Maple Village is a convenient suburban community just west of Downtown Omaha. The neighborhoods of the Maple Village area, which include Maplewood Hills, were once considered the outskirts of Omaha, but today they’re a thriving suburban locale that’s great for families and commuting professionals. You’ll find modern single-family home developments and a plethora of affordable apartment communities. There are restaurants and stores galore – of both the easily recognized variety and a few local spots – along Maple Street and just off Interstate 680. Westroads Mall is a popular place to shop just south of Maple Village, and there are plenty of green spaces in neighboring communities like Benson Gardens. Property Ratings at The Colonial Apartments
I applied for these apartments April 6. April 8 I was told I was approved for the studio. The assistant manager said it was being painted that day, and I could move in. Over a week passed and I wasn’t given any type of update and my emails stop being returned. I called yesterday and the manager said give her 24 hours and she would have everything squared away and would call me back. I believed her but I never heard anything back. So I finally drove out there and asked for my money back she didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience just said “OK it will take about two weeks.” I canceled my storage unit and hired guys to move my furniture and now I will literally be homeless in 24 hrs

I want to warn people when choosing these apartments. This is the worst I've seen. The apartment is rented out in an unfit condition: the furniture in the kitchen and in the bathroom is all old and swollen, the carpet is old (I don't even know how long it hasn't been changed). The manager's attitude is not friendly. And there were even cockroaches in the apartment. The water from the tap stinks. My car was towed for expired registration, for which I paid their partners 360 dollars. Please think before you save 100 dollars and move into these apartments.

Management never seems to be around. The office hours appear to be largely inaccurate which causes a number of issues if you become a resident. Requests for repairs have gone unanswered for months. Which hints at a number of other issues present here.

I would give more stars except, The manager Jess is condescending and rude. After numerous complaints about her I don't understand why she still has a job. I will be contacting every source possible about how she treats new tenants that are about to move in. The CONSTANT change in staff costed me 3 extra days of rent due to the OFFICE workers not taking notes nor entering CORRECT data into computer. Jess prefers to blame & charge new tenants for THEIR mistakes. Frankly, Jess is dragging this community down.
Colonial Apartments has been a great place to live the staff is always Kind and compassionate. If you are struggling no matter if it is financially emotionally or physically they will Set aside time to reach out to other organizations to get the help you may need.
The customer service is great at the Colonial Apartments ??????.

My experience with the Colonial Apartments has been nothing but great. Both girls in the office are very helpful and made our move in go smooth.
The colonial is great for moving out on your own for the first time since it's so inexpensive. For a studio you're only paying 500$ a month with a maximum of $20 every month in utilities. Although, when I moved in the layout was different than in the brochure, there is no dishwasher, and it seems like they didn't do much cleaning if any after the last tenant moved out. But if you want a cheap apartment, you're in the right place here!
