The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Crest at Sugarloaf
I just wanted to write because I've been here 4 years. They keep the place clean. My apartment is great and spacious. I have had work orders but they always fix it. When I have my kids on the weekends they love the pool and community. I like that I can pay my rent in 3 payments. I wish they had a dog park. The Manager is very nice, and has been here the whole time I have been here. The trees are so beautiful changing colors. This is my home for a while and I'm happy here. Nothing is perfect but I feel comfortable staying here.
I've been at the Crest At Sugarloaf for over 15 years. I rented a 2 bedroom prior to my son leaving for college and moved out the 2 bedroom into a 1 bed once he left. I've stayed SO long because of THREE major reasons. 1. I LOVE the space my 1 bedroom has. I love the floorplan and 3rd floor. 2. I love the quietness in our section of the property. One bedrooms so mainly single people or married couples. NO kids. 3. I love the response from maintenance when something goes wrong in the unit. Quick and effective. I've been through 2-3 Property managers and love how they keep the grounds looking. Always clean and presentable. I noticed a few bad reviews (all of which is common NO matter where you live) it'll be something but overall I've always felt safe in my home. We often have different events (recently added was Taco Tuesday's) the food truck came out and the complex provided a $10 voucher for the 1st 75 residents. The food was VERY good. Also, everyone had their mask on :) I would recommend The Crest to my family and friends.
If you're looking for a stressful home environment, look no further! Most people want to come home to a relaxing place, but that won't happen here. Over the past year or so, the management has begun placing LVT flooring (which mimics hardwood) on 2nd and 3rd floor apartments. To me, this seems completely disrespectful to current residents living here. Hardwood flooring should only be placed on the bottom floors especially when proper insulation is not placed beneath the flooring to muffle noise. Now if you have neighbors upstairs who try to at least make an effort to be considerate, you're in luck, however I'd say your chances of that are pretty slim here. Even if you call courtesy officers, not much will get done. They say one thing to your face and tell the management something completely different when you're not there. The worst part about the whole situation is probably that no one believed my noise complaints were legitimate. Just because someone chooses to live on a first floor apartment doesn't mean that they just have to just deal with all the crap from above. Honestly, I'm very disappointed in how this complex has gone downhill over the past year.
I had a break in this week, the courtesy officer came fairly quickly and was very nice but honestly after that it got kind of bad. I explained that I must’ve been watched and targeted considering I’m the only apartment that seems to be hit so I asked to move apartments or break my lease and was told “even if you leave there’s no guarantee that this won’t happen again, this can happen anywhere” from the manager Heidi. Thanks for those kind words after my experience. Also, I’ve literally received several emails, like 3 a day over trivial things like the gate being closed, but nothing is sent out to let them know there’s been a break in. Someone may have had information. If I do get to move apartments it’s going to cost me an extra 55-75 dollars a month for the same appt after my rent was already raised by over 50 dollars with my renewal. I lived here for a year without any real big issues outside of noisy upstairs neighbors, but when you feel violated and watched, putting an alarm in doesn’t really fix those concerns. The recommendations I was given was to get an alarm system, which I will get for my next place or get a dog, I happen to have asthma so ???????. With the price increases in rent, especially if you’re a single woman, consider all of your options first before signing a lease here.
We have been her for two years and there has been two murders. The complex is supposed to be gated but the gates are open 24/7. Many residents have 5 to 10 people in a one bedroom apartment. Loud hip hop music every weekend. At least two drug dealers in the building. In the last two year this place has gone down hill. Not to mention the extra high water and sewer bills 69 dollars a month for two people plus expect a rent increase every lease renewal. At the end of my lease im moving.
I gave this apt complex 2 stars just because the apartments really are nice and the price is great- BUT the staff are the RUDEST people I have to interact with. I really dread going to the leasing office because they are not helpful, they rush, and are somehow never there during "business hours". Oh and they lie, lie lie. It's really quite unfortunate because if it wasn't for the staff I wouldn't mind living here.
As I am getting ready to move from my rental at Wesley Herrington, I look back and have only good things to talk about. I planned to be here one year and this complex has provided me the safety, comfort and quiet I needed. The grounds are nicely taken care of, the maintenance crew is extremely quick to respond and the staff in the front office always courteous and helpful. If I had not bought my forever-place I'd consider living here longer.
Pros - This is probably one of the most visually appealing apartment complexes that I have ever seen. The landscaping is top notch and is very appealing. During spring and summer it is gorgeous. Unfortunately, there is always trash scattered everywhere (probably due to lack of trash cans and the vast amount of children playing daily) - Rent is cheap compared to other complexes in the area. Cons - There have been two murders here in the last 1.5 months. The management loves to shift blame and say that those involved weren't residents or shouldn't have been there - yet to be a "resident" your name has to be on the lease. However, these people actually were living here, just not officially. - Noise. Noise. Noise. During the pool months, there is constantly someone blasting music either from a parked car, stereo systems at the pool, or from stereo setups in the grassy areas. And it's not softly-playing Mozart, its usually rap or latino with HEAVY bass that rattles everything within a 40 yard radius. The walls and floors are paper thin - you can easily hear the neighbors above you literally having a conversation. And if they have a heavy foot, then you'll be hearing their every move. I'm sure that is common with many apartments with neighbors living above, but never quite to this extent. - Management implements all of these rules, such as requiring wristbands to enter the pool and not parking on the side of the driveway to allow firetrucks/police cars to enter in case of emergencies, yet they're not enforced, which is evident when there are 150 people at the pool on any given day and not an inch of room to enjoy the pool. - Somehow the water meter at the complex broke and now you don't pay for your water usage, but a percentage of the national average or something ridiculous of that nature). This just occurred within the last few months and many residents probably don't even recognize that the billing has changed because the complex has not notified anyone of the change. Slightly frustrating when your lease states that your paying for the amount of water that you use, but it nearly doubles due to what is probably an illegal business practice. When my lease runs out in December I will definitely be moving out.
I have lived here for 4 years now in both 1 and 2 bedrooms. I could not be happier. The staff is wonderful and maintenance is one when you ask. Very well maintained both inside and out. It seems they go to the maximum in working with you and making it a home. I have always flt very safe here.
Beautifully manicured landscaping. They keep the buildings inside and out freshly painted. Anytime I have needed maintenance they were right there. I like that everything is done through the internet. Madeline is always helpful and courteous. The property is well lit at night which helps me to feel safe. I would recommend Wesley Herrington and I'm VERY picky......
Wesley Herrington is an apartment community that in my opinion is second to none in the categories of Friendly Staff from their Leasing Agents to Maintenance. Apartment homes are spacious, well kept, newly painted exterior, quiet, with well lite parking.
Ms. Madaline was very nice in helping me with my move. Some of the minor concerns I had with the apartment were addressed by her immediately. I've have no complaints so far about noise so far. This building seems to be very quite, I've already referred a friend to Wesley Herrington. Thanks again Madeline
