Property Ratings at The Eclipse Apartment Homes
I would advise you to not live here. This place is so underfunded that nothing gets done. What was once likely a nice property is descending into junk. The maintenance team is basically non-existent. You'll wait months for crucial work and eternity for smaller items. I went without AC for 2 weeks in the summer and another 10 days without heat this December. I also had a period where I had ants in the attic crawling into my bathroom vent for over 3 months. Currently, my furnace breaker trips 2-3 times a day; nobody seems too concerned about the fire hazard. Nobody takes care of the property grounds. The edges are defined by litter. The grassy areas have been ruining by lazy dog owners. It'd likely be better if there was more than 1 dog trash bin or if the large trash bins were ever anything but overflowing. The sidewalk often has broken glass. The amenities are poor. The dog park is properly sized for 10 pound dogs, but even if you have a tiny dog it is often unusable because of the trash. The tennis court is cracked and beat up. It'd be impossible for tennis or pickleball. The pool was closed for 2 weeks this past summer for a health violation. The actual violation was never discussed with residents. There was just a sign added to the entry and then removed. The apartment furnishings are also outdated. Neither the AC nor the water heater can keep up. Even the water pressure is terrible. We ended up buying a window AC to get the bedroom below 80 degrees in the summer. Don't ask to see my electric bill. It's over double than my past 4 addresses. Even on months where nobody is home for 2 weeks with devices unplugged, I still run over $100. Finally, the office doesn't seem to have the authority to get anything done. As mentioned above, they can't seem to get maintenance to do their job. They can't even bother to answer emails nor keep track of executed lease. I'd also encourage the "owner" to not respond to this post by asking me to call the office. The office has never once answered my phone calls nor responded to a voicemail.

I have lived in the same building now for over 10 years. Within the last 1 1/2 years, we have been fighting cockroaches that was caused by a tenant (7 people in a 2 bdrm apartment). We have emptied our entire kitchen, bathrooms 3 times now and there are still COCKROACHES ! How bout using a different company? With my sister and my age, it's a hard job. We pay far too much to have to deal with this any longer. WE NEED RESOLUTION TO THIS ! COCKROACHES are dirty nasty bugs that carry disease ! HELP !!!
Been here since June and been having issues the whole time. First on our move in date the apartment wasn’t even ready. No appliances paint wasn’t finish no showers. Was not even close to being move in ready. Then not even a week later the whole apartment building had roaches and flys and gnats. We try to let them fix the problem but 4 months later same issue still here. Now today I was told to come to the office to talk about what options we have with their corporate management. And now they closed their office before 3pm and they supposed to close at 6pm. Will update what happens next.
I came here to edit my initial review. After I spoke with Alexis, they replaced the AC within the week and it's been working pretty good. She is so professional, nice and helpful. I appreciate it a lot. They also fixed the potholes in the area.
I’ve been here for a little over a year now & I can honestly say the staff in the office & maintenance is what makes living here so pleasant. Whenever I have any issues with the apartment their staff gets it taken care of right away! ~Melissa
We have had a great experience so far! The apartment is very spacious and we have lots of parking spots! They are kept clean and we have literally EVERYTHING around the corner!
This complex was wonderful when I moved in 4 years ago. Then three years ago it was SO WRONG!! New manager, Alexis, has changed it back to being my home not just an apartment!! She cares and it shows! Thank you!
The things they do for the community is top tier ??
Very spacious, and multifunctional floorplans. Never have issues when I need any maintenance.
I enjoy living at The Eclipse. Dana, Alexis & Taylor are helpful in the office and always willing to solve any issues that arise with good communication. My apartment is spacious and renovated and all the neighbors I’ve met are nice.
I’ve lived here for 9 years. Large closets, large rooms. I have not had any issues and whenever I turned in a work order it was answered either the same day or next. I feel safe and the location is wonderful!
I have lived here for a year and I really enjoy being here. The office staff is friendly and easy to work with. When my maintenance requests are always fulfilled in a timely manner. The area is nice and kept up
I move here due to location I have not had any problems that have not been taken care of.. nice comfortable place to live. These rent prices are just outrageous…. But that’s everywhere it just sucks…. I wish rent would go back down.
The maintenance guys are great- they really care. The last place I was at had one maintenance guy who seemed like he hated working, and that we owed him favors for him helping fix problems. The management is also simply wonderful. Dana and Alexis are passionate and kind. Any problem that my girlfriend points out, they’re quick to rectify. They want you to be happy and will do whatever it takes to make that possible. Sometimes, the out-sourced contractors take a little too long to get here but everything that’s actually in the hands of the Eclipse is handled with great care and attention to detail. The property is gorgeous. Honestly feels out of place a bit, but I’m not complaining. All in all, I’m so happy I moved here. It’s relaxed. People cooking on patios. Waving to neighbors. So different from my previous apartments where we weren’t sure if a car was backfiring, a firework was bursting, or a gun was firing (toss-up, really) The Eclipse is legitimately the best place you can move for the price you’re going to pay
I recently moved here last week. AC was not cooling when I arrived. I was reasonable enough to give them time to fix it. They shouldn't even let a resident move in an apartment without a working AC in the first place. IT'S THE MIDDLE OF SUMMER! They fixed it the next day but after 2 days it was not working again. I kept on following up and was being patient about it. NOW, IT'S BEEN 6 DAYS AND I STILL DON'T HAVE A WORKING AC. It is unacceptable and poses threat to health esp this summer. I even asked for a portable AC/fan and they said they didn't have one. Management doesn't care at all. I don't usually give review but this is too much. Plus, they have pot holes everywhere, poorly renovated rooms, definitely looks old. I don't feel safe. LOOK FOR ANOTHER PLACE.
Apartments are nice and staff are friendly good area
The staff is absolutely wonderful they are so helpful! I love my my residence is always well-maintained and I love my townhouse!
I’ve been living here since August 2020 and decided to resign a new lease. Convenient Location, fairly quiet community. One of the best complexes in the area
I have lived here for about 7 months now and I can honestly say that any issues I've had are handled relatively quickly.
Nice quiet place to live, and a great school district. There is very close shopping, grocery and more. Highly recommend Eclipse Apartment
The front office staff is good they r very polite and it's a quiet neighborhood.
Great service and homes lots of room for my family to grow and thrive
I have lived here for 5 years now and I can honestly say this new management shows they care. Old management wouldn't let me transfer units even though I was willing to pay the transfer fee. I came back back in the office to ask again and to my surprise Alexis said we can. Thank you Alexis. You have been so kind over the years! I will continue to be a happy Resident if Alexis is the Property Manager.
Alexis and Dana in the office are so kind and the newly renovated apartments are beautiful. I love my new home! Thank you ladies!
I have been so happy here for over 4 years it’s a great location and they have recently been making updates and changes
The apartment town homes are nice and large. I been living here for about 8 years now. Since I've been here, this property has been through more changes than I can count. Each time a new management company comes on board the rules change. Each time a new ownership occurs, rules change and one of the rules is quite unfair. Social security pays throughout the month based on your last name the new management company doesn't care about the hardship they are causing the tennets who can't pay on the first and charging 100 late fees and additional fees each day afterwards. My experience with these new owners is terrifying and stressful because they don't care.
The service is horrible, they barely answer the phone when calling the office. They’re never in the office and they tell you to email them and they don’t respond. Worst place to rent, the price is too high for the poor service that’s given. The floor makes noise every step you take and they can’t even keep the parking lot clean. Cheap service and high prices!!! Wished I never rented here!
Don't get your hopes up with a response from the office. Doesn't matter how many voicemails you leave. They do not care about you.
I thought this was going to be a nice apartment complex but I really should have checked my apartment before I signed the lease. While I was sitting in the leasing office, before I even saw an apartment, a tenant called trying to get something done. They had obviously been trying to get the maintenance done for a while as they were annoyed about having to call repeatedly. They told the tenant that the complex is under new management and the head of maintenance is new like it was a good thing. They then bad-mouthed the tenant and called her difficult, with me right there. I now see that the only way to get things done is to be “difficult” otherwise they’ll just ignore you and make up excuses. I signed my lease and then came down to see my apartment to find it half put together. The carpet wasn't finished being put in. Whoever did the hard floors got adhesive all over the floors themselves, and the walls. The sticky patches show no signs of going away after 5 weeks. I was supposed to have all new black appliances to find out once I was here that they aren’t replacing the old old dishwasher “because it’s already black” and my fridge has a huge visible dent on the top right side like so bad it looks like someone dropped it off the truck. They were here with me. They said they would get it fixed. They got the floors finished being put in but that's it’s. They just ignored the adhesive all over the floors and haven’t done anything about it. They’ve been “checking warranty information” on the fridge for 5 weeks and have done no follow up with me after attempting to find out what was going on multiple times. Now they are blaming it on the pandemic. Said they’ll take care of it after this all dies down even though they had 4 weeks before they even posted anything about only doing emergency work orders. There are a ton of apartment complexes around this area. Choose a different one. This one will do nothing to help you once you've signed the lease, except call you difficult and continue to ignore you anyway.
Their “renovations” were basically just painting old cabinets. Painted counter tops. They still couldn’t cover up some of the grunge, especially on the bathroom tiles. Apartments were so close together. The pool was green and they said they were still going to open it for swimming in an hour. Tons of extra fees on top of advertised rent.
