The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Edge
Avoid this place at all costs, I moved out and they cleared me as being good. Then 4 months later I get a notice from a collections agency that I have an outstanding debt. They charged me 2.3k for floor damage without ever attempting to contact me and after telling me everything was good to go, and they knew I was moving cross country. Funnily enough they didn't respond to any letters sent by my attorney either when I disputed the debt. I've been in multiple different apartments and this is the only one I've ever had try and pull this sort of stunt.

We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Due to the anonymous nature of this review, we are unable to identify you and look into this matter. Additionally, we have not received any contact from an attorney. Final accounts that have not been settled are sent to collections after 30 days. Renter's insurance often covers floor damage, and we encourage you to file a claim with your provider. If you would like to discuss this directly, please email us at corporatecontact@alapts.com and we will be happy to review your charges with you. We wish you well in your new home.
Awesome pool and great staff. Dog parks, walking trail with ponds! Great views from apartments. You won't regret it!

Thank you for sharing your happiness with our community and highlighting our dog parks, enjoyable walking trails, and gorgeous views. We are thrilled to have you here.
My husband and I moved in at the beginning of the year and have enjoyed our place. The private yard is perfect for our dogs and the pond view makes it so peaceful.

It is lovely to hear that you and your husband have so enjoyed your first few months with us. Thank you for letting us know that your private yard and our peaceful atmosphere have added to your experience! We look forward to seeing you, your husband, and your dogs around the community for many years to come.
I shouldn’t have to be stressed every day about which amenity the apartment complex is going to withhold from me that week. An apartment complex is supposed to work with its residents, not blame every issue on them. The trash compactor is broken because the residents piled their trash up on top of the compactor? Where was maintenance to MAINTAIN the area? Maintenance barely does anything around here. Bare minimum effort from the staff. The residents should be expected to uphold the community guidelines, I get that. But punishing ALL the residents for a problem FEW contributed to is outrageous and unfair. Don’t even think you’ll be having a fun summer at the pool here. Every time it rains, the office shuts this amenity down for days on end with little to no explanation. If they do provide an explanation, they typically blame the residents for “overuse” of the pool which led to an offset in the pool water's chemical balance. Or, they blame the closure on the abundance of trash that’s been left in the surrounding pool area. But, they won’t solve that problem by simply ordering more trash cans. Rather, they expect all residents to use one tiny trash can for the ENTIRE WEEKEND. No wonder it overflows. We’ve had to start bringing our own trash containers to the pool in slim hopes it will prevent the pool from closing the following week. It’s disgusting how this place treats their residents. It’s unlawful to withhold amenities to the residents who PAY (a lot) to use them. Don’t live here. Save your sanity and go somewhere with better management, better maintenance staff, and better morals.

If you love bugs, trash problems, and in friendly staff then this is the place for you. Valet trash costs you $25/month and they may or may not pick it up. If they don’t you will have bugs from trash being in the breezeway. Trash pile ups in the compactor area. Let’s not talk about the dog messes.

Not fixing problems that have been going on for months and having some of the worst staff known to man

Thank you for your review. Since you have posted anonymously, we are unable to research your concerns. We do not currently have any open maintenance requests, so please contact us at edge@alapts.com so we can ensure that your needs are met.
Pool never opened, security gates not working, dog poop everywhere, trash valet often a no show. Dumpster overflow for days, Dog stations down, sometimes have to park bldgs away although carports for a fee remain unused. Mail room pkg lockers often down. Landscaping maintenance is done around the clubhouse but residents are not maintained- lawns mowed infrequently but that’s it. Lack of or no communication to residents on issues/status/updates that we pay EXTRA for!!! Gimme a break…almost 6 months later problems not fixed and you want to raise our rent 15+%. Tired of hearing “we’re doing the best we can” …. …. Well the best is subpar
Property Manager at The Edge, Responded To This Review
Thank you for providing a review. We want all of our residents to have an outstanding living experience, and we are actively working to address these concerns. Unfortunately, after our initial repair to the gate, a resident hit it, and it has to be entirely replaced. Regarding the pool, our vendor has been waiting on a part to replace the entire filtration system as well as the fuses necessary to bring it up to code. We have alerted our grounds team to your concerns about upkeep. Our Luxer lockers have been operational continuously since March, and we provided several notices about work in residents' homes along with contact information for rescheduling if necessary. If you have experienced any concerns that we are not aware of, please let us know at edge@alapts.com.
Do you like to pay more and get less? Then the edge is the apartment for you. I absolutely loved this complex before the new management took over, now we have higher rent and constant “renovations” that look awful and have no consideration for your time. The pool has been close all summer, dog poop every where, verbally abusive neighbors that management won’t help with, infested with various insects (even though we pay pest control fee) trash just builds up in front of the trash compactor, oh and all this at a 15% rent hike. Literally anywhere else would be better.

Thank you for connecting with us. We endeavor to maintain seamless service throughout our transition, and we are sorry to learn that you have not been happy with our team's response to your concerns about your neighbors and the upkeep of the community. If you would like to discuss these matters further, we invite you to contact us at corporatecontact@alapts.com.
This place has gone extremely downhill extremely fast. The pool has been closed for months, and when asked management tells you “they’re waiting on a part. It’ll be 2 weeks.” They’ve had the same excuse for the gates not working. “We’re waiting on the part to come in. It’ll be 2 weeks.” Management is very passive aggressive, and hardly ever willing to help/ pick up the phone. There is trash everywhere, dog poop everywhere. Trash service hardly runs on the days that it’s supposed to run- but you’re still required to pay a $25 valet fee plus a $5 trash fee every month. You’ll also pay a $3 pest fee monthly but this place is full of spiders, roaches, etc. They recently did “renovations” to the property that took almost a month for the team to complete- and was more of a headache than the renovations are worth. The renovations are the cheapest they could get by with and still classify them as renovating the units. The community is awful, there are kids running up and down the breezeways of all times of day. And they are raising rent. Absolutely awful community. Would never recommend living here. If I could give no stars, I would.
Property Manager at The Edge, Responded To This Review
Thank you for reaching out. As you mentioned, the pool has been closed while our vendor has waited for a part. The gate was fixed, but a resident ran into it, and it was so badly damaged that it needs to be replaced entirely. We are making every reasonable effort to address these matters as quickly as possible, and we are sorry for any inconvenience. It is also unfortunate to hear that you have not been pleased with the service you have received from our team, and we would like an opportunity to discuss your observations with you so we can uplift your experience. When you have a chance, please contact us at edge@alapts.com.
This place has gone downhill fast since new management has taken over and the name changed to The Edge. The pool has been closed all summer. Gates do not function. Rent has increased by 15%. If you have another option, I would highly encourage you to look elsewhere.
Great location, amazing staff, cool maintenance guys
The staff here is INCREDIBLE! The front office is so kind and always helpful! They service guys are outstanding and prompt to any issues you may have which we’ve noticed are WAY less than other places we have lived. They were so welcoming to our little 10 month old and always entertain him when they see him. The amenities are great (especially the Starbucks machine). The interior and exterior of the apartment itself is beautiful. We loved having an accent wall in our apartment so it’s not just all white walls everywhere! This place is incredible and I 10/10 recommend this being your next home!!
This is my first time living in an apartment and I needed to find a pet friendly one. Vantage is the only one I found that has your own private fenced yard! Zozan and the rest of the office staff are extremely accommodating and friendly. Maintenance is quick to respond to problems and keep the common areas and grounds very clean. For first time apartment living, I picked a great place!
