With its old-growth shade trees and 100-year-old refurbished homes, the Midtown neighborhood of Omaha combines a sense of old-world charm with proximity to downtown and the University of Nebraska-Omaha, both of which are directly east of the neighborhood. Within Midtown Omaha, many renters opt for the smaller neighborhood of Midtown Crossing, a 16-acre development that mixes apartments, restaurants, and shops for a true live-work-play environment.
Many residents choose Midtown Omaha for its short commute time to the University of Nebraska Medical Center and other downtown destinations. After taking a stroll under the expansive trees of Midtown, head to Turner Park to enjoy Jazz on the Green concerts or stop at some of Omaha's finest restaurants for a bite. Residents head to the Grey Plume in Midtown Crossing for its innovative menu or the Crescent Moon Ale House to enjoy its friendly pub atmosphere.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Davenport Apartments
Lived here for over 2 years with previous owners. No problems, excellent maintenance practices, and they kept the inside, and outside looking very good! Then in April 2021 or so new owners took over, Quad P LLC. New ownership instituted online maintenance submissions, as well as messaging and rental payments. Have submitted 2 maintenance requests, one for clogged bathroom sink, the other for tiles falling off of my shower walls. Response to my first request required a 2 week wait, then a message to management before my clogged sink was fixed. 2nd request had initial response the next business day when a repairman took a look at my shower walls and indicated he would need to do a nearly complete renovation of the walls, which he expected to begin within a week or so. 4 weeks later, no contact from repair person or management, so when I ran into an owner in the hall I asked about the delay. He had no knowledge of why, but indicated he would have the repair person contact me soon. 10 days later, and no contact from anyone! When I messaged management concerning the delay and lack of them updating me, it was not well received. Today a very angry and upset manager confronted me and indicated I should leave as soon as possible. The good news is that when faced with my annoyance after 5 weeks of not being able to shower ( I could bathe) management indicated I could leave my lease early with no penalty. So, will be leaving after the end of the month! An aside, I think that was their plan all along. Next door apartment has sat empty for 4 months, and there are other in the buildings empty with only one even for rent. My recommendation: Do NOT rent from Quad P LLC!
