The Crest at Elm Tree

I just recently moved to the Crest at Elm Tree and I couldn’t be happier. The entire community is absolutely beautiful and the apartments are incredible. When you walk in it feels like home. The management staff couldn’t be more professional, and I am so excited that I made this decision. The area is lovely and main amenities like grocery stores, restaurants, fitness centers, etc. are all within 5 to 10 minutes from the community. I couldn’t recommend a better property if you’re looking for quiet, solace, and outdoor beauty.

I've lived in apartments in other states, and this complex is by far the best! The customer service is truly one of a kind. The leasing office was beyond helpful with my move-in process, and is always responsive with any questions or needs. Maintenance is on top of everything, and everyone is super friendly. I absolutely love my apartment! The grounds are very well-kept. The whole area is beautiful, peaceful, and one of a kind. I could not recommend The Crest enough!

My apartment was thoroughly cleaned and ready to move in when I arrived. The building looks great inside and out. Communication and coordination with the staff has been excellent. Enjoying then next adventure in my life!

First, The Crest at Elm Tree in Mount Joy, Pa., gets 5 stars -- no question about it. Our move to The Crest at Elm Tree came at an important time for us. In fact, there were two moves. The first brought an elderly parent and his youngest daughter, both of whom needed a change of scene and a mutually supportive home. We found that at The Crest and are grateful for that. When the time came for us to become more involved with their lives from day to day, we were able to make the very easy and wise decision to move to The Crest at Elm Tree. In fact, we moved into the neighboring building so we could walk back and forth as needed -- to help with medical appointments, shopping, household chores, watching Penn State football, and just enjoying time together (and lots of good meals). Over the course of nearly six-and-a-half years, our experiences at The Crest at Elm Tree and with all of the on-site personnel were as you would expect them to be at a first-rate community: professional, prompt and personable. We found the team at The Crest at Elm Tree to be welcoming, friendly and understanding. All of that combined to make our stay at The Crest special and memorable. We can't thank The Crest team enough for that. We wholeheartedly recommend The Crest at Elm Tree. This is like living in a private country club. Private streets, walking trails, immaculate grounds, Saltwater pool, washing car port state of the art gym excellent Maintenace and parking plus extremely quiet inside and out. The staff Maryann, Mindy, Karen and everyone else extremely attentive. Sunday had my air-conditioning went out called the office and the maintenance rep. was here and fixed in 1 hr. Bottom line if you want to live in a beautiful safe private country club environment only one of a kind in Lancaster County move here. Extremely happy residents Jeff and Eveline

I moved in April 1st from a private rental where I did everything myself. I LOVE living here because you are truly taken care of! I had my washer machine break down and a new one was delivered the next day. The blind in my dining area came apart from the top and they repaired it the same day. I asked for the code on my garage to be changed and it was completed within the hour. They are on top of maintenance game! The neighbors are more mature so there is no loud partying. The amenities are sufficient not the latest and greatest but still very nice. The pool is great. I have small children and there are so many parks nearby and fun stuff to do. I love the walking paths and accessibility to EVERYTHING! A few down sides are I can hear my neighbors use the bathroom in the middle of the night so I am sure they can here me! The paint shows every finger print in the house and I can see the dry wall seams in the living room. Overall though this has been the happiest place I have ever lived and it truly fits my lifestyle!

I've lived in a few apartments and my expectations are that the basic needs are met. The Crest at Elm Tree was and is way above that because of a number of items. It started with meeting me Sunday, to see a sample unit. Then the communication during the application process was excellent. And finally, when I moved in, the apartment readiness and cleanliness was way above my expectations. To include giving me touch up paint to clean up my move in marks. The property itself is pleasant, clean, and quiet, with extras like a pool and gym. The location gives me easy access to highways and all conveniences in Mt. Joy and area.

You will not be disappointed living here, The Crest at Elm Tree. It is nothing short of Paradise in the Country. The grounds are beautiful. It is peaceful. The Cypress model apartment is more than I could ask for. I have a garage for my car, lots of storage upstairs on my second floor level, walk in closet is a dream. There are ceiling fans in each room, lighting to find your way in your very spacious home. Lots of nooks and crannies to store your most precious possessions. The office staff are so helpful, they made my transition to my new home a professional and flawless experience.

Office team and facilities are fantastic. No delays with requests and always responsive and helpful. My apartment was the PERFECT space for me. I love my bedroom because the alcove is a perfect place for a sitting or reading area next to a window. The shelves in the master closet are perfect for keeping dressing essentials (scarfs/masks/belts) close to my clothing. There is also a sizable closet in the master bath. AND my fav space is my garage. Its huge!! Can pull my car in and open both doors without issue. A space to keep the trash and recycling bins out of sight and I even had a decent size storage space. The community is quiet. Pool is clean and spacious. Great place to live!

In almost 8 years here I've totally enjoyed my spacious 'nest', the staff responsible for taking care of things and the special friends I've come to know. I highly recommend The Crest at Elm Tree as a first home, if in transition or as a retirement place. I enjoy all the amenities as well as having a multi-generational community. The units have a private country feel yet it’s close to everywhere!

We looked at many apartments around Lancaster County and this by far checked all of our boxes. The best thing is your own garage that is attached right to your home. When something is broken in our apartment the maintenance staff comes right away. If you like walking there is so many walking paths around the complex and it is always clean and well maintained.

The development puts you in the mindset of a country club. The employees are very professional, nice, caring, and willing to help. Especially Kevin. The development is centrally located so that accessing major roadways is very easy. Also, the development, with respect to the area and neighbors, is a very safe environment.

The Crest at Elm Tree is a unique apartment complex. I remember the first time I drove past it, I could not believe what a beautiful, elegant, unusual place. It reminded me of one of those places like Disney World where they recreate a village-type setting. To me The Crest is wonderful because it is quaint to look at--the buildings are not all the same row upon row. The landscaping is well taken care of and the maintenance and office staff are second to none! I have lived here over 5 years and just moved to a smaller apartment in The Crest, and I couldn't be happier.

Close to everything including all major highways. Quiet. Beautiful apartment (the appliances and finishes are not high end, but adequate). Would recommend to anyone.

I looked at many apartment complexes in Lancaster County, and settling on The Crest at Elm Tree was a very easy choice. I chose a 2 bedroom end unit with a spacious, open, and sunny floor plan and thoughtful architectural details. There is an in-unit washer and dryer, two walk-in closets, with an attached garage. The kitchen has ample counter space and allows myself and one other person to work comfortably. There is a fitness center, pool, lovely clubhouse, and access to walking and biking trails. The staff is very friendly and courteous. Any maintenance request I've submitted has been acknowledged and completed very quickly - exceeding any of my expectations!

Everything we need and we enjoy the apt. Staff for office is cordial and helpful. Karen has always been pleasant and efficient. Maintenance is excellent and we appreciate Kevin. Management above them could be nicer. Pool and surrounding area is a nice touch An option to have better carpet at a reasonable cost to the renter .

Happiness, joy, peace, comfort. Best place to spend your time. People are great and service is excellent.

My wife and I could not be happier with our decision to live at the Crest. We moved into the Crest on August 12th,2019. We downsized from a 4750 sq.ft. 5 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom and 2 car garage home on a half acre lot. There was a ton of maintenance. We moved into a 2 BedR, 2 BathR,2 Car Garage apartment with plenty of room for the two of us. No maintenance for us to do. We can turn the key and go away for weeks at a time. The business staff and maintenance staff are excellent. The clubhouse facilities and pool are great. The campus is beautiful. There are plenty of parking spaces, benches to relax, gazebos to sit under and walking paths that encircle the property. The apartment is very quiet and it is always pleasant sitting on our balcony having a cocktail and listening to the birds. Plenty to like at the Crest. Great choice for us.

I moved into the Crest at Elm Tree in early 2011 and recently relocated to another state in August 2019. From Day 1 to my move-out at the end of my 8 ½ years, my experience was nothing short of exceptional. My apartment was in excellent condition when I moved in, it really looked brand new. During my time there I had only minor, routine maintenance issues. I always submitted my request online in the evening and in every case the issue was resolved the following morning no later than Noon. The move-out process was smooth and I was grateful for a full refund of my security deposit. The entire property is in great condition and extremely well maintained. It was an absolute pleasure living there for over 8 years. Most importantly, the staff is fantastic. They’re helpful, caring, professional and always eager to assist in any way. Without hesitation, I’d recommend the Crest at Elm Tree for your residence and home.

Great apartment complex centrally located between Lancaster, York, Harrisburg and Hershey in the quite town of Mount Joy. Close to grocery stores, parks and restaurants, especially Mosby's Pub (great place for wings!). There are a total of 27 buildings in this apartment complex with a mix of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments. Some apartments come with attached garages. All apartments have their own washer and dryer, so no saving up quarters and running to a Laundromat! There is a club house, pool (great for a dip on a hot summer day!), and 24/7 maintenance. My apartment is called a Magnolia. It is a very spacious second floor 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment with an attached 2-car garage, which is great for extra storage space. This apartment even has two balconies of which the bigger one is great for sitting out and relaxing on during the cool spring and fall months. Overall, great apartment!

The Crest at Elm Tree is one of the most impressive apartment complexes in Lancaster County. Located just off of Main Street in Mount Joy, PA, it is close to supermarkets, quaint little restaurants with great food, and other small businesses. The city of Lancaster is only about 15 minutes away if you take 283 East. The apartment complex itself is equipped with many resort-like features, including a luxurious clubhouse with a bar that serves free fresh baled cookies daily, a swimming pool with a fountain, a 24-hour fitness center, a small computer lab with free printing available, and a car wash station. There is adequate lighting throughout the neighborhood, so you feel safe walking around outside at night. And there are strong locks on the doors to give you extra peace of mind. Maintenance crews are usually quick to respond to calls for assistance, and they come around 3 times per year to change your air filters for you. If you have pets and/or plants that you need someone to care for while you are away on a trip, the Crest staff will do this for you as well. The apartments themselves generally have high ceilings with fans, plenty of closet space and lighting, washer/dryers, carpeted floors, and kitchens with microwaves, oven, dishwasher, and full size refrigerators. I should mention that the ice maker in the fridge tends to melt the ice cubes together inside the tray, leaving a big ice block, so periodically you have to take it out, empty it, and start the ice maker over. Also, the kitchens are really only big enough for one person to be in them at a time; they're not ideal for couples/families who like to cook together. Garages come with the apartments - handy for keeping your car from being snowed on so you don't have to clean it off before you go out, but they are only big enough for compact cars; if you have a bigger vehicle like an SUV you may have a hard time getting in and out of it while it is in the garage. There is outside parking available, so having visitors over is easy. There are also small balconies located just outside the living rooms which is a nice idea, but I have never seen anyone sitting outside on any of them, which may be because the balconies are too small, and the railings block your view when you're sitting down. This complex can be expensive to live in. I recommend going with a 1-BR if you want a safe and convenient place to live on a budget. Tenants range from college students to retirees. Great place, but pricey.
