Property Ratings at Retreat at St. Andrews
On my tour, I met with the manager who truly seems to care about his residence. He gave me an honest rundown of my situation and actually cared about helping me get better and not just only for the apartments but in life.
Everything is nice and nice neighborhood Great staff
I drove over 20 hours to get to an apartment (St.Hell) that is, 1. In a bad area 2. No running water! Bad enough I moved during the weekend (office close) so I had to wait till Monday, I went to the office at 938am, left and came back home at 5pm, still no running water. Maintenance came and said “ you’re going to have to do with what you got”. So the next morning I waited for maintenance to arrive and no one showed up till i went to the office upset, now my base broad in my kitchen is leaking, don’t ask me how or why but it is, now today makes 5 days me and my family haven’t showered, worse move ever.
I love my home from the very beginning they made me feel welcome my apartment was clean and very up to date my kids love visiting the park and maintenance is great with keeping the apartment grounds clean I recommend to everyone who is interested to apply.
My family, the Bruce clan, just moved in at the end of May, and for the first time in a while, we are content to be where we are. It did take some time to get things situated for our lease signing as there is new management, but everyone we worked with was welcoming and friendly and informative. The office staff did all they could to accommodate our requests for a washer/dryer connection and apartment with the new renovations. We had a few things wrong in our apartment and maintenance was on top of getting those things fixed. We are happy with the cost of the rent as it was in the budget we were looking for and it's close to our work. The recreation center across the street has a pool and amenities we can take part in. The pool is even free. We plan to stay here until we buy a house. We recommend the Retreat at St. Andrews. They are working on renovating and cleaning up the neighborhood. Give it a chance.
Outside of these apts are horrible. Roaches everywhere and the 2 ladies in the office are just awful. I hate I ever lived here. And they refuse to give my deposit back when I moved out the hood. This is a for sure hood. Remodeling!! Where At!! Don't Do It!!
For a property of its age it's in excellent condition. I have been here almost a year and it's great. The property manager is very outgoing and makes the living here much worth wild. I the prices are excellent and I plan on living here until I buy a home.
This place is ok, however the manager is not always on site and the manager lives there. Maintenance is always a patch up job and you have to call more than once to get things fixed.It was good while it lasted, but I'm glad im gone from there. P.S. don't even think about calling the office.........you will never catch anyone there, but their office hours are from 8:30 to 5:30.... yeah right
