Dixie-Berryhill is a sprawling, wooded neighborhood located about 12 miles west of Downtown Charlotte and six miles from Charlotte Douglas International Airport. The neighborhood is located along the Catawba River, so residents have easy access to the water for fishing and other activities. This family-friendly neighborhood has good schools and is close to other conveniences people of any age can enjoy. Dixie-Berryhill is 10 miles south of the United States National Whitewater Center as well. The center is a popular kayaking and canoeing destination for its manmade river, along with other attractions including a ropes course and zip lines. Head south for even more fun at Carowinds, a popular amusement park with roller coasters galore. There are several shopping plazas in the area and the Charlotte Premium Outlets is also located in Dixie-Berryhill.

I have been a resident for six months and I tell the staff all the time “you guys are the best”. Life literally slapped me in the face when my grandfather got sick and eventually passed away. I was left with a whole lot more responsibilities than intended and the understanding from that office was impeccable. Grace they never had to extend but did. The apartment complex is well kept. Staff is friendly (I do mean every single staff I have encountered in that office). The events every month is well thought out and the community actually participates. Julia and Chris have been my right hand man since I moved in. My experience has been great and I’m so happy that I moved here.

I have been at The Collins since 2021 and I have to say that Julia and her team have made this place great! Sabrina puts on the best resident events and you can tell she puts her whole heart into them! Ostynn and Chris at the front are always so helpful. And the maintenance team is amazing too! Junior and Brian are so quick to get our requests taken care of and the newest tech Anderson has made my breezeways look so much nicer! Such a great place to live!

Moved here into brand new Apt. All appliances were brand new. Chose a unit on the first floor to get hardwood floors throughout. Love the area and close to everything. Staff is very nice and helpful.

Community is clean and beautiful (brand new too! I was the first to live in my unit). I love the clubhouse, it’s perfect for hosting! Been here almost a year and I really have no complaints. I usually don't write reviews but my experience with the community here has really stood out compared to anywhere else I have lived. I always look forward to any reason to visit the front office because they are so warm and friendly! Ostynn from the front desk really makes me feel like part of the family. I remember a great experience when Chris helped me carry a heavy package to my apartment because I live alone and had no one to help me. Also, you can really tell that the manager Julia and her assistant Sabrina honestly care about the residents and making sure our community remains a great place to live! They use a really cool app where we can upload pictures of the community and events hosted here; it really makes me feel connected to my neighbors :)

The Collins is the perfect place to call home! Located in a quiet yet friendly neighborhood, close to a lot of stores/restaurants, beautiful community, AMAZING staff. The apartments are already beautiful online but in person is even better! Julia the community manager really sets the tone of how wonderful living here is. The apartments themselves are new, having a great layout and new appliances. Any small “new building” issues that did come up were quickly taken care of by maintenance. The arrangement of the buildings makes the community walkable and encourages people to get to know each other. The staff here is welcoming and has been willing to help me from day I came in!! No change in how I was treated after I signed the lease!

It is a charming and beautiful place, I recommend it 100%, it is quiet, everything new, the staff is very attentive and friendly. I love everything, I am in love with my apartment, as I dreamed of having it.
I have been living at The Collins apartments since March and I adore it! The apartment finishes and design are gorgeous, as well as the clubhouse being an amazing space. The leasing staff is the kindest and most caring people. I recommend The Collins to anyone!
