I’d highly recommend this property.

We're overjoyed to hear about your great experience at The Element @ St. Andrews! Thank you for recommending our property.
Jasmine the Assistant Property manager is THE BEST! She has went above and beyond on multiple occasions when I needed assistance. Also her co-worker Sydney is great at making sure things get done the right way if Jasmine is too busy. New management is also great and the maintenance men do their best to fix things fast!

We are overjoyed to hear about your positive experience with our new management team at The Element @ St. Andrews. Thank you for sharing your feedback!
I lived here for a year. Thankfully moved out early about 6 months ago. I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone, but especially not if you are a single woman. I had 3 creeps, complete strangers, ask me if I "needed a ride." It's not super dangerous, but definitely run-down. Management is not there to help you because staff doesn't get paid enough to do so. There are better places around here that you can pay the same rent for. Unless you are homeless and need ANY place to live, do NOT go to Edison Pointe. They either need to up their game or demolish the place all together.
If you need maintenance you could be waiting for up to 6 weeks. No follow up. They don’t answer your calls or care. If you’re coming for the pool don’t waste your time it was open maybe 10 days out of the two years we’ve been here. Water heater goes out often. Twice we have been without heat. I can’t wait until my lease is up.

With the information provided, we are unable to reach out to you. Please call our leasing office so we can learn more!
Maintainance never comes on time when you call them and when they do, they always do a half done job. The renting office doesn't seem to care either. They keep charging us gas even though we pay nipsco directly ourselves. Poor management

Hi Coco and thank you for your feedback. While we can’t identify your relationship to our community, we can tell you that we do not bill for gas in addition to being billed by the local utility company. We’d be happy to discuss further with you directly, so please contact us at your earliest convenience. Thanks!
Many things went wrong. The plumbing, a leaking ceiling, terrible blinds (that they replaced and they fell off again), and just terrible staff in general. They tried to overcharge us several time. They basically refused to fix the leaking ceiling that was dripping onto our toothbrushes. We requested maintenance to fix it about 30 times and they never did (once they painted over the leak...). And then when we left they charged us over $1000 for new carpet despite the fact that we left the carpet in exactly the same way we got it. They are just terrible money grabbing people. It's not worth living there. They don't care about you and will squeeze every penny from you.
Poor maintenance. Apartment complex floods every year and the staff and ownership don't care to improve drainage. AVOID!!! I have lived in this apartment for nearly 2 years and the complex has flooded twice. I lost 2 cars and have had the contents of my garage flooded twice as well. I'm lucky I didn't live on the 1st floor and lose the contents of my apartment. The attitude of the staff on site and the inaction to resolve the issue is astonishing. Today 2/20/18, the apartment complex is flooding again and the staff does not want to take action. This is not an isolated weather event. The drainage setup for the apartment complex has serious flaws and needs to be addressed by a professional. If you value your cars and other belongings DO NOT live here. Sidewalks not shoveled on weekends.
The Staff is very nice. They have a couple of computers to use for residents who do not have access to one. The fitness and swimming area are awesome. They offer different floor plan selections to fit your price range.
I have lived at Edison Pointe for about 2.5 years now and highly recommend it. The complex itself is well taken care of and maintained. Though rent prices (for the area) are generally fairly high, Edison Pointe provides the highest quality apartments for the price range. I've had a few maintenance issues come up over the years (leaky faucet, broken lock..) and staff (who are super friendly!) are usually at my door within 24 hours to get them taken care of. I am very happy with my continuing choice to live at this complex.
Needs modern updating. Beware if you have a maintenance request, on two separate occasions, employees barged into the apartment without even knocking! This is a huge lack of professionalism and privacy. Also note that they allow residents to smoke on property, so there will be piles of cigarette butts outside your building. It's disgusting.
Do yourself a favor and apply for an apartment at Edison pointe apartments. Second floor looks out to beautiful pond. Building is secured with in door hallways lighted with chandelier lighting. Indoor and outdoor pool and gym with plenty of parking. Very close to major shopping district and schools. Just a very nice place to live. 2 bedroom, 2 bath going for approx. $700 a month
Just moved into this 2 bedroom apartment on second floor with a bath and a half and very big walk in closet. Rent is reasonable and includes gas which is nice. Washer and dryer included also. The complex has an indoor and outdoor pool, and a small gym. The balcony looks out to a pond with fountain. We are located literally less than 5 minutes from major shopping and the university of notre dame.
