Property Ratings at The Eastern
Pictures are deceiving! It looks nothing like this.
Normally I won’t write a poor review, but I can’t get a hold of anyone and this isn’t the first time. If you call the office, don’t expect an answer or a call being returned. Same goes for email. If the pool gate is actually open, the door to the bathrooms won’t be. There’s a broken light with exposed cords in the pool right now. I waited down there for an hour for someone from “emergency maintenance” however no one showed. I’ve tried contacting management, maintenance, everything and no response. It’s part of the cost for rent to have the amenities listed. However, there’s also no community garden nor is there a business center. The ceilings aren’t high ceilings either as listed. Their advertisements and listed perks must be for an entirely different complex. Let me just say, Tracey is the exception! She is wonderful! As well as the maintenance man in the deep purple car, he’s incredibly helpful too!
Maintenance is terrible! They do not fix anything, do not pick up trash in the lots nor do they care about trash overloads!!! Office is terrible with communication then make issues your fault!

I really love living here with my family. Been here for over 2 years. Very nice and convenient. I love the staff. Whenever I have an issue they are so quick to take care of the job. Yes, I would recommend staying here. About to renew my lease again.
maintenance sucks here !!!! i been here 3 months and have put in request for work to be done & not once had maintenance came !!
I would recommend this apartment complex to others because it's a very nice and calm place. It has very great features and meets all standards that they have to give.
Do not come here if you are looking for professionalism and a safe environment. Every staff member is unprofessional. Maintenance guy got upset when i asked if he could fix my heat before the cold front.
Current office staff seems appropriate at times. They updated rent office and left everything else outdated and terrible! The only way you are guaranteed a new unit is if yours catch on fire and they are forced to fix it! And they threaten you about renters insurance to pay for repairs. Keep 911 on speed dial because people lurk the parking areas at night and creep around your home!!! Please ask them to show you an actual apartment instead of model home because it's FALSE ADVERTISING! Also check half patched holes, several of my neighbors have moved because they were sharing their homes with rodents! I am willing to buy out my newly signed lease to get away from here! Changing the name of this location doesn't do them any justice!
I really dislike this area. If you are looking for a safe place for your family, this area or apartments are not it. My downstairs neighbor apartment was shot at, the 3 bullet holes in the window was not fixed in a timely manner. The maintenance is lazy and the management is horrible. There is a lot of violence in this area. I am moving I lived here for 4 years, this was my starter apartment moving from Miami, FL, the rent was great but I would rather pay more to live in a better area.
Apartments need remodeling.Amenities not up to date. Rodents present.maintenance respond in efficient manner. Office staff very pleasant.
