Norcross is a small suburban community located about 30 minutes northeast of downtown Atlanta. Three of the region’s major thoroughfares (Interstate 85, Buford Highway, and Peachtree Industrial Boulevard) connect Norcross to Atlanta proper, giving folks easy access to the larger city for work or leisure. While mainly residential, Norcross does feature an attractive downtown area filled with unique shops and eateries, and residents enjoy prime access to the international restaurants and grocery stores along Buford Highway.

Unfair rent options trash not being picked up. I put it out when I wake up. The trash is still there. Some people are not putting the trash in the right trash bin.

Overall, it's good. However, the stairs are always full of trash and smell like marijuana. It’s disgusting and clearly not maintained. More improvements can be done!

So far has been the greatest i really enjoy living here almost 2 years since we moved and were loving it. It's been wonderful amenities are ok. The pool is amazing can't wait for the summer.

I have been living here over a year now and all the reviews I've submitted are still accurate till date. Still a good place to raise kids, still a quiet place to live, still a responsive and prompt management team, still a brilliant idea with the on-site manager thing, still a strict approach towards adhering to clauses on the lease agreement. I could go on and on. My hope is they don't tone down on these positives.

Great overall experience! The green space is my favorite area. The pool is super clean and is open all year around. The apartment complex is super close to a lot of great restaurants.

The ceilings are high and the windows in both the living room and bedroom are tall and let plenty of light in. However, the windows take up almost 2/3rds of the outer walls in each room which can be “drafty” especially on very cold winter nights.

I still do not up to this point regret coming to stay here. Prompt and responsive management team, love the idea of the on-site manager as well. I will implore them to not tone down on the strict approach to not let residents breach their lease clauses.

I really appreciate The Darnell thinking about residents' safety by preparing the road entrance before the snow storm. The roads and sidewalks were safe to be on. They always communicate any notices and make sure the community is aware of everything being communicated.

The complex is overall great with friendly staff and clean amenities. The walkways between apartments have gotten messy with trash juices and even what looks like blood stains but other than that the units are well maintained. Any maintenance request is handled within 48 hours usually.

The Darnell Apartments has improved some communication qualities. The amenities are great, but the gym is sometimes a mess because residents do not properly put the equipment back. It has been a pleasant stay in a calm and quiet community, where the atmosphere is respectful and people tend to keep to themselves, which I find very appreciated. The front office has demonstrated excellent communication skills, ensuring that residents are informed, particularly regarding the timely trash collection. It’s okay, the pool is closed and my children and I enjoy the pool, but other residents broke glass all over the pool area so they have to make sure it’s safe before it opens. Every time I’d like to grill, the grills are already taken. There’s no sign up list, the grills are first come first serve. The property manager is rude. Overall it’s just an okay experience, I’d thought it would be better. Maintenance is really good, they are fast and they fix things properly. Landscaping is really pretty and a nice gym!

first week here loved the whole community, everything is so peaceful and calm the pool is amazing and the view is so beautiful to look at and overall is a nice community

My roommate and I have been thoroughly impressed by the swift actions taken by the management to tackle issues within our apartment complex. One notable instance was when the AI service missed collecting residents' trash. Without delay, the management promptly contacted their supervisor to rectify the situation. Another commendable action was in response to some residents violating pool area rules by smoking, breaking glass, and exceeding the guest limit. In response, the management swiftly sent out an email to all residents, reminding them of the pool regulations and imposing fines on those found violating them.

The complex is nice and new, though only one bedroom has lighting installed which is odd. The bathrooms don’t have towel bars near the sinks, and the overhead lighting is way too bright with LED bulbs that are hard to replace.

Nothing beats brand new! This was the main thing for us. Then moving in, we saw the nice amenities and we were impressed. The park theme of the community is a solid plus too.
