I have been here for only 2 weeks and I have enjoyed living here so far (albeit the typical apartment noise and traffic noise due to the complex’s proximity to the freeway). The amenities are clean and modern. I like how close I am to my job. I love how big the windows are to maximize all the light my apartment can get during the day. The leasing team has been helpful and patient with all my questions since I have moved here too, especially Sage. She was constantly answering my calls even before I moved. Vito was also very prompt with my maintenance requests during my first week here and taught me some things about my unit that I wasn’t aware of. I look forward to the rest of my stay here :).

Under no circumstances should you move here! Choosing this property and management group has been the biggest leasing mistake I’ve ever made. The Dylan has been nothing short of a nightmare. My locked storage unit was robbed TWICE, encountered rats and roaches both inside and outside the property, and witnessed drug addicts openly using on the property. Save yourself the agony and look elsewhere! Also, I moved out only a few months ago so there’s zero personal gain from making this post. I’m sincerely hoping this post will prevent others from making the same mistake.

The units are very nice and cheaper then most apartments in the area. Lots of great amenities and located close to downtown.

Terrible experience with this building. Received a final statement after moving out and they are charging me $165 for "utilities" when I have paid every month, taking it from my deposit that I now have no control over. The manager Sydney reviewed this final statement and signed it without double checking my past utility payments. Now it's Wednesday and I have not heard back from them after I have been trying to contact them since Friday after I have emailed and called numerous times. Avoid this building. They are money hungry and do not care about you.

Dylan is a new development on South Waterfront. There is no view of river itself from the complex but it is super close to the water. It is in a safe and clean community with easy access to public transit street cars that go into town and electric bike rental. The community has a lot of important amenities for safety and comfort.

If you are interested in living on the south waterfront, consider The Dylan. If you are an OHSU employee looking for the easiest commute ever, this is the neighborhood for you! My husband and I have only lived here for a couple weeks, but we love being part of the new and growing community here at The Dylan. It’s a brand new building and everything is so nice.
