TERRIBLE. Runs fire alarm for hours on end MULTIPLE TIMES PER SEMESTER. Especially bad because many times this occurs during midterm season, AND THE FIRE ALARM TEST RUNS FOR THE ENTIRE DAY. UNBELIEVABLE. What idiot thinks fire alarms should be run for multiple hours on end? Basically for the where the fire alarm is being run, you cannot even be in the apartment; might as well just reimburse the rent for those days as well ya think? DO NOT RENT HERE AT ANY COST. Horrible apartments and idiotic management.

It's a refreshingly bright, and welcoming place to come home to. My apartment feels spacious and light. It's a place where I can relax or work and opens onto a tranquil, courtyard for a visit with a friend or a peaceful spot to read. And the friendliness of the management and other staff creates a sense of care and support. I'm looking forward to post-Covid days when the stunning roof-top view becomes available again for residents and friends to enjoy the famous Berkeley sunsets on the Bay.

Fantastic staff... Super friendly and always helpful. I've loved every moment living here.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time living at The Dwight. The apartment complex has everything you need, from amenities such as in unit washers and dryers to accessible community rooms and a stunning view from the rooftop terrace. In addition, the management team is one of the best in Berkeley apartment living. They are incredibly informative, accommodating, and approachable, ultimately creating a community environment and making life at The Dwight a dream. I would highly recommend living at The Dwight to anyone interested in Berkeley apartment living!
The building itself is really nice and new. It's also pet friendly and I like the dog washing station (actually very convenient) and the dog yard. My boyfriend goes to school so it's easy for him to walk to campus, and it's near public transportation so I walk to bart and take it to downtown Oakland. We haven't had a chance to use the roof deck yet but plan to have friends to BBQ this summer.
My roommate and I must have been one of the first ones to move in here. The application process went really smoothly and the staff was very helpful. The building is really nice and our unit has a pretty view of the bay. The location is very central and it's easy to get to class. The unit itself is great because of the washing machine inside the unit. It's really bright and airy with the light colored hardwood floors and white kitchen cabinets. It's quiet at night, too. We didn't get parking yet but we are thinking about it.
